On arrival we found slug pellets in the garden which could have been lethal to dogs and children ..The property is very sub-standard in our opinion . Linen stained and quite frankly should have been checked before we arrived .
The gate at the top of the stairs was broken and a young child could have fallen down the staircase.
We would never use this company again as they have not handled our complaint in a proper manner

After contacting this company on two separate occasions and still receiving no reply, I feel the only way to get any response is by leaving this review.
Our friends and I stayed in two pods in Shepton Mallet for a two‑night break. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The outside garden area was covered in dog mess from previous guests, which was the first sign that the pods had not been properly cleaned.
Inside, things weren’t much better. Both pods were below standard in terms of cleanliness. The shower in our pod was so badly blocked with hair that it flooded, ruining our suitcase and clothes. Although the surrounding area is beautiful, the accommodation itself desperately needs a deep clean and proper maintenance.
We paid £425 for two nights, yet couldn’t check in until 4pm, which already reduces the value for money — and even then, what should have been a relaxing break turned into us cleaning up other people’s mess and dealing with the aftermath of the flooding.
Extremely disappointing and not worth the price.

Facilities & location, especially the ability to park the car. Our Honda jazz just fits!
However we do have one request, if possible could you provide a tea tray or maybe a couple please.

Honestly this company couldn't have done anymore for us. We were let down with our original accomodation via a different company. I then contacted luxury coastal and they sorted us out very quickly. The team on the phones couldn't have helped anymore. They contacted the owner and housekeeper swiftly to answer any questions we had. They even let us leave our broken down car on the drive after we had checked out for a few hours whilst it was collected. Would definitely recommend and will use again in the future. Thank you
