I became a member last week, I used the online ordering for the first time and despite placing £40 worth goods, the total refused to go beyond £12.45 so I was refused check out because I had ' not reached £15 min spend ' ! I tried to raise the issue via the online problem help forum but all the pre written Q and A focused only on In Store issues.... ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUSLY BACKWARD !
I've no choice but to cancel membership, after wasting 1.2 hrs trying to ' Shop ' with this particular company. A VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE 😕

The lady at the till and the manager both insisted that my money had not left my account even though I showed them it had as I get immediate updates via my app. Their tills were so faulty, they even had to reboot both tills and my account immediately and after being embarrassed by their problems as they made out I was at fault even though they took my money twice. Embarrassing me in my local community. Further more, I didn't even get my reward stamp. So I'm out of money as it left my account twice and I'm out of rewards. My mother told me not to trust co-op as they often take your money. So true. Contacted customer services and all I received in response was sorry. didn't even acknowledge their wrongdoing or the fact I followed their so called reward system and didn't get it. Shameful. Shameful and quite frankly disgusting. No care or consideration for their customers. Steer clear

We have been buying our Fresh whole Chicken from the Coop for the last few months now after trying Aldi,Asda, tesco, Marks and Spencer as well as our local butchers, Coop wins hands down.plenty of meat, very moist and tastes like a roast chicken shoukd taste. Not over priced. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

Bought double cream and it’s like milk. Poor quality products which are 30% more expensive than other supermarkets. Shelves always half full and yet cages block aisles. No staff around when queues get long. A depressing and frustrating shopping experience. Always. Staff are pleasant though. It’s just a poor relation to other supermarkets unfortunately. Would rather shop at local corner shop.

Co-Op is one of the worst around my area, they only allow card payments for self service checkouts, meaning that people with cash only have to que for longer at the Tobacco Kiosk and put a whole load of shopping across their small till area. Bad service most of the time. Make your machines take cash or actually open the cash till, which they have NEVER done and they have 2 of them. Wow. Don't waste your time or money here if you can go elsewhere.

I feel pretty strongly that I'm playing Russian roulette every time I place an online order.
If the order is delivered, that in itself is a significant achievement. If the items in the second recite state that the items that I ordered are actually there, that is another achievement.
It is a waste of time to make an official complaint, as the Head Office doesn't respond to any complaints. And The Manager at my local store doesn't give a toss! I've spoken by phone to the "Gentleman." He needs to go on a training course in Customer Service.
Were it not for the fact that I have health problems; that make it practical for me to use The Coop. I would have stopped buying from them ages ago.

Terrible!! Ordered a home delivery which didn’t turn up as they had no drivers (they don’t tell you this and take the payment, customer service is awful!! They’ve no idea about anything and don’t even try to help.

The food cost money! Absolute fraudery!

What sort of utter misery are co-op trying to inflict with their irresistible garlic and parsley flat bread? It is dry. It is flavourless. It is disappointing. The misery from the garlic bread is nothing compared to the pain and degradation felt while consuming the “irresistible” beef ravioli. I am certain that my dog’s dinner has a better colour, consistency and flavour than the beef (gristle) ravioli filling. I will never return to co-op while these products remain on sale.

I was in COOP Edinburgh, after landing for my vacation. i was shocked by the customer service with how little they helped i tried to make conversation with they workers but they just looked shrugged and got back to work should make tourists feel more welcome

I BOUGHT SOME JOLLY HOG OUTDOOR BREAD BLACK TREACLE AND IT IS AMAZING TASTE SENSATION IT IS DEFINITELY A 5 STAR PRODUCT I TRULY RECOMMEND THIS HAM YOU CERTAINLY WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED I WILL BE ASKING IF THE CO-OP WILL BE STOCKING ANY MORE OF THESE PRODUCTS.

Ok, just wanted to let the Co op have feedback on their 'honest value carrots'. Twice now have found them slimy and basically horrible. Should have learned from the first time. I buy carrots for my dogs as a snack. Aldi wobbly carrots are fantastic value. Co op honest value carrots are disgusting. So, tried to fill in a feedback form - they put you through the mill: product code (not recognised), bar code (not recognised), packaging code, name, address, tel number, branch details... just to tell them the honest value carrots are anything but honest or good value... well, after all that I got a message stating there was a form issue, and to call them instead... so tried the number, got a message stating number not available.... seriously?

Please do not sell the roasted half chicken, it is revolting. You can maybe sell it as pet food if you hoping your customers have Cockroaches as pets

We have just made our wills with the co op legal services the lady who explained at great length was Sharon Stephenson she made it straight forward and easy to understand

We live near a co op, and the people that work there are very nice 😊 my oldest daughter loves the bread, and always gets some when we go there. I also get my daughters a kinder egg, and they really enjoy it.

Visited Wesham Co op today and after being bumped into by a male member of staff, no apology given, i then joined what I thought was the queue as there has always been 2 lines of queue in this coop to be called out by an obnoxious know it all, in the other queue
WESHAM GET YOUR QUEUE LINE SIGNAGE ADDED IN STORE IF THIS IS THE NEW PROCEDURE....I left my shopping at the counter and went to Aldi....not as handy but a damn sight cheaper and decent staff with manners .

Nil option unavailable.I had a coop card with equiv of 25 pounds accumulated ready for Xmas.I tried to spend my points but was told I wasn't allowed at that branch as I was a different region.I contacted Coop who advised me of branches that were not near me where I could use the credit.So they let me use any Coop to purchase and gain points but wouldn't let me spend the points at a branch of my choice which was in Npton.I contacted Coop again but was told I would lose the points which I in fact did so the Coop kept all my points equating to approx 25 pounds .So after being a loyal customer that's what you get in return.Since then I have never shopped at Coop .One assistant in the Parklands Coop never used to speak at the till ..never ever said a word .No greeting ..no please..no thankyou ever ever all the time I used the shop..Says it all really..The date was actually some years ago as it's shut now but after reading the coop was dropping their point system it annoyed me again .

placed an online shop with coop for first time 3rd Jan Barrachnie branch Glasgow as too ill to go out, the delivery was never made Tried calling them all day. Eventually got them late afternoon, the person who answered was really nice to be fair and did say my order was bagged and ready for delivery but driver hadn't turned up to collect, decided to cancel the order as definitely wasn't being delivered after 10pm. I am still waiting for a refund which is now 10th Jan. will definitely not use Coop delivery service again. The customer service is a joke almost non existant
