I have read all the comments about this place and their way of doing business and I’ve been more than patient with them. If PayPal can’t help me I’m going to take this further on principle and I suggest all those who left comments do the same. They’re STILL advertising their goods in emails to me but all my emails to them have been ignored. I suggest we all take this further
I was a returning customer of theirs and if Kernow hampers and I don’t deserve to be swindled in this way - none of us do so we must do something about them collectively and show them they cannot get away with this fraud.

Diabolical customer service.

I ordered a Christmas special, the order didn’t get processed. I was offered a substitute. Delivery date was advised but was then delayed. I advised CHS that I wouldn’t be in on the next date to accept an order. They delivered anyway and so the food sat thawing out and rotting on my doorstep for 24+ hours. Since then they have not replied to any communication from me asking for a refund. They are a small company and times are hard but times are hard for me also. They owe me money.

If the order goes to plan then all is good but if it goes wrong, they will not rectify.

I have recently emailed them again, with no reply.

I have been attempting to get a refund from this company since before Christmas. Please do not buy from them as I have received no communication apart from an email telling me they would get round to a refund ...this was over 6 weeks ago. They di not respond at all when I email them. I am unhappy that they continue to be allowed to trade. DO NOT USE !

Crooks. Order never delivered and no refund despite numerous requests. Also trade as Kernow Hamper Store ltd, Cornish Chef Ltd, Hello Cornwall Hampers Ltd & Hello Cornwall Ltd.

It was August 2922 . No delivery!! Email said , " perishable goods , cannot deliver " !!! .I emailed and no reply. Investigated this company , and found the name of the Director ( MD) which is CHRIS SWEET . Found him on Facebook, and sent private message . No reply at all, but miraculously, I then had a delivery of the Pasties that I had ordered, which tasted pretty awful ( this was about 10 days after I ordered) . After this , I received loads of emails from this scam company wanting me to order pasties . I had to block them in the end. I have since ordered pasties from a really good company called PROPER PASTY COMPANY, and so different!! Delivered on time, and lovely pasties . So I advise all these people to message this Director , and hopefully you'll get a result. I was even going to drive 150 miles to this company, and confront them face to face , Scam company

8 december. Had email to say they
had problems with dpd. Said they would refund money of £45.49.
Sent emails,phone calls and still no reply. And still no refund.75years old can not afford to lose money like that.

Ordered in December never received. Got an email cancelling and blaming DPD and said will get a refund. Never responded to emails - sent a recorded delivery letter to them - unable to deliver. Doubt I'll every see my £25.99 again.

Never received pasties that were ordered on 15/12/22 as a Xmas present, messages have not been answered.

If I could give zero rating that would be what this bunch of con merchants deserve. Paid end of November 2022 £25.99 for eight turkey and stuffing and cranberry pasties. They have never arrived. I had a couple of emails saying they couldn't get hold of the pasties from wherever they get them from and blamed DPD delivery too. Basically they will never refund me my money or deliver the pasties... probably gone bust!?
I have been conned and let down. I also noticed that they are still taking online orders... don't order anything from these dodgy people!!

Ordered Turkey & Cranberry pasties for delivery on 30/11. No pasties delivered and no emails received. Eventually got message saying they had only received 3 cases of 24 ordered and so would send them out in a week. Still no pasties delivered. Took a week to reply to my message and then said they would be another week. I asked for refund. No response but got daily emails encouraging me to place another order. I took it up with PayPal and received a full refund. Then received an email blaming Black Friday and DPD and then saying they have ceased trading. Appalling way to run a Company. Why continue to take orders when you know you can’t fulfil the orders you already have let alone more! Just hope they don’t start trading again!,

£17.99 wasted on hoping to receive scones on 25th November. Asked for refund the next week, they said they would send more out ( didn’t want them) Delivery company didn’t deliver to my home and they will not discuss it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Has cost me £17.99 but won’t get caught again

Ordered from this company in the past and were always pleased with the products, however this time no email confirmation, no delivery and no replies to my emails or Facebook messages. I doubt I will receive a refund as they have most probably ceased trading!

I’ve had some previous purchases and always been very pleased , my last order however was shoddily packed , leading to the pasties working their way out of the flimsy plastic bags they were in and becoming damaged , some had the corners broken off , also one fell on the floor when I picked the bag up ! Not ideal as I was in the garage about to put them in the freezer , I did contact customer services that was over 2 weeks ago , so I’m assuming they are not bothered about the condition they arrive in !

I wish i had checked reviews before ordering.after receiving 100s of emails of offers i decided. to give them a try. i ordered. the box which contains 2 veg pasties and 4 scones. with clotted cream strawberry jam and 4 tea bags. i ordered on 22/11 for the 29th/11.
i didn't arrive.so i accepted it might come Monday or Tuesday of following week.... it didn't i called. no one. to answer phone , i emailed. ... no replies.
i tried to get. to them through twitter etc, nothing.
i eventually got paypal involved... that did the trick.
an email arrived saying it would be with me soon. it ended up being a day late, and arriving at 5 on Friday 2nd of dec. i opened. to find dry ice long gone .
i took a chance and cooked at once. they were ok scones were nice, but all the bs prior to that put me off.
tried. to leave a review on their email , it would not let me save it,,,, hence i'm here
DONT RECOMMEND WOULD NOT USE AGAIN

I do not know how you have any 5 star reviews as all I can read are one star. My pasties no show too (order 76123) can not reach you by phone/email/messenger. I would like pasties or refund or at very least an explanation. Do not confuse this company with Cornish Company who are excellent. If I hear from you will happily change my review. If not I am taking this further.

I contacted Paypal a couple days ago and got refund confirmed instantly. Had email today from company saying bakery had not sent them out enough pasties in their order and offered to send them in a week or get refund. I decided to stick with refund !

Very poor customer service, they are meant to send next day delivery, have been waiting for almost a week now and they have still not been dispatched. I have chased the order but do not even receive a reply to my emails. This company do not deserve your money!

Having ordered from their Web page I have received absolutely nothing no pasties no refund , no replys to my emails, unable to contact by phone.
This company is just one big con shop, takes your money and gets away with it.
AVOID THIS COMPANY IT'S A SCAM.

Still no email, still no refund, never going to get anything.
Now trading under a different name,

Seriously stay clear.

I made an order on 6th November to be delivered 8th November…… which I’m still waiting for. I’ve emailed them 4 times and haven’t had any reply. They took my payment of £26.99, I’ve asked them for a refund but I haven’t received one. I’m starting chemotherapy very shortly for breast cancer treatment and wanted to stock up my freezer with easy to cook meals for my family for the days I’m not well enough to cook.
I will never order from this company again, it’s absolutely disgusting that they can’t even acknowledge my messages.
