Takes hours to input data that should take minutes. List of types of companies do not list the common ones. Trying to determine what fields are required takes forever.
I'm yet another user that is having difficulty with coupa. They do not answer emails, the live system help doesnt work. DO NOT USE COUPA!!!!!!!!!!!!
the user interface is terrible, and there is notorious expense rating system that gives random scores of a simple expense report. Every sane business should stay away from this product and the company... Ver más

Coupa isn't worth it
This system took me over 20 times just to get registered. Then this friggin nightmare of a system still hasn't finished processing my registration. This nightmare has gone on for over 3 months. What a joke! Why would any company think Coupa brings value of any sort? To quote The Grinch, Stink-Stank-Stunk

I put date of experience as 7/24/2024 but it has been going on more than 2 1/2 years. This company is absolute trash. I feel so sorry for the local company that I do work for as they have went above and beyond what they should have had to do. Coupa blames company for the issues and asks for an indeterminant amount of updates to prolong the issues. The company I do service for is a national chain and I do not understand what they are doing letting Coupa tarnish their name. There was suppose to be constructive content in this review but I truly am unable to find any positives. The only positive I can come up with is the company I service is very patient with this program which is complete rubbish.
REPEATED requests for more info....
I've gone through all my account settings, everything is filled out...yet, I keep getting emails that state "provider is not responding to request for information" and I'm stuck.
I have ONE invoice, and today, I received an email stating that invoice has been paid.
I have not been paid. This whole system is a mess.
Live chat confirms I am who I am and yet, has no access to payment information.....absolutely useless.
Rubbish procurement software - high likelihood of payment errors
1. Phone number format incorrect, cannot enter a phone number - tried multiple different formats, all errored. This problem was solved decades ago. Offshore coders maybe??!!
2. Bank code format for Hong Kong is wrong - it is NOT 6 digits! US focus maybe??!!
3. Chat support box format made it not possible to click in the right places
4. Separate topic chat achieved (yay!), followed by a sudden reset of the chat box with no way to recover (boo!)
5. Responding to information requests is a VERY long page, no auto-save, fast auto-logout, and no indication when saving/submitting if an error occurs, and if so, where!
COUPA - WORST SYSTEM OUT THERE
WHO writes these high mark reviews for this system. It is inflexible, not user friendly at all, a time consuming tedious waste of resources.
Any benefit that Coupa has, is miniscule to the man hours it takes to manipulate one invoice.
Horrible experience
Horrible experience. All I tried to do is register and submit an invoice. Hours later, time wasted and frustration. I can’t believe orgs are adopting this software, it’s horrible. I guess I just won’t get paid and cancel my future work.

The Support function, although being very prompt to answer, is absolutely useless. Any question I have regarding Coupa's functionality, they tell me to ask my client. Why would the client know more about Coupa's functionality than Coupa do!? Absolutely ridiculous. Slow to use and buggy I don't know why anyone would choose to use this system. AVOID

Where is my payment?!!!
One of our clients has implemented this system to manage their procurement, it has become a disaster for everyone! no connection between the client and vendor, none of the instructions were followed and no one knows (even my client's finance team) where the payment is!? This system appears to be particularly challenging for small businesses.
Spend your money on a fork instead of this platform
Go buy a fork so you can repeatedly stab yourself in the eye. it would be a far more pleasurable and constructive experience......

If your outside of U.S. your better off having your payment sent by courier pigeon. Takes a week to move payment. I'm betting they are up to some over night loan racket with funds that should be sent to their clients suppliers on time but hold for 48 plus hours to use the money.
Worst company ever
Worst company ever. No customer service for suppliers. Client send me a PO and I have to somehow figure out this system. The 2 step verification to what? I cant even change the phone number, and I would need an employee to use a personal phone to download a 3rd party app that my company cells block from downloading.
Final decision, I asked the client for the payment in advance before I ship out an order. Or find another way to get.
If a customer uses this system - STOP NOW.
Coupa claim all "issues" with service workflow are due to the Company they represent through their service (ie throw their customer under a bus) - they just implement their Customers workflows. The whole user experience is poor so there could be some truth to this. It could be that a Company with issues is predisposed to accept the lowest bid. Peas in a pod.
I experienced data entry without error checking, valid information rejected, forms that fail to submit, illogical messages and workflows and mysterious solutions that only technical support can fix (without explanations). Then the workarounds start.
Just take Coupa as a red flag and don't do anything until you have a PO - if your customer can wait that long! It might not be their fault it is hardly a professional service ready for prime time.
Absolute shambles of a system
Absolute shambles of a system. After a takeover we had to ditch our old ordering system and adopt Coupa, trying to place an order with a supplier now takes hours (sometimes days) compared to 3-4 minutes it used to take. Support is non existent and only work "business hours" which is only one of a multitude of problems. Engineers not able to obtain kit from wholesalers causing multiple site revisits, equipment arriving days late due to Coupa issues adding days on site and penalty charges. I would not be surprised one bit if Coupa caused my company to fold within a year.
Terrible Terms and Conditions
I see a lot of reviews didn't like Coupa's interface. I didn't even get that far. Despite me not having any contract with Coupa, to access their services I had to agree with their terms of use. Thought I'd take a quick look and glad I did. They are very one-sided and make me want to not have anything to do with this company. Queried it with them but got nowhere. Went back to the company I will be invoicing but they can't do anything. Will not be using Coupa
Worst company i have ever dealt with
Spent more time trying to get Coupa to work, than I spent on the actual job.
I am a contractor who has done work for a large company. This large company proudly announced that they were moving to Coupa at the start of the year. The user interface is awful, it says I need to add an address. I added an address at the start of the process, but it won't let me use that address from the invoice. My profile says its 58% complete, but I can't move on from the bits I've already done, which means - to me - it must be completed. Every step you get told that the process would be easier if I paid for Coupa, why should I have to pay in order to get paid?!? This whole system is beyond a joke, and it looks so unprofessional! Avoid!! Seriously not worth the time or money!!!
I've honestly spent more time trying to sort this out, than I spent on the actual job I'm trying to get paid for.
This whole system is a joke and it may now lead to my invoice payment being delay. Ultimately, if the company continue to use Coupa, I will no longer do business with them, and I'll make sure others avoid it too.

Apparently my company never read any of these reviews before deciding on Coupa. I am an end user and my experience has been short but painful. I think it is a combination of Coupa and our IT department unwillingness to support the end user. Coupa is very slow to respond. Old AP software support responded in hours. Coupa takes days. Plus our IT can only point to the manuals which leads me to believe that our IT was never well trained by Coupa. Certainly more difficult than our old software but Coupa does have cute little icons like trucks. Almost 2 weeks and I still don't know if my first invoice to be paid is actually processed. In the real world my 3 questions would have been answered in 10 minutes and I could be up and running. But, alas, in the Coupa/remote world I turn on my computer each morning just hoping for email or zoom that will answer my questions. Hasn't happened yet. Hopefully things will improve.
Really poor on-line help advise
Really poor on-line help advise. Now have an account locked out for connections requests for 30 days, and there is nothing they can do! It was due to their advise! Also, they are unable to do a simple thing as update my email address without me having to contact all my customers and get them all at once to simultaneously change their ends and send new connection requests. Absolutely stupid!
