Questionable hospital reviews!

Reading the Care quality commission reviews of New Cross Hospital regarding A&E services. You give it a "Good" rating. First time we have had to use it and it's shocking. Friday evening and up to yet, a 14 hour wait! How in the 21st century can you call this good!!!!!!

CQC SENIOR LEADERSHIP ACT TO COVER-UP FAILURE - PLACING PATIENTS AT RISK OF HARM

The senior executive team of the CQC & their heads of Governance & Legal Services dept., are corrupt, fail to perform their duty, act to cover-up failure and criminal wrongdoing, obstruct complainants, and to be accountable or open to scrutiny.
After extensive 18 month investigation and 3 months raising unprecedented criminal prosecutions, senior Inspectors & Head of Hospital Inspection were obstructed - just the day before the case was due at their criminal prosecutions panel - intentionally misdirected by their own hierarchy with irrelevance. Their senior executives & Governance & Legal Services Head, then denied Inspectors had acted to raise criminal prosecutions against the senior staff at a leading acute major trauma centre and misled the police in homicide inquiry.
The CQC is simply unfit for purpose, their reputation stinks and we have alleged their leadership has committed criminal offences.

Tim Weller currently holds the position…

Tim Weller currently holds the position of Head of Integrated Quality Service at Norfolk County Council. Prior to this, he was employed as an inspector for the CQC, where he allegedly made life exceedingly difficult for certain providers that he inspected. Weller is accused of abusing his power while in public office by cautioning licensed providers who worked with the CQC. He appeared to present himself as a police officer, even though he was only an inspector for the CQC, and tried to shut down providers without any legitimate reason. His behavior was so egregious that during a tribunal, he was unable to answer certain questions posed to him by the judge. Weller's actions were an attempt to destroy a provider for no apparent reason, and he gave caution to certain parties in the same manner that a police officer would give caution to a criminal. His conduct was disgraceful, and it is alarming that he is now employed at Norfolk County Council. It is essential to bring attention to Weller's conduct in the interest of transparency and to expose CQC employees who have misused their power in public office by bullying and attempting to destroy providers for personal reasons. This includes providers such as NHS, private hospitals, nursing homes, among others.

Once again

Once again, the CQC has been exposed for their shoddy treatment of people working within the National Health Service and private sector. The CQC has once again abused their power, as demonstrated in a breaking news BBC investigation which is listed below. The CQC CEO, Ian Trenlong, should resign because he is the person in control of inspectors. The company, CQC Investigations LTF, has a great deal of evidence regarding the CQC's abuse of power, agendas to put providers out of business because they don't like them. Every MP in the country, plus the last four PMs, the BBC, the Daily Mail, and the Health Secretary, has been sent copies of this evidence. It is time the government stepped in and regulated the regulator. For further information, please contact 0121 821 2200.

Useless the CQC doesn't do anything you put in a complaint and they do nothing my local hospital is denying patients food and liquids and sedating them and waiting for the patient to die illegally because this practice was abolished in 2014 but my local hospital has one of the largest death rates in the UK and this is why, but the CQC say oh well don't worry and then ignore all emails these people are getting money for doing nothing if people are dying at the hands of a Hospital or care home they don't care.

FAKE investigators

These FAKES really don't care about people dying unnecessarily due to gp incompetence, they get government money for covering up.
They ALL need sacking as they DO NOT EXERCISE THE DUTY OF CARE THEY HAVE TO ALL NHS PATIENTS.

Inefficient and ineffective.

My review is over many years. I submitted several complaints about various organisations I came into contact with - this was a small minority. The points I made were carefully researched and evidenced. CQC takes little interest in what an individual presents them and assumes it is all "staff clashes". Short of finding someone being cared for killed in front of them, I think most CQC inspectors would pass most care environments as acceptable. I have no faith in them whatsoever and think they should be replaced by a special group of investigators with journalistic training who join organisations as "carers". In my experience, this is the only way the public get to know of bad care.

From my experience The CQC ignore…

From my experience The CQC ignore negative issues, and only really focus on securing a positive point of view, from a few patients that may have accidentally been aided. After digging a little deeper I found that the CQC inspectors are, in the instances, which I found, actually reporting directly back to the organisations that they are ment to be investigating. Truly Awful, Avoid.

Improve the way you inspect nursing…I'm so disappointed

Improve the way you inspect nursing homes and care homes. The legal ratio of care staff in care home or nursing home is of 1.65 for every resident. Then how come there's care homes operating with just one member of staff for more then ten residents?!
Please be more rigorous when carrying your inspections!

Not fit for purpose

I wouldn’t let the CQC look after my cat let alone be responsible for the well being of vulnerable people - The inspectors haven’t a clue -
They allow neglect and abuse to continue - we all must speak up !
They need regulating themselves - i’d be up for that job any time !
Please i urge us all to write to the government with our examples Time to lift the lid !!

The CQC are abusing they're power under the freedom of information act, they are not releasing any details of corrupt inspectors and inspectors that have agendas against providers

To the parties that have posted negative reviews about the CQC, we would be interested in speaking to you because we are investigating the care quality commissions bully-boy behaviour.
In particular a number of their inspectors and the CQC's CEO Ian Trenholm
We are a company called CQC Investigations Ltd and we have collated substantial bundles of negative publicity about the CQC.
We have reported the CQC to every MP in the country, the Prime Minister, the BBC, every media outlet in the Uk.
We have had a substantial response from a number of MP'S because the CQC's chairman was being grilled by the BBC approximately 2-3 weeks ago.
we believe that a number of inspectors are putting patients lives at risk by bully-boy tactics in the NHS and private hospitals.
The CQC also use they're various powers to try to remove providers registrations, in the hope the providers cannot pay they're legal bills and will go out of business.
Please contact us by e-mail.
we hope you will respond, if you have any information on inspector Tim wells or Stella franklin, please comminute them to us

CQC is appalling

CQC is appalling. It failed to investigate or obtain any evidence from me , in my case . The Head of the CQC has failed to respond to any emails I sent ever in a serious complaint . Speaks volumes . I would not trust anything the CQC stated or did. A complete waste of time . I do not think it is fit for purpose. I could give it no stars I would. 100% bad rating says it all

Made a complaint, but no response

Made a complaint about my fathers treatment relating to a number of poor health services in Northamptonshire.

Just ignored by the CQC.

Pretty concerning as a Health Care Professional raising concern’s about clinical practice and the CQC is failing to respond or act.

CQC not impartial and does not support the family

When my mother had a fall in a care home the CQC made a bad situation much worse in their collusion with a service they had rated outstanding. It was not outstanding. This fall led directly to my mothers death. The home was negligent, defensive and threatening. The fall happened within 3 hours of my mother moving in. We weren’t allowed in because of COVID. We brought her home to die as a result of this fall.
Our distress was compounded by turning to the CQC for help. The care home owner was given my whole case against them by the CQC who, rather than investigate discreetly, forwarded my confidential complaint lock, stock and barrel to the care home owner without my knowledge or permission. The owner lodged my report with his solicitor and sent me emails threatening legal action. I complained about this clear data breach but the CQC just closed ranks and lied/ fudged to say I had given permission. Why would I do this? I’m not stupid although it felt like they were. It made everything so much more distressing. The CQC complaints dept acknowledged no responsibility and told me I can contact my MP to appeal to the Parliamentary Ombudsman. Another rabbit hole. All I wanted was for them to apologise for what they obviously did wrong. It is so re-traumatising to complain. I can’t take the fight any further. I don’t think the CQC is either neutral or on the side of the family. In my case they cared more about the care home with which they had a pre-existing relationship. They failed to behave professionally and they caused a lot of hurt.

Irresponsible

As others have said, the CQC is a waste of time and public money. Did you know GPs, Dentists, Care Homes etc are charged by the CQC? So any NHS funded care organization has to spend some of its public money on obtaining a meaningless rating. Crazy. The CQC has just reinspected my GP surgery and has rated them "good" in every category even though you can wait 1 - 2 hours to get through and are unable to order meds online because their system is always temporarily unavailable. The CQC note these problems and the very many negative online reviews yet presumably consider patients are not put at risk . These are longstanding problems. There has been no improvement. Complaining over the course of a year has done nothing and they - including the CEO personally - have told me they will now ignore any further complaints I make. Frankly believe this to be irresponsible. Ratings based on my experience are utterly meaningless.
