I placed this order specifically for Easter, and the items were meant to arrive before it. On the scheduled delivery day, I received no update, no warning, and no communication of any kind. Only after I called was I told that the delivery was actually planned for the following Saturday — i.e. after Easter, when at least one of the items is completely pointless.

The explanation I was given was that because I ordered multiple items, I had not selected the option to have them delivered together. That option was certainly not made clear during the ordering process. But even setting that aside, what kind of system allows Easter items to be scheduled for delivery after Easter without flagging that this might be absurd?

What really turned this into a terrible experience, however, was the customer service. Instead of receiving even a basic apology, I was spoken to in a patronising and dismissive tone and told repeatedly — several times — that I should have selected the right option, as though the entire issue was simply my fault. No ownership, no empathy, no attempt to be helpful. Just a smug repetition of the same line.

Delays and ordering problems can happen. What is much harder to excuse is customer service that manages to be both useless and insulting.

A genuinely awful experience, made far worse by the attitude of the person handling it.

Paid upstairs for home items - stood at till no queue the lady at till on phone . Waited for her to finish and look up . Went to garden area upstairs lady at till on phone.
Went to get cake no staff member at all. Went opposite to get one of the girls - 3 standing there and one on mobile phone!
Wow wish I got paid to use my mobile phone at work . High end shop and products , today no customer service .
Can’t be bothered to come back .

Excellent website lovely gift

I recently discovered Daylesford Organic online and purchased some food products and they were delivered perfectly packaged and were delicious. I was able to visit Daylesford Organic Shop and Garden room recently when I found that they do events and myself and husband booked and attended a conversation given by Sarah Raven and Jez Taylor Daylesford's head Gardener. We enjoyed exploring Daylesford beautiful and thoughtful Shops before the event in the evening. Had the most special and memorable day and look forward to visiting again soon. In the meantime I can order Daylesford online.

Excellent products came in nicely packed but the order was delivered one day late which ruined the special day celebrations.

Product looks nothing like what I purchased on the website. Unfortunately, I have already been sent one replacement with the same issue. Clearly an issue with the imagery but still disappointing and not what you expect from Daylesford.

It all looks lovely, ordered the family meat option, £72. A whole chicken, breasts, sausages, mince, eggs, chops etc. It arrived, cold still and in insulating packaging. Sadly one of the eggs broke but what did I expect? The main reason I've brought from them is that they have their own slaughter house, so animals are stunned and also the meat is organic.

The contents of the gift were excellent . It was a gift for a couple celebrating their 60th Wedding Anniversary . They were delighted.
It arrived exactly when it was promised.

The organic soups are always delicious- very pure. I have just had a total hip replacement and they are excellent for lunch every day

Prompt delivery of high quality chocolate, wild bird modelled easter eggs that are a really nice Easter gift. Packaging was biodegradable and high quality keeping chilled products properly cold.

WE used to live down the road from Daylesford for many years and Saturday morning breakfast was a usual stop for unfortunately we have relocated to Yorkshire and miss the atmosphere created by you. Staff. Having used your online ordering system found the quality of goods and service typical of what both my wife and come to expect from Daylesford thank you and well done. When in the Cotswolds again i am sure we will pay you a visit.

Your products are gorgeous. I was excited to receive the £40 mystery box as I know they aren’t always available. Although it was full of nice things like chocolate, iced lattes, and other sweet things plus lovely soups and fruit/nut mixes, it didn’t feel like the best value. I would have liked to see more veg and possibly some dairy or meat in there also. Probably won’t go for mystery box again but will buy your other stuff. Your discovery box is much better value
