Took advantage of the fact that I didn’t know about the costs of website production and aggressively upsold me on every phone call. I ended the project and cut my ties because I told him I could no longer spend more than $2000. He did not respect this, and he continue to call and request meetings with me and then tell me that I should not worry about money and it would not be a factor… Suddenly, he’s telling me that his supervisor is requiring me to buy all these things such as social, social media development, and content editing . Mike Murphy the supervisor made me feel so very pressured when I met with him regarding my Desire to stop the project because I could not spend any more money. It didn’t matter. He even tried to upsell me at that meeting. . Finally, a few weeks later, I realize I had spent $4100 that I do not have. I am a Mom with young kids I have $300 in my bank account right now. I am unemployed because I lost my job after my mother died.due to extended grieving. This website was aiming to create a platform for a horse therapy business to help children with emotional challenges. The business was to be named after my mom. After so many request just to partways with the company. They finally agreed to meet with me. They offered me a refund of $300. I didn’t understand why because we’re not even launching a website.for me . I just wanted to get away from them because they are So aggressive and pushy, and they would not stop with me. It was almost like harassment. Mike Murphy offered me $1200 at one point I think he felt bad after about an hour of negotiation on the phone and I believe I started crying however, the next morning he revoked his agreement and told me a bunch of reasons that didn’t even pertain to mesaid that it was out of his hands all he could do was $400 and that was “out of his hands” i

at the end of the day, I do not have a website for the business I created (my choice)?to honor my mother and octoweb is having a great time with $3700 of my very very hard earned money. It will take me all summer to earn that back I could’ve use that money to buy food for the kids perhaps take the kids on a little trip, I just enjoy my life a little now. I’m standing here looking at my cupboard realizing there’s very little food and the house will have to go up for sale because I cannot afford the mortgage $4000 may not be much to them but to me, it was my .only bit of savings to keep me going over the summer . I would not trust Mike Murphy , or David Johnson. How is it even legal to charge for social media content, creation, and a domain that is not even active or being used and I highly doubt it was even paid for because they could not give me a date that the payment was submitted they just didn’t want to refund the money and they were gonna do whatever they could to confuse me and make it sound complicated Trying to talk over my head . Trust them, give them my full respect and I believed everywhere that they said when he said I would not have to pay more money after $2000 but yet he continue to upsell me that was David Johnson. I would run very fast from this company. They seem nice. They seem competent, but they just care about one thing money , they do nor care one bit about the customer :

A Nightmare Experience with Digital Software Labs - THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. GOOD EXTORTIONISTS THOUGH. STAY AWAY.

Unfortunately, this isn't a real company.

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Digital Software Labs recently. My sister, a teacher, hired them with high hopes and excitement for a project empowering children to read which was so important to her, only to be charged for a website that doesn't exist, and scammed out of money on Venmo and Paypal (not a real bank or invoice).

Firstly, their communication was confusing. They chose to communicate over WhatsApp, Google Meets (with black screens), and were often vague and unhelpful. They were more interested in dodging questions than providing clear answers. As for the actual product, their mockup had inaccurate information, fake "reviews" from clients that hadn't used the designed website, and refused to make necessary changes when we asked to make it more honest, often demanding additional payments in the process.

To add insult to injury, when we finally asked for a refund, they offered $300, then $400, then $1200, citing vague expenses and complications like the $1500 for the domain (see "invoice" below). It became clear that they were trying to squeeze as much money out of my sister as possible, so I left them a negative review on Google. When we finally had a meeting to discuss a refund, they avoided any discussion with me, and said they would "call my sister back in 2 hours" after they discussed with "someone higher up", conveniently leaving me out of the call.

As a result, and as punishment, they returned back to their $400 offer.

In conclusion, Digital Software Labs is a total SCAM and a prime example of everything that's wrong with finding people to do work on the internet. They are unreliable, unprofessional, and downright dishonest. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of them at all costs. There are plenty of other reputable companies out there who actually care about their clients and deliver on their promises.

We have reported them to the Better Business Bureau, the police, fraud agencies, and Thumbtack where we found these guys to do work.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FAKE COMPANY.

I have lost faith in humanity...

My website was gorgeous!! It was interactive and eye-catching. I wound up not launching my company so I did not use the website. Mike Murphy and David Johnson helped to come to an agreeable amount to settle on. They were understanding that people change plans in life and were sensitive to my circumstances.

SAD SAD EDIT - unfortunately they decided to go back on their word of refunding me $1200. So many of the services were never even completed. I am paying for a domain address that doesn't even exist. I am a teacher who lives paycheck to paycheck and I had gathered just enough money to start a therapeutic horse learning program called "Horse Powered Reading" I saw the $300 website design advertisement on their webpage and all of the certifications with BBB and TP that they had I trusted them. As soon as I said that I would like to go ahead with the project David began calling me many times during the work day and although he was polite, all of the calls were not necessary and a bit rude. I would be teaching children and he would call perhaps 3 - 4 times. Finally, when I could I would respond , only to be in yet another long meeting where he needed more money. As soon as they realized I didn't know what was doing (tech talk-wise) they began talking and spitting out numbers of all the prices. I was told to write them down bit by bit. (wouldn't that be his job to create an invoice?)When we finally got to the bill being $2000 I told him that I could not proceed and that it was too much. He didn't seem to understand why I couldn't pay any more money so I stopped talking with the company. Of course, David continued to contact me day and night and say things like..."Don't worry about money yet" and then somehow every time I was on the phone with him (way too many times than needed as he went over the same things that he went over last time, he would mention something that HAD to be done, such as social media management, content editing... I have a family, a job, and a farm to take care of but I was spending hours on Zoom with David. I kept telling him I could not spend more, but he aggressively sold and literally, I felt like I could not hang up unless I went and found my purse. He took advantage of my ignorance and made me believe I had to pay for all of these extra services even when I didn't want to. He had no respect for my time or my wishes. His supervisor Mike Murphy offered to refund $1200 but then the next morning he changed his mind due to circumstances that do not even pertain to me. I was the client. He decided not to honor his promise to refund $1200 because of outside influences. What happened to the client being the most important, not other people? Yes, my sister was upset. But you did business with me, not her. I am sad that I have to write this review. I gave this company 100% trust. I believed in what they said (no more spent than $2000) and was not prepared for the aggressive upselling that occurred during every Zoom call. I have lost trust in your company. You are not who you said you were. Sad, broke ex - customer, literally can not afford to buy my son and daughter any other food except for ramen noodles. That $4000 was supposed to be my means to survival over the summer .. its July 23 we are only halfway through summer and I can not afford to buy groceries, gas, or pay my mortgage. This hurts Digital Software Labs.

Edit/ I just got your reply from what happened in July and if you are willing to talk about a refund, I would be so so happy I feel like I got in a situation with a website. I didn’t even use. I didn’t even have anything to show for $4000 that I spend and, if something could be worked out that would just help me feel that your company is good business ethics, and I would absolutely reverse this nasty comment

So I believe that they wrote this comment that they were going to resolve things just to look good because they have ghosted me. I contacted them a few times to see if I could follow up with their nice reply and I have been ghosted so that’s how they operate.

Overall my experience of Digital…

Overall my experience of Digital Software Labs was good as they produced a top quality design to my Sports Therapy website promptly & professionally.

Cons - the only reason I didn't award a 5* review was due to some annoying upselling & the prices provided were high to start with then they drastically reduce the cost. My advice is be firm with them and stick to your budget.

What a waste of time

- Don’t go for this people or to this company as they don’t care to meet the deadline!
- The worst customer service always not honest with the customers.
- After failed to meet the deadline to complete Customs website on the agreed time frame, I managed to have back my full refund.
- My advice to you guys please avoid this company at all costs!
- Never trust Arnold, Ethan Chase and Sam Peres.
- I will never go to these people again in my life time!!
