SCAM, you think you are requesting a change of details on DVLA's website and instead you are paying them more than it would have been on DVLA. On top of everything you are unknowingly signing up to a nonsense membership and you will only find out once a 2nd payment gets charged. TOTAL SCAM. If there's anyone else taking it further, please let's put our forces together to get them prosecuted.

I sent out for a replacement licence in September 2024 using this website following a google search, thinking the £39 processing fee, whilst high, was a one off payment. Now i realise the DVLA charge nothing to have your licence replaced, so please do not use this terrible extortionate service and use the DVLA official website! It turns out that the £39 charge by Drivers Help was not a "one off" but in fact a "monthly subscription" (unclear from the website) and to my horror, I was notified by my bank that the company was charging me the same sum on my credit card the next month (October 2024). I cancelled the same day with "immediate effect" - via the website (which also makes it difficult to cancel - for a consumer) and received an email confirmation from Drivers Help on the same day, also having telephoned them to confirm no further payments would be made. However, the company still charged me the October subscription 2 days after I cancelled the subscription, despite having acknowledged to me via email and verbally in the call that my subscription was cancelled with immediate effect 2 days before. I had to call my bank to cancel my credit card following my bank's advice that they may continue to do this. This is in breach of contract and evidence that Drivers help is a highly unethical business. Avoid paying them anything at all costs. The legal name of the company is Defined Media Ltd.

Absolute rip off. Do not use! Charged £39 to change my address then charged me another £39 the dmfollowing month!!

It’s a £14 one off payment to Gov. Uk to update your licence, not £39 a month every month as these scammers take from you. Avoid.

Like many others, I found this company via a Google search for the DVLA when trying to change the address on my driving licence. This site is deliberately misleading people. I gave them my card number for a ONE-OFF charge, but they kept charging EVERY month for the last year! My CC company is sending me a replacement card, but I have found my email address is being traded on the dark web. I'm getting 50 or more Phishing/Spam emails every day, it's really frightening; they have my name, postal address, and date of birth. It is very suspicious that the spam began just after I signed up with this company. PLEASE BEWARE!

Scam!! Renewed address via DVLA, received new card. One off payment, thought nothing of it. Only to realise this company are taking out a monthly subscription!!! Disputing with my credit card company now as do not want to deal with these scammers

Good service but a bit expensive if you ask me. They did help me find cheaper tyres and got my log book sorted fast tho. Not sure about the value yet, we'll see 🤷‍♂️.

DO NOT USE THIS SITE!!!!. They con you into a subscription… I stupidly paid for them to update my address on my and my husbands driving license, unaware till now that this is a free service when you apply directly to the DVLA . I was charged £39 per licence .
Not thinking much of it until a month later another 2 lots of £39 had been taken from my account . It appears that I have agreed unknowingly to a subscription for their services ?? I did not request any services or have not received any services from them nor did I want to use their mysterious services . It is a scam site which needs to be stopped . I have informed my bank of this corruption and cancelled my bank card since I discovered this . I would hate anyone else to be duped in this way . Although I see quite a few others have been conned too .

I've been usin' Drivers-help for a bit now, and honestly, it's been way easier than I thought. At first, I wasn't sure if I even needed somethink like this, but turns out, it's made things soooo much smoother. I'm talkin' reniwin' my licence, keepin' track of MOTs, and even finding the cheapest petrol. Didn't even know I needed all that in one place 'till I had it.

One time, I messed up my address on my driver's records, and I thought I'd have to jump through hoops to fix it. But nah, I just went on the platform, updated it in like 5 mins, and boom-done. No stress, no hassle. It's honestly a lifesaver, expecially when you don't wanna deal with gove websites.

So yeah, I was kinda skeptical at first, but now I'm like, why did'nt I do this sooner? For the price, it's been well worth it, especially with all the stuff you get. Plus, if somethin' goes wrong, you can just cancel, but honestly, I doubt I'd even wanna. It's just been that useful

I don't even know how I renewed my license through these guys. Like a few other people on here also. They have been taking £39 per month from me since. My bank have refunded the monies and are investigating them. They are thieves

I didn't realise just how many features this service actually offered until I signed up, and that's what frustrates me a bit. Honestly, they should do a better job of advertising the full range of what's included because, going into it, I was only aware of the basic services, like licence renewal and maybe a few reminders here and there. It turns out, they have a lot more useful tools for drivers that I had no idea about. For instance, there are features to track petrol prices, options for managing your vehicle's valuation, and even tools for keeping on top of your MOT's and servicing - things that would have definitely influenced my decision get less angry if I'd known about them. I only discovered these extra services after using the platform for a bit and exploring more. My mate actually recommended this service because he found the petrol savings feature really handy, but I was still a bit skeptical at first, given that I had limited knowledge about what I was getting. This is the frustrating bit.

I'm willing to give the service a proper chance now, especially since I've relalised there's more to it than just licence renewals. I'm interested to see how the other features can benefit me, particularly the reminders and easy access to vehicle-related services. However, I'm still cautious. If things don't end up working out as expected or if I find that I'm not really using these extra tools as much as I'd like, then I'll probably just cancel my membership and move on.
Fortunately, they've made cancelling quite simple-it's something that can be easily done within the member's area without needing to jump trhough hoops or contact customer support, which gives me peace of mind. Worst case scenario, if it's not for me, cancelling won't be a hassle. But for now, I'm giving it a try with an open mind.
