I bought an Ebac washing machine 5 years ago and it has never broken down until now, but Gareth , an Ebac engineer has repaired it for me under its guarantee, and I am very pleased with both the washing machine and Ebacs service. They have been excellent.

Bought an Ebac washer in December 2021 (not a cheap machine) right from the start we were dissatisfied with its performance. Supposed to be 8kg capacity as our previous machine but could only handle half the load and couldn’t handle more than two towels or anything big. Spinning cycle kept stalling and had problems with leaks. Started leaking again today so ordered an LG. Can’t be bothered to get this one fixed even though it’s still under warranty. Wash cycles were also ridiculously long. Don’t bother buying this you will be disappointed.

We bought EBac washing machine as it states made in uk which we wanted to support.
Unfortunately machine wasn’t fit for purpose . Spin & leak issues .
Eventually last fix got partial refund with now no guarantee on washing machine just a month later another leak from underneath. Informed EBac clearly we were on our own so a new
Samsung washing machine ordered ! Such a shame 😳

Purchased 8kg AWM86D2H-WH hot and cold fill washing machine and in the two months we have had it, I have nothing but praise for its quality and build, the controls are easy to use and the wash options are more than I need, i like the option to choose your own spin speed and wash temperature on certain programmes, a bonus being the drum clean.
The machine works quieter than any machine before, and when on high spin it remains stable.

ArrowXL failed to deliver a washing machine on two occasions. I requested assistance from Ebac but they really couldn’t have cared less. I gave up in disgust and requested a refund.
I wish I had read the poor reviews on here before contacting them originally.

A very good washing machine.

We have a ebac washing machine and like many on these reviews we dicided to do the right thing and buy british . What a mistake , the first machine we had was totally useless at spinning and the clothes came out literally dripping . After 3 engineer visits ebac agreed to replace the machine with a new one . This did work for a while and then we started having issues with the spin cycle again , having to re- spin around 75% of washes . To be fair to ebac they have sent an engineer out every time we have experienced problem and done their best to sort the machine out . I feel the machine has been over engineered and cannot deal with an unbalanced load . They need to get this sorted or their reputation will be gone . In all other respects it is a very good machine , easy to use and washes clothes very well . Just a shame about the issues spinning

I bought a ebac dehumidifier a few years ago to deal with damp. I only use it for a couple of months in the winter, nevertheless it only lasted 3 years before packing up. I like to buy British but when the product is as poor as this I now wish I had bought a better quality product.

8kg Cold feed 1600spin

Put up with this washer for 2 years. 3 engineer visits - 2 of those it had leaked and flooded the room. Washing stank despite several cleaning cycles using expensive cleaners. Just buy something else. We’re hundreds out of pocket as we had to buy another machine

I’ve had many machines over the years and think this is the worst one yet. The spin is useless, when the cycle has ended, I have to select spin and do it again. When I spoke to customer service they said it’s because the machine was overloaded or not balanced etc etc( so my fault apparently) but when I switch to spin, it miraculously spins, so not overloaded or unbalanced. Don’t get the explanation from CS at all. Never buying one again and would never recommend this washing machine. Buyer beware. Waiting for it to break and be out of warranty so I can replace it. It’s about 3 years old now.

Thought I was doing the right thing by buying British but in fact you’re buying a far inferior product for way too much money! Wish I’d just bought a Meaco, similar specs but way way better and cheaper!

Decided to give Ebac a go after reading good reviews on them elsewhere. 6 months later we have a bad leak from the bottom of the machine and are so far waiting to hear back from customer service to get someone to look at it. We are told they try to reply in 4 days but at the moment they are very busy so it may take longer (I wonder why!). As others have mentioned the spin function is also very poor and always has been. We have been told that this is deliberate if the load is unbalanced but have never had such a useless machine at spinning, no matter the load. In addition, we bought a dehumidifier at the same time and within a few months the “full sensor” has stopped working on it.

We really wanted to support a British company but have so far been very disappointed. Buyer beware.

You have to ring and get told they will chase it up with the engineer !!
Bought washer 5 years ago was leaking water from day 1 , engineer can to investigate, was told problem is with the drain pipe in the house . I replaced still same issue !! Every time turned on washer would pup towel down to soak water . Changed kitchen now same problem brand new drain , leaked and water damaged kitchen units , reported over a week ago engineer visited Monday called today , only to be asked what I’m calling for . Do not recommend

We bought the 8kg cold fill washing machine and we're really pleased to have a quality, British made product. The long guarantee was important to us and we were very happy with the delivery too.

The washing machine had a leak underneath and the comfort was not dispersing from the drawer. We contacted the company and they stated that they would get an engineer to contact us. We got a phone call off the engineer called Maff he was very pleasant on the phone and arranged a date to visit. On the day he was running late due to a previous problem but kept us updated. He came out in unsociable hours in order not to let us down. He repaired the leak and then came out the Saturday after to sort out the comfort drawer he was cheerful, chatty and a lovely human. We were exceptionally pleased with the service.

2nd attempt at writing an honest review as my first attempt was blocked. We are on our 5th repair engineer's visit for a 2 year old 10kg washing machine. This will be for the 2nd leak from under the machine, just after we laid our new flooring in our utility room. As is a recurring theme in these reviews, we have not been at all happy with the machine as it just hates spinning. We have spent literally hours in front of it adding and removing things from the drum to get it to spin, it's totally useless. Even when it does spin it never gets upto to the stated 1600rpm. Ebac won't refund us so we can get a decent machine, they just keep sending an engineer. Please read all the bad reviews before committing.

Having spent far to long looking for a dehumidifier we settled with EBAC and wanted to buy British. We watched all the videos and choose the EBAC 4000 although i think the number was different but still in the 4000 series model which had Smart Control where you can download an App to control the machine. Dont bother as information differs from what was displayed on the machines control panel. It did collect water and we thought all was working well. We had some issues and EBAC customer service advised accordingly, but when one day the machine wouldnt turn off after reaching set percentage of humidity and the App said the water tank is full but the machine control panel said it wasnt and there was no water in the tank and no water had been collected, reading online help that the sensor may be faulty we eventually turned the thing off. There is a lot more to say here about the smart control version experince and to be honest if you want to be in control i would recomend a different non smart control model. Eventually the machine was returned and a refund has been issued. I do not recommend the EBAC 4000.

Update the Customer service is excellent. They had agreed to change the washing machine and then after more problems in line with consumer law had agreed to collect the washing machine. If only they had modified the drain pump the machine would have been geat. Every time is experience a small start of a blockage in the pump filter it went extreamly noisy.

8kg washing machine is terrible. Like so many people further down these reviews, we've found that it's so temperamental on spin that it's virtually useless. We had an LG for a decade prior to this without problem, doing the same sort of washing but decided to buy British when we needed to renew: I really wish we'd stuck to LG. Our Ebac really is a dreadful piece of over-engineered scrap and you would be better thinking again if you were considering buying one.

My 18 month old washing machine broke, i phoned Ebac on Monday and an engineer arrived to fix is on the Tuesday. A very efficient service
