Good for the environment as it's repairable and made in the UK, quiet, and the fact it's dual fill works well for me since we have communal hot water -- it also makes it quicker. Occasionally, it... Ver más

I would not recommend a washing machine from this company. I bought it to support British Engineering and a shorter delivery route/less pollution for transport from Asia. We’ve had the warrantee Repai... Ver más
The spin function is useless. Most washes need 2 to 3 different programs to get clothes that are not dripping wet. Costing me a fortune in electricity and time. Don’t buy!

Quiet Fast And Built To Last
Quiet Fast And Built To Last - Huge Disappointment - Ebac E-Care+ AWM86D2H-WH
“Understand your customers and then engineer innovative products which meet their needs better than anyone else in the market”.
“We chose to use the best components to ensure our Washing Machine will last. From our Inverter Driven Motor to Plasma Welded Drum, we carried out intensive endurance and performance tests in order to meet the highest standards. With over 100,000 hours of testing, we are confident our machine will stand the test of time”.
These very words resonated!
Delivered after almost a week yesterday 11/07/19, to support a British manufacturing Company this Ebac E-care AWM86D2H-WH was plugged in and promptly triggered the RCD to our property. We tried several alternative power points but the issue persisted.
Yes, things sometimes go wrong, and companies that fundamentally understand how to satisfy their customers when this happens, do well. Ebac fails in this.
On asking Customer Services what can be done to resolve the problem, the answer, the machine can be replaced in seven days time, which is of no help. That’s two weeks without the convenience of a working machine. On asking what can be done to improve this nothing. On requesting what could be done to keep us as customers to go the extra mile, sorry nothing.
So all this boring negative stuff will now be communicated.
This review is regrettably sad because if a company really truly wishes to keep customers by projecting the finest reputation, it comes down to customer satisfaction, which we have not experienced right from switching on.
And this is why despite Ebac’s CEO’s wonderful descriptives, his very limited customer support mirrors the actual quality of this product.
Tomorrow morning AO is delivering an LG equivalent machine at £150 less than Ebac, with 7 years parts and labour warranty.
The Ebac was originally purchased to replace a 15 year old LG machine which finally failed, parts no longer available. Ebac’s British marketing hype swayed the decision in our case, a wrong one.
Would it have been such a deal to go the extra mile to keep a customer? Well, for Ebac no, and it comes from the top!
Meanwhile we're inconvienced for a week with the faulty Ebac, it can't be collected sooner because Ebac's courier isn't unavailable until then.
Wonderful.
I hate this washing machine
I hate this washing machine - an 8kg, 1600 spin, cold fill model.
The programmes rarely run to the time indicated when you press start - they invariably take longer which is very inconvenient when you are waiting to go out and want to hang up the washing before you go - a not unreasonable requirement.
The 1600 spin speed is only available on the cotton programmes or spin only - why not on other programmes especially the quick wash?
These machines seem to be engineered for the esteem of the engineers and not the customers using the machine - programmes frequently end without spinning the clothes and then, when I set it to spin only without touching never mind redistributing the clothes, it spins them - but of course it takes another 20 mins to do this - grrrrr!
One time it will spin a load of 4 towels and the next time it will not spin the same load of the same towels using exactly the same programme. It is VERY frustrating.
When it works it gives a good quality wash, but it is not consistent.
Don’t buy this machine.
EBAC dehumidifier
Bought my first about 25 years ago. Operated faultlessly for 24 years but started to make a strange noise in the last year. Decided to buy a new EBAC 2250e in December 2016. Was amazed how much prices have fallen. New machine is well constructed, quiet and effective.
ebac dehumidifier
The dehumidifier arrived in good time, and worked for 5 days.
When attemting to register the serial number for this dehumidifier it appeared to be already registered.
I await developements and hopefully a "brand new" replacement.
Ebac Dehumidifier
Bought an Ebac about 6 years ago for £350; within a very few months it went back twice as it leaked and, on no less than three occasions before I finally abandoned it in disgust, had soaked through a carpet and underlay. However, hope always lingers. Against my better judgement, and because an unused bedroom smelt somewhat musty, I used it again where, throughout the night, it duly emptied copious amounts of water from the cassette into the carpet and underlay, the spread of which took 5 weeks to dry out, furniture et al having to be moved out of the way. Bearing in mind how expensive the dehumidifier had been, although never working properly from the outset, I felt aggrieved that a brand-new looking machine should just sit under wraps so wrote to John Elliott asking for advice - 'save it or dump it' - admitting I was aware of course that the machine was 6 years old, Receiving no response, I wrote again with the same result. Checking on the internet, I am now aware that responsibility of the company has passed elsewhere within the family, so assume my letter has, too, but no polite acknowledgment or response has come from anyone. By chance, In conversation with a friend, I found that she, too, had bought an Ebac which had gone back SIX times! She also gave up, cutting her expensive losses to abandon this shoddily and poorly produced machine, buying one for less than £70 from B&Q which works superbly. I can only assume Ebac hasn't much faith in its product in light of their obtuseness to address customer complaints from incept, even less continuing long-term ones! Their obvious hope must surely be that by ignoring customers long enough, they will finally capitulate and disappear. It is patently clear from my experience with the Ebac dehumidifier that it would not garner an iota of a recommendation from me, not even to my worst enemy.
Very poor quality!
I brought a Ebac 6200 dehumidifier from appliance direct in October. Its now 4 months later and still yet to have a working one. I think there has been around 5 replacements/repairs and a lot of phone calls and staying in for deliveries etc. It took nearly 4 weeks to get the first one replaced after getting shockingly bad customer service from both appliance direct and ebac. Each dehumidifier has had various different faults which leads me to think they haven't a clue how to make a reliable quality item? Even the courier drivers say they have picked up tons of these from unfortunate ppl. I asked for a refund several times but because of ebac's and appliance direct shockingly bad customer service it took nearly 4 weeks to get a replacement which then meant it was out the 28 day money back guarantee which I think they played to the tee and obviously done loads of times before.
