Ordered Emma Ruffle Pleated Maxi Dress back on June 6th, and I have still yet to receive my dress. It has been almost 7 weeks at this point. I have reached out to customer service who were no help, claiming that there were "courier issues" with the shipment but could not give me any further details, nor compensation for my wasted money. I ordered this dress for an upcoming holiday which I thought I'd given enough time (again, 7 weeks ago!). However, my holiday starts tomorrow and no sign of the dress and the tracking still says "info received June 6th". Incredibly disappointed not only in the business but myself for thinking this wasn't just another scam website. At this point, I'm expecting to never receive my order.

Any positive reviews have to be fake. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They claim to be based in Australia but their products ship from China. I reached out to them prior to placing an order to confirm the quality of the product. They lied to me. When my package finally arrived, I was missing one item and the other item was improperly described. When I reached out, they pointed me to their refund policy. I explained that would make sense had I not been misadvised by them and lacking one entire item. I have gone back and forth with them for months. They've told me multiple I would get a refund which I have yet to receive. They no longer reply to me and when I reached out to the bank about the fraudulent charge I placed with them, they told me the company said I received all of my items and there were no issues. SCAM. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS TRASH COMPANY.

I ordered a dress from "Emelia The Label" and contacted the company the day after it arrived to report that the item was faulty. The dress was poorly made, with the neckline sewn in a way that exposed the inside facing—making it unwearable.
Despite their website clearly stating that a full refund is offered for faulty items (Items marked as FINAL SALE are not eligible for return unless deemed faulty), I was only offered a store credit. After reminding them of their own policy, I was then offered a 20% refund, which later increased to 30%—still not in line with their advertised commitment.
This experience has been frustrating and disappointing, particularly given that their warehouse is based in China, which may explain some of the quality and customer service challenges.
I would urge other shoppers who experience similar issues to report them to the ACCC - As I have. Businesses must be held accountable for misleading refund practices and for failing to uphold consumer rights.

Quality of the dress was so cheap..did not look like the reference picture at all. Went to return and could only return for store credit and had to cover shipping costs myself (back to China, so intl. shipping). Not worth it..do not shop here.

Do not order from this company. They send the completely wrong item, thats so cheap and has no tag. They then claim to have refund issues and keep your money. ITS A SCAM

I ordered the Emma Ruffle Maxi Dress from Emelia The Label on May 15th. It was supposed to arrive early to mid-June and ship from Australia, but it never shipped and is actually coming from China. Very misleading and still no resolution or refund.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Do not order from this company - they are a Chinese based company that steal designs from other brands and then make a cheap version that they then take over a month to deliver to you. Avoid at all costs.

I purchased a suede coat through Emelia the label. It took around a month to arrive even though it said I was ordering from Australia. The coat was well made, but the material is absolutely disgusting and nothing like what was pictured. I spoke to customer service, they only offered me and store credit or exchange, useless to me as I would never purchase anything from them ever again and would never recommend their store. So now I am the not-so-proud owner of the worlds ugliest coat...I would have given zero stars if that were an option

This company is based in China, not Australia.
It took four weeks to deliver to the UK despite the website saying 3 - 5 days. They say they had a problem between their courier and supplier.
The dress is a cheap material with fraying in two places, all clearly visible. It does not look like the dress on the website and is obviously a copy of something much nicer. Their customer service have responded to me so far but I can guarantee that now it's delivered and I'm complaining about the quality I will hear nothing. I paid £50 for a dress that I could have made better myself!

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
They are scammers. You will not get the dress you see on their website. They will either not send you anything or they’ll send you a dress that looks nothing like the photo and is poor quality. Their refund policy is a joke. You will get $0 back!!
On their socials they claim to be in Australia - they’re not!

If you see a company with comments turned off on social media that should raise red flags. Unfortunately the product photos and dresses look so good.

I purchased two dresses in February! after 2 weeks I emailed asking the possible eta as I was packing for my honeymoon in may. Every 4 weeks I emailed asking what the go is. Mid April I messaged asking for a refund as it had been way too long and I was over trying to chase it up. They said they couldn’t refund as it was already shipped? But the tracker they gave me for the items said otherwise.

I had countless email threads with them which they would reply very late. In the end I disputed my transaction with commonwealth and got my money back.

End of June they emailed asking why I have requested a charge back considering I hadn’t received my items.

They also use other companies models/ photos for display. Don’t be fooled

I ordered 2 dresses, when I received both of them, they both looked completely different to the picture. Asked to return and after back and forth emails they concluded 30% refund. That was a month ago and still haven’t received the refund. Horrible company out for scamming.

THEY BRAND THEMSELVES AS HIGH QUALITY AND LUXURIOUS, BUT WHAT I RECEIVED DOESNT EVEN HAVE A BRAND LABEL ATTACHED, THE FABRIC IS CHEAP, STRETCHY AND SEE THROUGH, DRESS TOOK WEEKS TO ARRIVE. PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE AND DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE. THEY ARE OUT HERE SCAMMING PEOPLE BY CHARGING PREMIUM PRICES FOR LOW QUALITY, UNBRANDED ITEMS

My dress came at least 3-4 sizes up. I ordered an XS and it came as basically a size 12. I payed more for alterations than the actual dress. Very disappointing

The quality of the dresses are NOT as described; they are extremely poor and do not resemble the website. The sizing is not accurate either.
I highly recommend avoiding this label!!

My daughter bought a dress for an high school event which on the website said would take two weeks to get here. It took 4 weeks and the material was cheap with no labels and wrapped like it came from a market in China - which would be perfectly okay if she’d paid $10 for it. It looked nothing like the picture and cost her $100. After initial excellent communication from the company when I wanted to return it (which I did and sent a tracking number as specified) suddenly nothing. This seems to be everyone’s experience in Australia. Total scam.

The dress I ordered was not at all what it appeared to be online the fabric was so cheap and disgusting literally looked like a rubbish bag, I was expecting silk. Paid $150 for absolute TRASH so disappointed. AND. Can’t even try the dress on as there is no zip or anything such a scam

ABSOLUTE SCAM! Do not buy! Beware. After waiting 30 days for my dress, it said delivered and all that was delivered was the earrings. It is a complete scam - they do not offer refunds & do not care about your order never arriving.

Does not even deserve a 1 star . The dress i purchased is nothing like the one i received and now i have read that the return policy is also a scam . so disappointed . will never purchase or recommend this brand to anyone 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Dont worry, you'll get a dress - just not the one you ordered....
And then they'll tell you to keep it and offer you a 30% refund for YOUR troubles... and then, they'll tell you their refund system is broken.
AND then they'll block you and you'll never hear from them again and you'll never get a refund.
