I ordered a dress on the 5th of may for a wedding on the 21st of June. The fact that this dress was a pre-order was hidden by having the dress up as “on-sale” and by listing this in the product description and not in the title of the dress. The dress has been sitting in china since the 5th of June and it’s now 18th of June with the wedding in 3 days with nothing to wear. Thought I ordered this well ahead of time so I would not be in this position. Emailed multiple times along the way and they just kept saying it would be here soon and they would update me accordingly. Have never received an update. Will not order from them again. I have requested a refund and they say they are unable to cancel an order once it’s been placed.

My granddaughter bought a "Dahlia Hand-Beaded Backless Chiffon Maxi Dress" from Emelia the Label for $149.95 and unfortunately did not read the negative reviews on Trustpilot. What eventually turned up was a cheap knock-off that just had pictures of the beads on the fabric and several other advertised features missing. Rather than waste $30 sending it back to China and probably losing it I have agreed to settle for s $30 refund. So BEWARE - Emelia the Label is a SCAM!

Emelia The Label is a scam. They use photos of the branded dress they have copied as their own images on their website. When the item arrived it was completely different, cheap material, threading showing at the seams and even missing parts of the dress shown in their website photos (like the strap across the breast v neck cut, and different shoulder straps). Then to refund the item, I'd have to send it back to their China address which cost a lot for shipping ($20+). Don't know how they have been getting away with this for so long!

I wouldn’t even give them 1 star. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. The dresses are shipped from China and are clearly cheap and nasty materials. They also sent me a dress that was missing details (pearl back piece) but wanted to offer only a store credit or another item. The error was on the businesses part but they refused to offer a full refund

They send the wrong dress on purpose (SHEIN DRESS), and then apologise and ask you to send it back at your cost - $30+ - Read the returns policy, it specifically states "if the wrong dress is sent to you, you can return it at your own cost"
You return your dress (to CHINA not Perth as they state), and they send it back to you, saying it has been rejected as it has been worn and refund wont be given.

CHECK INSTA... ALL COMMENTS HAVE BEEN TURNED OFF FOR A REASON - all positive reviews here are fake and written by AI.

SCAM. A complete hoax. Do not buy anything from here. Will be taking them to fair trading.

DO NOT USE! This company is extremely unprofessional. I purchased a dress over a week ago, received shipping information and then was told the dress is out of stock. There only response to this was to chose a dress similar (which is in no way similar). When I purchased the dress all sizes were available. Over a week later I received an email saying they no longer have the dress. I would recommend finding a more thorough and respectable company so you are not left at last minute to find a dress for your event.

Absolutely atrocious. The dress that arrived looks nothing like the picture and my things took 3 months to arrive. In addition they are not responding to any of my emails. Worst company ever

Amelia The Label claim they are Australian owned & operated but in fact they ship out of China, don’t be fooled by their Instagram page. You place your order & you don’t receive any shipping advice unless you hound them. 2 weeks & still no estimated delivery date. Now I’ve Wena from Emelia the Label saying they have a strong legal team. Is that a threat. All I’m trying to do is buy a coat & I cop this. People are totally sick of these scammer sites. Never again!

Still waiting on my refund! It’s been two months and they asked for my tracking number which I sent a few days ago. The reason for the refund was because my dress came unfinished and not even the same colour. they approved my refund and I paid for tracking to get sent back and I never heard from them again. After numerous emails they asked for my tracking number. I sent it to them multiple times and never heard back from them. This place is a scam with horrible dresses would never recommend buying from them. Probably won’t ever see my money but I won’t stop trying.

I placed an order and still haven’t received my items or proper tracking information. After multiple follow-ups, I keep getting vague replies with no resolution. There’s been zero transparency, and I’m left chasing a simple belt order that should’ve arrived long ago.

Customer service has been friendly but ultimately unhelpful. If you value your time, money, and clear communication, I’d strongly reconsider before purchasing.

If i could give this company 0 stars, I would. Bulk delays (the dress was ordered on 01 Feb, arrived on 22 April) it was a "pre order item" but this was never specified on the website, terrible communication in emails, I sent back the order unopened, and now they are refusing to refund me and gift a credit instead as I 'refused the order'. I am still chasing the refund but it is unlikely.
Do not order with this company.

I’m writing this on behalf of my wife. Stay away from this scam of a brand at all costs! They’re fake, they advertise totally different dresses to what they ship and then refuse to return and refund the money. They even lie about the shipping time.

Don’t make the same mistake my wife made. Everyone should report to Fair trading and get the site shut down!

This company post photos that appear to be their own but must be taken from other websites. I ordered on the 9th of April and didn’t receive my package until over a month later. Upon receiving the package I was made aware that only one of the two items I had ordered were included in this package. I had ordered a blue maxi dress and a cream and black bikini. I received the bikini which had a brown stain across the front of the top, I still haven’t received the dress. I had contacted the company on several occasions about my dress they said it would be on its way and being shipped separately, taking long periods of time to reply between each email. Once I contacted them about the stain on my bikini they said they would ask me to pay for my return label to give them the product back and they would give me store credit to spend which I replied saying that’s no use as I will not be further paying to return damaged goods and then wait another month to receive more goods in god knows what condition.They then offered me a 20% refund, to which I replied with if that is the best you can do then I’ll have to accept although id like a full refund. They have not replied to this email, luckily I have raised a dispute with my bank about the matter and they have thankfully helped me get my money back. STAY AWAY!!!!!

If I could give this company a 0 I would! Disgusting customer service. I bought a dress and there was a hole in the sleeve. I have been trying to get someone to answer my emails and get a refund for close to five weeks, no one replies. When they did finally reply I agreed to an exchange as I at least got a reply and now no contact again. Disgusting customer service and brand. Do not buy from this business!

SCAM didn't receive the product, nor have I received a response to my numerous emails

Worst online store ever! The dress arrived and it did not match the quality of the photos-which I paid $160AUD for. Arranged for a refund and sent it back to their warehouse which was in China (paid $35). Communication was not on par, I purchased the dress in January 2025 and now its May 2025 and still nothing is resolved. My package is stuck at chinese customs which I have no way of contacting, they told me because it's my parcel I would need to contact them myself...
DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCAMMED

Super long to ship out almost two months. I requested to cancel order three days after ordering and they denied it. Still have not received product.

Ordered a dress on the 12th April 2025 for my baby shower. I spent $130.00 and it has still not even been shipped. I sent multiple emails and recieved no response.
