Shocking!!

Shocking!!! Do not buy from this company. Sent me fake shoes, terrible service, unwilling to help in anyway. Reporting to trading standards. Avoid!!!

Mistakes happen and it’s the resolution that’s important

To be fair FHW have offered a 10% discount which I have accepted. To acknowledge a mistake is refreshing and of course none of us are prefect.

Bought on line used my new address which my credit card is also registered to.
Goods went to my old address, finally spoke to customer care and it’s my fault apparently?

Unfortunately, due to a high volume of queries as mentioned on the contact form and in the automatic reply to your email, there was a delay in our response. By the time we processed your email, your order had already been dispatched. This is because soon after your order is placed, it immediately goes into the fulfilment process, and adjustments or cancellations may not be possible. I understand that our recommendation to ring our customer service number immediately may not have been clear, and for that, I apologise.

I understand how frustrating it must be to experience a delay in our response, especially after taking the proactive step to notify us promptly. Our team is dedicated to addressing customer concerns efficiently, but regrettably, the high volume of queries sometimes leads to delays in response times.

Disappointed

The delivery was quick but unfortunately one shoe was damaged. I emailed with pictures showing the damaged shoe but did not get a response. I have posted the shoes back, at a cost to me of £4.59 postage.
I then emailed customer support with a copy of the postage as I feel that I should not be out of pocket if the goods were faulty, I received a response saying it will take 14 days to process and a further 5-7 days to receive a refund for the shoes. No mention of sorry for the inconvenience or acknowledgement for the receipt of postage to be refunded as a goodwill gesture.

Thank you for your feedback, and I'm very sorry to hear about your experience. I understand how frustrating it must have been to receive a damaged shoe, and I apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.

Although it is advised to bear with us due to a high volume of queries, we did respond to your email the following day, but I understand if it felt like a long wait. Regarding the return postage for faulty items, our policy states that customers should contact us before returning any faulty items. This is so we can supply you with a free returns label.

As previously mentioned, we did reply to you the following day, but you had already returned your parcel at this point, so unfortunately, there was nothing we could do as we are unable to refund the return postage costs that you have paid for.

Although we are unable to refund your return postage costs, we have contacted you separately to try to make things right, so please look out for an email from us in your inbox.

We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

Superb company

Superb company! They had the Skechers trainers in the right sizes that I was searching for for my two daughters at a very competitive price. I ordered them on Monday afternoon and they have arrived on Wednesday afternoon. Shipping is fairly pricey although that’s probably out of their control. Overall I am very happy - thank you FH&W!

Refund process very slow

I have updated this review to fairly reflect that the customer service team have taken the time to resolve my issues.

I ordered three things including an item which was subsequently found to be out of stock locally- the money for this was not refunded to me for 12 working days post contact to inform me that the item was out of stock despite being assured it would reach me in 5-7 working days. This was obviously very frustrating (as was no fault of my own). However the money has now been refunded and I was satisfied with the other two items which had arrived promptly. Overall be aware money may be slow to be refunded but if this is not an issue for you then the rest of the service was fine.
