Better than the rest
It's easy to register but more importantly it's easier to cancel. Some sites require you to phone a number in order to cancel and this is not at all a satisfactory condition. However, this site is genuine and is easy to join and exit. Certainly have a wealth of material. Only quibble is that the detailed searches could provide better results. Sometimes when invited to put in a keyword it does not produce the required response. I found this out after eventually finding my ancestor (after throwing through hundreds of potential leads) whereas the correct 'keyword' produced nothing. In summary I think this site is better than most others

Find My Past
I used to subscribe but stopped due to cost and never finding any relevant records. Recently they offered a free 7 day trial so I decided to check them out again. Now I can upload my family tree (Gedcom-w/o media) and I found lots of records I hadn't previously seen. They provide detailed transcripts but I couldn't access the actual record.

Use of FMP
I don't use FMP much as I have few UK relatives and have exhausted searches amongst Irish records (and not just those on FMP). I will continue to monitor uploads to FMP and will rejoin when any new records look promising.

I really like this site
I really like this site, it’s easy to use and has a lot of records. I’ve had a membership on there a few times in the past but can only be on one site at a time due to cost. If it were cheaper I would definitely sign up again.

Free Irish Records Appreciation
I like being able to research Irish records from abroad. I appreciated the free trial. Too many Irish records need to be paid for. Unfortunately, I did not find any further records to add to what I already had. I have hit a roadblock when searching my paternal Bernard ancestors in Ireland.
