I wanted to send some flowers to Ballyshannon Donegal from Macclesfield and I looked at several sites - 2 of the others received mixed reviews and one sent a generic reply to every bad review and the other didn’t even reply - flowers direct responded to every one good or rarely bad individually - the service I received was perfect everything happened as they said it would and more importantly as I wanted it too and the flowers were gratefully received and I got a photo and they were beautiful - do not hesitate to use them it is rare to get such good service

Bought the peony rose in vase as a gift, with the automatic upgrade. What was delivered was a disgrace- a shabby arrangement with a few blooms flung together. Wrote to customer service sending them an image of the delivery and did not receive a response. Seems they only reply to public reviews.
No, I did not receive an email from Flowersdirect.ie that I can reply to.

Fast delivery came within an hour of ordering, the flowers were fresh, standing for about 2 weeks now, I ordered peony and they are beautiful, super happy. Definitely recommend, amazing gift for anyone:))

Ordered a peony bouquet and was really disappointed with the quality. I left a review, and the company reached out to offer me a voucher or replacement. I chose a different bouquet as a replacement, and it was much better quality. Still not as good I would expect from a florist, but much better than the first. The bouquet is very pretty and I would be really happy if I had ordered it for someone else. I really appreciated the company's willingness to provide a solution so have edited my review to reflect that.

So disappointing, ordered flowers for my Aunt and specifically requested that they get delivered on Saturday. I checked tracking and the flowers are withering in some warehouse or van.. they will be delivered at best 2 days late on Monday (withered) which is pointless and charged almost 9 euro for the delivery service. So disappointed with this service.
**Update**Flowers Direct got in contact with me immediately and offered to send a fresh bunch of flowers and chocolates to the same address. This is a nice touch and I'm happy that the complaint was taken seriously.

my daughter ordered flowers from my husband who is seriously ill in hospital for our 30th wedding anniversary they arrived on saturday and half the flowers and foliage were dead disggraceful she was so upset 😭

Ordering and payments were easy and delivered on time which I was extremely happy with. However, I had received a bonus code upon registering which I applied to the selected gift. The gift selection was a large basket of flowers which was to be elevated to extra large, however when I visited the person who received the basket it was rather disappointing as it did not appear to be large or extra large in the hand, I feel I could have gotten better value had I gone to my local florist, as I said I was disappointed on seeing them in reality.

The instant response to my email. The driver contacted my friend to say that there was a delivery for her & I was sent a picture of the flowers at the house. The flowers were in a ceramic or porcelain vase instead of a glass vase which was perfect as the 18th Wedding Anniversary is Porcelain!! They loved the flowers!!

Flowers in perfect condition, fabulous customer service. 10/10 service. Flowers received on time, no delays. Highly recommend! The recipient told me it's the most beautiful bouquet she has ever received. Will definitely be using this service again.

Edited to add that the company offered to do a redelivery based on my initial dissatisfaction. The redelivery was excellent and I was very grateful for such good customer responsiveness.
Original review: Some of the flowers were dried flowers. The photograph on the web site showed fresh flowers. Whether it was due to them being in transit too long or by design, it was not what I expected or wanted. The oasis was hard and dry.

The WORST company ever! Do not buy flowers from here!!!
I ordered my mother in law flowers 6 weeks in advance to the date - plenty of time or so I’d thought! When the day came she hadn’t received any flowers! I contacted the company who said sorry there is a delay we can get them
Sent Monday - 2 days after I had asked for them to be delivered. I didn’t see this email until Monday as I ended up giving birth. My mother in law was coming over to England on the Friday so I said there’s no point in sending the flowers on Tuesday as she would have 4 days to enjoy them please put me in touch with a manager… I had to ask on 3 occasions for a manager to finally email me only for them to be blase and say “we refunded you” “it was dpds fault” we claimed the money back from them - well great for the company but shocking customer service!! So my MIL got no flowers for Mother’s Day in the end and I got a half arsed reply. Won’t be ordering from here again.
