I had an issue with a cracked core on…

I had an issue with a cracked core on my Instashower 8 Plus. Upon advising Fogatti customer care, they evaluated the situation have gone over and above the call of duty! I received a replacement unit in about a week. I was expecting a replacement core and got a complete replacement unit.

They have been extremely helpful and even though they didn’t have to help me out, they did. I am very impressed with how they have managed to help me with my situation with my instashower 9 issues on both times I’ve had to reach out to them. First time under warranty and they have replacement parts to me very quickly, second time outside of warranty and they were able to help me out!!! Very impressed!

Fogatti InstaShower 9 Pro

I recently purchased a Fogatti InstaShower 9 Pro to replace the original Girard tankless water heater in my RV, and I couldn't be happier with the experience.

I'll admit I was a little nervous going into the project. Replacing a major RV component often turns into a much bigger job than expected, and I was prepared for complications. Fortunately, the entire process was the exact opposite.

From ordering to installation, everything went smoothly. The unit fit well, the installation was straightforward, and the support team was responsive and helpful whenever I had questions. Once installed, the InstaShower 9 Pro worked flawlessly right from the start.

The hot water performance has been excellent, and the overall quality of the product has exceeded my expectations. It's rare these days to buy something that actually lives up to the marketing claims, but this one did.

Thank you to the Fogatti team for a great product and outstanding customer support. I would absolutely recommend the InstaShower 9 Pro to anyone looking to upgrade their RV water heater.

Game changer compared to the old 6-gal tank

We full-time in a 28-ft trailer and our stock Suburban 6-gallon finally gave up. Did a bunch of research and landed on the Fogatti InstaShower 8 Plus. Install was way more straightforward than I expected — the 15×15 door lined up with my existing cutout so I didn't have to cut fiberglass (huge relief). Swapped the old unit out in about two hours start to finish with basic hand tools.

The difference is night and day. No more "navy shower" timing yourself so you don't run out of hot water. My wife can shower, then me, then dishes — no 20-min recovery wait. Hot water hits the faucet in maybe 15–20 seconds depending on how far your fixture is from the bay, so just factor that in. Temp stays solid as long as nobody flushes the toilet mid-shower — usual RV stuff.

Only small note: make sure your 12V supply is actually giving it clean ~12V. Mine was tapped into a line that was voltage-dropping and it acted weird until I cleaned up the wiring. Once that was sorted it's been rock solid for 3 months now. Propane usage feels totally reasonable.

For the price point vs. Girard/Furrion this is a no-brainer IMO. Happy with the purchase.

very disappointed the instructions were terrible most disappointing unit I bought it over three weeks ago and still fighting to get the right parts it's been a nightmare the duck Work is a piece of fabric it shows you how to hook one piece up and not the other piece instead of giving you a piece of metal they give you a piece of fabric come on now then they don't even tell you how to hook it up now it's up there it's not working it sure ain't no instant cool then when you ask questions no one knows no answers about anything if I don't get it straightened out I will definitely be sending it back I never heard of a unit where the return unit is blocked by the cover there is no opening for the air to return up through the unit at it's blocked by the base plate should've had a whole cut of that and a grill put on it for the return doesn't make no sense to me nothing about the whole thing if you're gonna design something design something for a return grill so the air does a complete loop and then you asked about something and they can't even tell you if they don't straighten it out this week they're gonna have they are gonna have to send someone to take it back off the top of the RV three weeks now I've been dealing with this I am done

Fogatti InstaShower Ultra (66,000 BTU).

I purchased the Fogatti InstaShower Ultra (66,000 BTU). It arrived sooner than expected, and I also received two doors by mistake. After a few emails with their team, I was able to return the extra door with no issues, even though I wasn’t charged for it.

The installation went perfectly and was much easier than I expected. After installing it, I did run into a problem where the water temperature wasn’t reaching the correct level. Their customer service and technicians walked me through a step‑by‑step troubleshooting process over email. We eventually discovered the issue was with my bypass valve. Once I removed the bypass valve, the water temperature increased significantly.

I want to say that throughout the entire process, Fogatti’s customer service was patient, helpful, and quick to respond. That level of support is what makes me a loyal customer.

John over at customer service did a…

John over at customer service did a fantastic job. My unit was leaking on a Saturday spoke with John gave me the proper steps to file a warranty less than seven days I receive my replacement. I highly recommend this company, especially with their warranties are fantastic and they back it up. Thank you guys so much. You guys just made my camping experience even better.

Problems with furnace door

I ordered a furnace with a door. The door, which was packaged separately, was an open box item: the door was inside a plastic bag and the screws' bag was opened while still tie wrapped to the door; the screws were scattered outside the plastic wrapped door. There was also what looks like a smeared stamped number on the inside part of the door.

I emailed Fogatti as soon as I received and opened the box. A few days later, not hearing back from them I decided to call. (This is why I am giving 4 stars)

I received great customer service. They asked for pictures. Since the door was in brand new condition, I asked for a partial refund and a set of screws, since some were missing. My request was granted.
There was a little bit of back and forth in the process, but overall, it was a smooth one.

I had initially written a review and included pictures with the intent to edit with an update. I am unable to find my initial review, so I decided to write a new one.

Also, I have not yet installed the furnace or the Insta 7 tankless water heater I purchased because, well, projects tend to take longer than expected. I will be writing a review on those products.

The tech group was great

The tech group was great. They answered my call and got started fixing the problem. After some troubleshooting they had my water heater running like it was supposed to be and I got hot water. Thanks tech support

I bought a Fogotti 9 to replace my…

I bought a Fogotti 9 to replace my suburban water heater in my 2023 Rockwood 8337rl . It was easy had to do a tiny trim because they cut mine with one round edge but it was simple and easy to replace. I would buy again and I’ve already told many people. I love it and it works great the Bugatti of Water Heater!!!!

I ordered a pressure relief valve

I ordered a pressure relief valve. First order UPS lost. I explained to them that I was in desperate need of it and would even pay or send a label for them to Next Day Air. Rep told me they couldn't do NDA even though they ship UPS. So after 3 days and another phone call they then inform me that they are resending the package. This time they shipped it USPS, which is even slower. After waiting another 10 days, USPS too lost the package. This time it was Fogatti's fault for manually entering my home address with the wrong #'s. Poor service and horrible way to try and handle the mistake or mistakes. I just asked for a refund cause they seem to not be able to do the one thing they are in business to do!

Excellent Product Support

I purchased a Fogatti InstaShower 8 Plus, 55,000 BTU RV Tankless Water Heater - in September of 2023 to install into my vintage travel trailer renovation.

the unit was not installed until May of 2025 and for the first two trips worked AMAZING. All the on demand hot water we needed.

On the third trip - the heater did not work properly. I called customer service and they were understanding and helpful. They walked me and my plumber through testing the unit and even though it was out of warranty - sent me a replacement part.

Unfortunately when the plumber went to install the part it was recognized that there was a defect from manufacturing and the replacement part did not correct the problem

after deciding that it was costing more to keep having the plumber come out for repairs - I asked for and was granted a discount on an upgraded unit.

I look forward to getting the new Insta Shower Ultra and trust it will be smooth showering from here on out. It gives peace of mind to know that this company stands behind their product and that courteous and helpful customer support is just a phone call away.

I wanted to replace my existing water…

I wanted to replace my existing water heater with the 6 gallon tank, but after receiving it, I realized it unfortunately wouldn’t fit in the space. I contacted customer support and was easily able to return the water heater!

Hello I recently had a issue with my… Hot Water Heater

Hello I recently had a issue with my indoor Tankless hot water heater Series Insta-comfort 145 stop working and had a Technician come out and confirm it has a bad Gas Valve. After contacting Fogatti I was told I was just out of the warranty period but would see what they could do about replacing the part. In just 24Hr They Responded and told me they would send me a new Gas Valve for my heater and also a Cd on how to install the part myself. So i am giving Fogatti a 100% POSITIVE REVIEW for going above and beyond what they had to to get me the part I need for my heater even out of the warranty period. so Thank You Thank you Thank you Fogatti you have me hooked as a customer for life now. I will definitely buy Fogatti again for any of my hot water needs in the future. Sincerely Edward Mitchell one of your very satisfied Customers for life!!!

We have had three of these worthless…

We have had three of these worthless hunks of junk. First one lasted 2weeks. Second one 6 months. The brand new one just installed today keeps shutting off. We’ve been 7 days without hot water in single digit temps. If I could give minus stars I would. Customer service and parts never got back to us. 7 days waiting. That’s why we ordered a new one and that one is as defective as all of them.

I'm very disappointed in Fogatti

I'm very disappointed in Fogatti, specifically the 150P II Air conditioner line. I travel in a motorhome extensively around the country for my occupation. This past year I had been having troubles with the air conditioners, being older units, I assessed it was time to replace during the short time I would be idle at my home base. I ordered them in advance of my arrival and had the installations setup to coincide with my limited schedule. Everything was going perfectly as planned, received them in time and had them installed on schedule. My thoughts at this time was that problem was addressed and I can continue my schedule as it should be.
Alas, within a month the internal control box failed in the ft unit. Fogatti wasted 2 weeks arguing with me about replacing the controller only. They wanted me to deinstall the entire unit and ship it back.... just for the controller. I had moved the controller from the back unit to the ft and it was working fine, showing that at that point it was that controller but leaving my rear unit inop. After that extensive delay they finally sent a controller and everything worked fine. I put the new Controller in the rear unit where I had removed it to use in the ft unit.
2 weeks later the ft unit failed again. 2 failures in 2 mo the is not a good thing. Now my time is critical, I contacted Fogatti for a replacement on warranty, now they want me to send the faulty unit back before they send the replacement. They did not consider the need for the shipping box and packing from. The replacement in order to safely send the faulty unit back. They also didn't consider that removing it would leave a 14"× 14" open hole in the ceiling/roof to allow the outside to come in.

I responded that
1. I need the box from the replacement to ship the faulty unit back
and
2. I can't leave the roof open in the rain or while I drive.
That message went out 3 days ago and they're delaying my schedule beyond unacceptable levels. I'm STILL waiting for them to get it in gear.

DO NOT ORDER THIS COMPANY 5 STAR RATED WORTHLESS PIECE OF JUNK. Ordered from Camping World.com. Info said within 2 weeks for delivery. Took 5 weeks to get it. When unboxed the condenser coil was dangling loosely; not anchored down. The frame was bent so as it would not mount functionally tight and correct. Dings throughout, with shell banged up. Although the shipping box was in perfect condition. Unboxed by Camping World in Las Vegas, not me. I think it was a returned unit that was shipped to me from a Fogatti repair warehouse. The assistant manager from Camping World in Las Vegas contacted Camping World Head quarters. This executive informed Vegas Camping World that Camping World would not warranty it or help me in any way because the Fogatti AC unit is not a resale item for them. No assistance. Fogatti rep told me Fogattis policy was that I had to pay to return their damaged unit. Camping World informed me that Fogatti had to pay return costs because I received a damaged product that Camping World techs refused to mount. I asked Fogatti to "please" ship another that very day. The rep said it would ship next day from California Warehouse and arrive by the following Monday. The next day was Friday. On Friday got an email from Fogatti rep said things had changed. He did not know what date a replaceable unit would be shipped. But, when shipped the AC unit would be shipped from Texas. Instead of 400 miles from Las Vegas its 1600 miles from Las Vegas. I have waited from May 13, date of order, until today June 26, 2024 for a NEW undamaged Fogatti AC Unit - 6 weeks.
Get this - 6 weeks. Have not received it yet.
Camping World in Las Vegas told me they had NEVER heard of a Fogatti AC Unit. They had never installed a Fogatti AC unit and recommended a Coleman AC uni. Fogatti's criteria intentionally leads one to believe that Fogatti leads the industry when in FACT its at the very bottom. Fogatti does not make the list of the top 10 RV units sold in America. I should have done more research and due diligence. But, in my defense, I ordered it from Camping World.com believing it was a camping world AC unit and I ordered it because it has a remote control and coming from Camping World knowing they would be familiar with it. The order states it was ordered from Camping world. I received a camping world order number. Yet, no help from Camping World. Getting anything truthful from Fogatti rep is likened unto floating the Titanic. Its not going to happen. I recommend searching for top 10 RV units. Order one of them. Anyone of the 10 will have been tried and proved. No B.S. by Fogatti reviewing themselves or their claims on their web site. Stay away from it. Its worse than Covid 19. Ray Reed.
