Misled on product I was trying to open on behalf of mother who comes under Court of Protection. 3 wasted telephone calls on 0345 number, initially told eligible with application sent out weeks ago (not received) to find apparently now not eligible. Stated an intention to complain which had not yet been actioned, but astonishing I have now received email from Ford Money that they are now progressing my complaint or to be accurate their version of the complaint. I am now liaising with the Financial Ombudsman and FCA to establish if Ford Money are allowed to write their own version of a complaint and then investigate it without reference to the potential complainant.

Went through All the procedures to open an account with Ford money after several pestering text to funds the account from them I sent 10k from My nominated account to fund the account only to have it sent back The following Day then The nominated account asked for evidence of where The Money had come from before they would credit back My account as There was no evidence from Ford money iam stuck with Money in the system and no communication from Ford Money dispite several e-mails and secure messages as a First Time customer of theirs iam not impressed at all with the service still waiting for My money to be returned legal proceeding will be taken if they can't resolve this matter very disappointed with them to say the least.

The app has been down for 3 days. And no message other than call us! The bank should be reported to the regulator. I don’t have the time or energy

I Really want to open /switch to an account with ford but am concerned the high praise here is just paid ford reps or bots and that it will be impossible to actually walk in anywhere to meet with anyone face to face If any issues Occur and very difficult to speak with an actual person on a phone call If you even pick up without being charged an arm and a leg to be on hold
Then if the online page freezes up Internet gos down or vanishes etc etc your stuck . I dislike banks I dislike faceless digital electronic money payments deposits etc even more so it’s big brother all
Sold on “convenience “ but stuffing it in a teapot isnt a good idea either and I allready have bank accounts Lol so....What other banks are linked to ford Please as I know it’s only 85k covered with any bank or Even linked banks TOTAL .Tell me why I’m wrong before I arrange an interest deal with my current walk in banks and spread the deposits under different ACTUAL banks to keep under the 85k in each

Already had a savings account with Ford Money and just opened a fixed. Very impressed with them in their simple and straight forward web site and easy opening of the account and customer service when I have e mailed or called are fantastic and helpful when I had a question. . I went to Ford as they are a brand well known name unlike some of the other competitor banks who I have never heard of. They offer great competitive rates and easy to understand on how to add or withdrawing funds with no complications or limits on withdrawals. Well done Ford Money, I highly recommend them.

I currently have a fixed term savings account with Ford Money, and I could not be happier ! Very easy to open and operate. No issues whatsoever and a very competitive rate. I feel you deserve a better rating than you currently have. Keep up the good work.

i opened a isa , swoped from my existing isa was done swiftly, no problems, using the app straight forward never any problems, would recommend 👍👍

I can't create an account. They have everything in green if it meets the criteria - upper case, lower, characters, etc. Everything is green, 5 attempts, all failed. Eventually used a browser generated password and it also failed. I'm not a fool, and read the password criteria line by line. Their own system verified the password. But I give up. It's obvious they just don't want new customers.

Opened a 1 year fixed online saver - very straight forward. . Have also spoken to a representative, who resolved my query very efficiently . Getting through on the phone was easy no delay . I have since opened an easy access savings account - I recommended the bank to my sister who also found it straight forward to open an account .

I have invested six figure sums in Ford money fixed rate accounts for a number of years.
I have ALWAYS received excellent service from well informed advisors.
They offer highly competitive rates and keep you advised with clear instructions a month before maturity.

Simple clear web site. Straight forward products with Excellent transparent rates Unlike other Building Socs I have used they have a simple approach with one flexible account They don't make you transfer to a new account with a better rate. Customer service has been excellent. Phones always answered promptly. Cant fault them

Like another reviewer on here i was also very reluctant to open an account with ford money due to the large amount of negative reviews but i'm very glad i did. The whole process was simple and straight forward.After choosing the account i wanted it was just a case of filling out an application form.I then received an email 5 minutes afterwards informing me my account was now open.I was then told i would be getting an email within 24 hours which would give me temperary information to start funding my account,well i received that with in 3 hours.Then to get my permanent information which would be coming through the post i was told i would get it in a week,well that arrived in about 3 days with all the information i needed.I also found funding my account simple and straight forward and its nice to receive a text a couple of hours later to inform me that said funds have arrived in my account.One other thing is the ford money app is useful and so easy to use with very clear graphics.I have recently tried to open an account with another bank who shall remain nameless.I filled out the relevent forms to then be told i would have to wait 3 days to get my application approved,well after 5 days i got an email telling me i had to send more information which i did.I was then told after another week that they needed even more so i just gave up went to ford money and it was all opened and approved with in about 15 minutes.I think the reason some people struggle with ford money is they just don't read the instructions carefully about how to deposit money etc and then turn round and blame ford for there mistake.All i'll say is if i could give 6 stars instead of just 5 i would.

Been a satisfied customer since 2018. They are quick to increase savings interest rates following BOE decisions and on line messaging system has worked well. Only disadvantage is transfers to and from other banks not instant but out-weighed by the advantages

Having seen the negative reviews was a bit reluctant to open a 2 year fixed rate bond with Ford Money. I decided to go ahead as it was the market leading rate. The application process was straightforward and simple. Got my account details and could have deposited money within minutes but waited until the next day until I got my customer ID by email so that I could login online. When I deposited money I got a text about 10 minutes later to say the funds had been received. Don't know why there is so many negative reviews but from me it is a well deserved 5 for simplicity, clarity and good rates.

Opened 4 joint savings accounts today due to great interest rates, and my wife needing easy access from an app, I found the whole process simple and super quick , called customer service once during set up to confirm one of the questions asked and found Josh to be super helpful

Awful company ! It took over a calendar month to confirm my account details -Finally got my details in the post and I am told the account had been closed as not funded in 21 days of application (WELL HELLO MISSION IMPOSSIBLE !)Well they say everything happens for a reason got a better deal elsewhere so cheers for that and ps. please advise your customer service people not to laugh at customers its not very professional at all not surprised he forgot to press the survey button at the end of call !!!!! * ADDED AFTER REPLY -What poor reply a misinterpretation of sarcasm that's the best one I heard yet and as for the excuse I had to contact you 2wks in to be told there was error this should have been picked up and reported to myself within 24hrs not me to have to contact you then wait another 2-3 weeks for you process come on talk about pass the blame just read the other reviews looks like a common occurrence!

Just opened an account..great interest rate but even better customer service who are so friendly and explain any glitches when opening the account. there is an app to use and excellent layers of security too.
A text message is sent when a deposit is made and lands in the account
