We have used Fourth Wall twice for residential property surveys when purchasing. Annie and Josh are great to deal with, prompt and friendly communication. The reports are excellent - thorough, well presented and easy to understand. Hopefully we won't need to use Fourth Wall again if this purchase goes through, but we will recommend to everyone who asks.

I've worked with Josh & Annie on 3 structural surveys now and they have been a real pleasure to work with. They handle all of the logistics, take any last-minute changes within their strides and keep me updated throughout the whole process.
They have a very quick turnaround time to book surveys and provide reports.
The reports are excellent, far better than I've received before, with a summary that means you can quickly skim over and detailed explanations to read in depth. Josh has been available to answer questions I have about the survey and the property.

We went for the level 3 survey on the house we're buying and were very impressed by the comprehensive survey we received from Fourth Wall.

Everything was arranged quickly, with the survey taking place a week after we were in touch with Fourth Wall. Customer service throughout was excellent, friendly and helpful. The report itself is very detailed, explained things exceptionally well and gave actionable advice on all the points raised.

Cannot recommend these guys enough. This is our first survey, a little daunting at first, but Fourth Wall guided us through and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Josh & Annie were incredibly helpful. They arranged our survey very quickly and it was very detailed. We were unsure which level we needed as we are still new to property purchases they listened to our concerns and helped us decide on the best level of survey. They arranged a follow up phone call post survey to answer our questions, this was incredibly helpful to put our mind as ease as surveys can seem all doom & gloom they helped put everything into perspective for us.

The team were very professional and the building report was clear and very easy to understand. The traffic lights system, clear and concise descriptions/photos alongside the costs summary made it easy for us with limited knowledge of such things!

I was very impressed with the very thorough and in-depth report that indicated a lot of things I had not been aware with enabling me to negotiate with the seller to share the cost of repair.
Fourth wall were able to accommodate me quickly to allow for a speedy sale and have kept me updated throughout. The communication I have received has been brilliant. As a novice in this sort of thing they have been great at ensuring everything was easily understood and have answered my questions quickly.

Full survey completed on my house prior to buying. Since starting renovation have found a room with furniture riddled with wood worm. This extends to some of the beams and woodwork fitted to the basement rooms. Obvious to spot when you look on your knees. Rotten beams in the basement wall supporting the upper floors both of which were not spotted during the survey, although this would not be expected to be spotted due to the ceiling covering I would have expected the heavily damp ceiling covering and moisture tracking to have been spotted. Complete waste of time and money getting the house surveyed.

Really easy and simple process. Just what we wanted when buying a new house. It was really easy to get a quote and book the survey. We were kept up to date throughout the process and the report was delivered in the timescale agreed.

I contacted Fourth Wall to carry out a survey of my home as I have sloping floors and was concerned about subsidence. The process of arranging the survey was simple and quick via email with Annie and the cost was very competitive. The surveyor, Niall Lennon, was very friendly, professional, informative, thorough and helpful in answering the many questions we had. Niall put my mind at ease with regard to the condition of our home. Our resulting report was produced within a matter of days. I would highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them again should I need such services.
