Easy to use

I've been on it for a few years now. Very easy to use and get your way around the app. I haven't had any issues so far.

Transfer experience is terrible

I'm 8 weeks into an Isa and GIA transfer and 47k of shares seem to be lost with no substantive response from freetrade. Cash and investments are still not fully transferred and I've been out of the market for weeks. All I'm getting is an AI bot messenger and automated messaging.

While transfers can sometimes take longer depending on the providers involved, your assets are not lost. That said, you should have received clearer and more timely updates from us.

Very easy to use

Very easy to use, plus they provide investors with good information. The only downside is that dividends are not reinvested so attract tax.

Very happy to recommend this platform. Easy buy and sell. Easy withdrawals paid into bank in stipulated timescale and very informative emails.

Good app for investment

Good app for investment. I wish if the can add more stock on the catalog as some of the stocks are not available directly and need to buy through USD ADR which I don't prefer. E.G. ArcelorMittal which is listed In EU with Eur currency. I could not buy eur but had to buy in USD adr

We offer a range of European stocks in EUR, but there are some listings we’re unable to support if the underlying exchange isn’t available on our platform. In those cases, a USD ADR may be the only option we can offer.

We’re always working to expand the markets and stocks available, so we’ll be sure to pass your feedback on to the team regarding ArcelorMittal.

Unacceptable Customer Service

I used the in-app chat on 7th April to make a simple request. It is now 14th April and my request is still not resolved. My messages are being ignored and I'm not sure why. I cannot in good conscience recommend Freetrade due to the poor customer service.

Moved across a few weeks ago and really pleased so far. I was previously with v expensive Hargreaves lansdown. Love having no fees and commission. Customer service isn’t too bad either.

Unable to get hold of a pdf statement…

Unable to get hold of a pdf statement for my tax return, tried contacting customer services and received no response. Don't use this service if you need to claim tax rebates for SIPP contributions.

Freetrade’s app makes investing…

Freetrade’s app makes investing relatively simple and easy to use. Last year Freetrade did me a big favour when they gave me the heads up that I was about to get scammed in a Pump’n’Dump scheme. I’m looking forward to them introducing twenty-four hour trading. Keep it up! 😀

3 days and zero response to where my…

3 days and zero response to where my ISA transfer cash is. It’s left my previous broker 8 days ago but not arrived yet and no one at Freetrade can be bothered to reply to my question about where it is, not a good first impression and a large sum of money to disappear. Maybe low fees isn’t such a great thing. Will be thinking about going elsewhere.
