I highly recommend Gleeson Homes. They are a fantastic company and helped me secure my new home with ease. Jessica, in particular, was amazing and supported us from the very first day right through to completion.

We were promised that our house would be finished within six months, and they delivered exactly as promised. I received my keys at the end of May and am now happily settled into my beautiful new home.

The entire process was smooth, straightforward, and stress-free. I definitely recommend Gleeson Homes to anyone looking for a new home.

All good until you move in then they don’t care about you or any of the issues. Poor quality houses and construction with even worse customer care. We haven’t been in this house for 15 months and there are numerous issues. Currently have an electrical issue which they have put down to ‘wear and tear’ but it’s not (light switches are falling off). Toilet roll holders don’t stay in the walls. Jobs are left half finished or not started at all. Every little thing is extra - no lights in the cupboards (under/above stairs etc), we paid £500 for a light and plug in the garage, we had to pay £200 to remove a cupboard for the dishwasher when is shouldn’t have been there to begin with. DO NOT BUY because they will not care about you or your house once you have paid.

A smooth and easy process from start to finish. Katie has been second to none, in our home buying process. The guidance and the information Katie had is excellent!

The sales person Lisa at Bluebell court is very unprofessional. The microaggression is quite loud. I would discourage anyone wanting to buy here.

After viewing Gleesons Moy bungalows we decided to downsize and accepted an offer for our house so that we could make an offer at The Paddock at Coxhoe. We were dismayed to discover that timescales had been delayed leaving us potentially homeless. Adrian determindly pursued the option of us being allowed to secure our preferred plot with an Early Bird reservation giving us some security. He's a star!

The support and care was great throughout the process. Very happy with the property and service throughout. Allison, Dani and Josh were the sales people I dealt with. House is great. I would recommend Gleeson homes and the Bearpark site to anybody.

All these people saying positive things before they move in haha - just wait until you move in then the fun begins - absolure could not give 2 hoots about you or any problems you come across . Gurantee you will get usual reply saying

We have been in our home 3 weeks.
Having moved from the South West and are nearly 70 we hoped to settle down to our new home.
How wrong we were. On arrival back door broken and composite blown.
We had to stick it together with parcel tape to stop wind and rain coming in.
Dishwasher on first use leaked all over kitchen floor.
Mould growth in lounge in every corner.
Patio doors keep dropping we have to lift them to try and close them.
Damaged kitchen door.
We are so unhappy in what should have been a new chapter in our life.
Problem with patio doors has been rejected by Gleeson.
Told to wipe down with cold cloth!
If you cannot close and lock doors you are not covered by Home insurance.
Told to wait till after Sunset and the doors should work.
Sometimes we like to go out in the day as we are not Vampires.

We’ve had an amazing experience with Gleeson Homes from start to finish. As first-time buyers, the whole process felt overwhelming at first, but Charlotte from the Bridlington team was absolutely fantastic throughout. She supported us every step of the way, answered every question we had, and made us feel completely at ease during the entire journey.

We visited our plot many times during the build, and Charlotte was always welcoming, helpful, and genuinely excited for us. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her communication and support made such a difference.
A huge thank you as well to Tammy, the site manager, who has been amazing and incredibly supportive too. The care, reassurance, and professionalism from both Charlotte and Tammy have made moving into our first home together such a special and stress-free experience.

We’re now fully settled into our beautiful new home and honestly couldn’t fault anything. We’re so grateful to everyone at Gleeson Homes for making this such a positive experience and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new build home.

As first time buyers we couldn’t be happier with our experience with Gleeson homes and more importantly the staff that made the process so smooth and enjoyable. We were regularly updated throughout the whole process by Emily and Dani at the sales office who were absolutely amazing and truly are a credit to the company. They went above and beyond for us with anything we needed and explained everything thoroughly with us not having a clue going through the process for the first time 😅 A few snags were already logged before we even got the keys by Emily, and she was honest with any issues before we came across them and made sure they were rectified- no sugarcoating which we really appreciated.

Also, a big thank you to Gav the site manager who also was amazing and explained everything to us during our home demo. He was super friendly and made sure to check in to see how we were during move in day and if we had any issues. We have numerous repairs outstanding, some repairs carried out by a so called handyman what a joke, tradesmen should be doing them, front entrance road a really bad design but gleeson blame road user, so called park wide open with no fencing to protect the children, and very poorly maintained, 2 drains outside entrance full of tarmac and overflow, rear garden has more rubble than soil and grass, I can't wait for the surveyors report and to Go to court, absolutely atrocious customer service, they want to put a tree outside to fulfill their obligation what a load of crap,

We arrived at the Bracken Park development without a confirmed appointment, and although Stella was already with other customers, she still came out to greet us and kindly offered us a later slot. Our appointment began just 30 minutes before the office was due to close at 5pm — yet we were still there at 7pm, with Stella going above and beyond to show us around the properties and guide us through our reservation and choices.

She made what could have been a daunting and stressful process feel smooth and manageable by simplifying everything and helping us prioritise what we needed most. Her knowledge of the build process and appliance functions was excellent, and she arranged a further appointment for us to finalise fixtures and fittings — all after an already long and busy day.

Throughout the entire experience she was friendly, professional, patient, and genuinely made us feel at ease. Stella is a credit to Gleeson Homes.

Before we moved into the new build house the process was amazing, if you emailed it would be responded to straight away, if you rang someone would always answer. Now that we have moved into the house we find it near impossible to get in contact with the sales team for stuff we are still waiting for and the site team. We are extremely disappointed in how things have gone since moving into the house. Big issues that we have brought up have been told they can’t be fixed. We have had so many issues / snags in the house. From the house demo, the snags we picked up on weeks ago still hadn’t been fixed and still not fixed when we moved in. The most recent one being the cupboard door falling off and damaging the oven hob. We have tried to keep an open mind about all these issues however starting to get really annoyed due to how many issues there is. It’s as if they have built the house as quick as possible with no quality or care. How this passed the inspection I never know. We have also been told by contractors that have been around to fix some of the issues that if it was their house they wouldn’t have moved in due to the amount of issues they can see. We haven’t been able to settle in the house yet due to the amount of things that need fixed. This is not a home, it’s still a construction site.

I’ve just bought my first house with Gleeson (The Woodlands, Co. Durham) and the service was very good. Staff, especially the customer service team, were friendly, professional and able to answer all of my questions and address my concerns. My moving-in journey was smooth and mostly hassle-free. A special shoutout to Alison at the Sales Centre for all her help and expertise! The portal allows you to report minor snags with ease and issues are addressed promptly.

Abbey was very helpful during the sale of my house. It was my first time buying a house and she helped me with the process. Regarding the problems I had, Abbey was vey helpful and was immediately getting them sorted. Abbey is friendly and very efficient in what she does.

Alyson has gone above and beyond for us to get our date and chase updates. She gave us so much advice as first time buyers and she answered all our questions no matter how small. What a wonderful visit to the Bracks Farm sales office yesterday, meeting Alison who was covering the usual sales woman. She was so reassuring & knowledgeable & we feel much more reassured about the process after talking to her. Hoping that she’ll be able to sort things out for us this week. 🤞

We recently moved into our new-build property and, unfortunately, our experience so far has been disappointing. Within the first few weeks, we started reporting multiple snagging and cracking issues around door frames, window seals, walls, stairs, handrails, and other finishing areas. Several of these concerns were either declined or dismissed as normal shrinkage despite the property being brand new.

Some of the same issues were reported again months later after worsening, but responses continued to rely heavily on warranty exclusions or homeowner maintenance rather than proper inspection and resolution.

We also experienced failure of the garden gate within only a few months of occupation, where the timber split around the fixing and latch area under normal use.

While minor snags can be expected in any new-build home, the volume of defects, the standard of finishing, and the handling of customer-reported issues have been far below what we expected. The experience has affected our confidence in the workmanship and aftercare service provided, and at times the build quality and finishing have felt rushed.
