Booked a taxi waited 30mins for this taxi to have to ring back up to see where the taxi is. Got told it had been cancelled without a text or phone call. Then got told the taxi driver had came to my house and that no one was at the property. Then told me that they will not come out at all because a road closure. So how did the taxi man get to my property? If the road was shut. Told me he is fed up with talking to me too. Told me also there is no other division even though there is two other ways to get to my house. This company is a disgrace and myself and other family members have used this company so many time. I will NOT be using this taxi firm again.

Goldstar taxi picked me and my son up from Addenbrookes hospital today ,the driver was pleasant and very helpful with my son who uses a wheelchair after having brain tumour leaving him with balance problems couldn't ask for more support from the driver who gave the same support when arriving home

The worst taxi firm. Operators were extremely rude. Cancelled my taxi 3 times. Cut the phone on me several times. Never book your taxi from this firm. I pre booked my taxi the night before and they cancelled on me last minute and I was extremely late for work

They are the worst! If you have anywhere urgent to go, I will kindly advise you to desist from using them! They were 50mins late for and very unapologetic about it. The call handler is rude and their drivers are also very rude. One of them blatantly told me that if I don't pay on time he would call the police! For what exactly? Drivers are very terrible. Would never use them again. There are better taxis with better service like A2BEuro or even Peterborough cars.

The man was absolutely amazing, respectful we had a good laugh together. We even went to get some food to munch in the taxi while he was driving, he’s an amazing driver very understanding. He made sure I was safe and sound. Even when I got to Norwich he didn’t leave until he saw I was with my family. Car driver number 341 an absolute amazing guy. Thank you so much

Pre booked an 8 seater taxi on their app. However the ride disappeared from my app 2 weeks before we were due to use the service. I rang up to ask why? Was told the 8 seaters are no longer available, however they could send over 2 4 seater cars, but would be much more expensive. When I complained I was told that I should have called to confirm rather than use the app! Unbelievable! Never use this firm. I sorted an alternative 8 seater via City Cabs for less than the original booking. How can a company let their customers down last minute like that? Ridiculous! Imagine if you were going to an airport!

Terrible experience and very unprofessional. I booked a taxi online and had confirmation. Before taxi was due the lady operator called me to say the taxi price was going to increase by £6. I said you cannot do this, I have confirmation with the price. She basically said she can and tough. I either pay it or I don’t get the taxi. Well I didn’t pay it and went with another taxi company who was actually cheaper than original price. Very unprofessional and a let down. I was a lady on my own and I could have been stranded. Disgusting customer service.

The worst experience ever with our driver. WHITE PASSAT LM63ARZ. Speeding the whole way home. Did not look nor look at the round abouts at all. Did not indicate with lane changes. Driving way over the speed limit continues to speed.Called the management , they did not apologise at all. Said I have recorded the call . I have asked the manger to call me tomorrow. I have used this company for over two years. I will not recommend them Now to anyone. Speeding is an offence in this country. He should be taken to task and banned from driving as a taxi driver. Massive Rip-off: I paid for the rental with platinum excess insurance waiver via my VISA Credit Card via Third Party DOYOUSPAIN.com
On collection of vehicle, the rental agency would not accept the VISA card which I had on my mobile for the deposit guarantee (which I had used for payment and had the monies already deducted) insisting that I had to have the actual physical card with me, and then neither would they accept a physical AMEX card I had on me as the deposit credit card.. .. so I was obliged to pay an exorbitant additional full insurance fee plus various other charges including an admin charge plus unexpected fuel deposit fee which more than tripled the total cost of the rental. I will definitely try never to use this company again and I will ensure that this experience is shared with as many travellers as possible.

I booked a taxi from this company today evening (30.12.2022) whilst at Waitrose (Peterborough).. They sent a driver at about 19.20 hours. I will not disclose his name for the purposes of his review. But as soon as he located me at Waitrose, the first thing he did was mourn about why or he could not contact me by phone and how he was about to cancel the booking. He spoke to me as though he was speaking to his own child - stating "next time...ask to speak to an operator. Do not use the automated system." Anyway, the journey commenced. For some reason, there was some difficulty locating the place where I asked him to drop me off. It was dark - so he drove around a bit - looking for the location. In the end, we found it. I went out of the car to the boot to remove my shopping. I should point out that during the journey, some items came out of the shopping bag. So, I began by checking to ensure that I did not leave behind any of my shopping in his boot. Whilst I was doing so using the torch on my smartphone, this driver said to me from the driver's seat "My friend...I have got a job to do next....we have already spent time looking for this location...." In essence, he rushed me around so he could get to his next job. I recognise that time is money in that sort of work. However, a little, if not basic customer service, is still necessary. I do not expect 5-star treatment. But I expect some reasonable standard of customer care. In this case, I consider that it was wholly unreasonable for this driver to rush me from his driver's seat in circumstances where he could see that I was checking the boot to see if there is any shopping that fell out of the shopping bag. Any professional CAB driver would be willing and able to assist and not to throw commands at the customer from the steering wheel. I note with regret that standards in this company are declining to an alarming rate. Gone are the days when it was heralded for its customer excellence and professionalism. Most drivers are now ill-equipped with basic standards of the job. Perhaps that is unsurprising given that most of them do it as a casual or side job. When I phoned the company to raise my concerns about today's experience, I was informed there was no duty manager available - just operators. That may well be the case. But however, any firm or company that strives to protect its reputation and is committed to excellent service would have systems in place to record complaints or grievances from customers irrespective of the time. Essentially, I expected that there would be someone in charge of operators and who is trained to respond to concerns from customers. The absence of any such person on this occasion is, itself, telling of what this company is about and where its priorities lie. There are efficient competitors out there. Size is not everything and I think in this case, this company's reputation is suffering due to its size. I have resolved never to use this company anymore and I will be contacting them to erase my data from its records pursuant to the Data Protection Act - failing which I will report them to the Office of the UKICO. I would not recommend using this firm to anyone. Black Cabs are pricey and often avoided by many. However, Black Cab drivers are subject to rigorous training and professional scrutiny that otherwise some of the amateurs you encounter working for companies like Goldstar Peterborough. I am prepared to pay more for the benefit of excellent customer service than pay cheaply but be treated like a number. I would have rated this company minus-5 if there was a facility to do so. Pathetic! Won't be using them forever!!
