This company only offer you a SCRAP VALUE for any jewellery you may want to sell on its gold content value even though the item is not for the melting pot.BE AWARE BEFORE YOU SELL

Went into the Swansea branch to sell some gold. They lady who helped me was fantastic, she explained the process to me and gave me more for my items than three other gold buyers in Swansea. Would recommend if you got gold to sell.

Having left a negative feedback and also making a formal complaint after my treatment in the Swindon branch of H&T nearly a month ago I have yet to receive a response other than the automated response you get when leaving any feedback.

I have rung H&T's customer service who then told me it would take:-

UP TO TWO MONTHS TO DEAL WITH MY COMPLAINT

I have also raised a 2nd comlaint with regard to an online purchase that was going to take at least 10 days to send the item out from one of their stores and a further 3 days for delivery, and have also not received a response regarding that complaint either.

H&T will now ask me to provide further information, which is completely insane as these are H&T's own policys not mine. What they are about to ask me, is completely out of my control.

1. Not being able to view an item in store unless you have a passport

2. Not being able to take my Omega to allow me to view the watch which cost a third of mine

3. Not willing to take full payment in cash and refund me on the same day when viewed in store if I was not happy with item

4. Taking over 10 days to send a stock item out from one of their stores when I made on online purchase

5. Being told that it is going to take up to TWO MONTHS to investigate each of my complaints

I am amazed that more customers have not made complaints about the companys policys, considering that they claim to have been trading since 1897.

Most competitive currency exchange rates in Croydon. Clean and safe environment. I changed cash pounds to euro and the rate was the best and euro were available immediately. John was clear and helpful regarding final payment. They are now my go to.for currency exchange.

Widnes store. Very friendly and helpful staff. Professional service. Signposted all quotes along the way so everything was clear. Very happy with the service.

The member of staff who I dealt with was brilliant. I got a very good price for my gold items which was considerably more than what another on line company had quoted. From accepting the offer to receiving payment, it was extremely quick. I certainly won’t hesitate on using H&T Pawnbrokers in the future and would highly recommend them. Good service for currency too 😊

We would highly recommend Fiona and Jason at H&T on Seagate, Dundee. My aunt and I regularly visit the store and always bring in a large amount of costume jewellery, often we're not sure of origin of it.
My aunt loves to get severed by Jason, she calls him "young boy". He is particularly fantastic. He is extremely thorough and pays attention to every single piece, taking the time to check everything carefully rather than rushing through it. We really appreciate the care, patience and professionalism he shows every time we visit. The last time I brought a pin without any engraving that happened to be gold worth £160.
Fiona is also always lovely, friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit a pleasant experience.
We have been very happy with the service we receive and will definitely continue coming back. Thank you, Fiona and Jason, for always making us feel welcome with our tupperware of costume jewellery and for providing such excellent customer service! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Romford store. Unprofessional. Not understanding. Completely unorganised. One member of staff doesn't know what the other staff members are doing. Tried to buy a ring in store. Apparently the ring had the wrong barcode on it. So it had to be sent back to head office. The next day I was told the ring will not be returned to the shop and possibly melted down. When jewellery is returned to head office it just disappears even through i wanted to buy it. Then I was asked to pick another ring out which I did and spent most of Saturday afternoon doing in store ordering it. When I went back to pick up the ring no one has any knowledge of it being ordered even the staff member who ordered it. I was treated like a fool. And I was told if I wanted anything to order it myself online and do a click and collect. Pay first then wait for the ring to arrive and then get my money back if there was a problem. How can anyone trust that process when you can't even buy something properly over the counter in store. Terrible service. And no customer care.

Eileen at the Edinburgh Queen street branch managed to remove my watch strap and put my new one on. It was a tricky process because the spring bars in the watch were the wrong size, and she and the other employee were super friendly and communicated throughout about what needed to happen and how, and got it fixed in no time. Fantastic service, thank you!
