I experienced pain in my achilles tendon and swelling for several weeks before I decided to contact Private Healthcare. I was referred to a physio who discussed the condition and recommended I first check DVT by going to my GP or A & E. I called up AXA and expressed my surprise at being referred to A & E by private healthcare. after several transfers to other departments, the final lady told me she would refer me to set up an appojntment with a physio that would be able to refer me for imaging/scan for DVT. A few days later I had the video appointment and the physio expressed that he did not think I had a DVT and he could not refer me for a scan. I have ended up with no scan and no physio.

Virtual physio appointment - physio was great, very knowledgeable, understood the issue and made a recommendation. Follow up treatment was quick and easy to book.

Online experience creating initial claim, answering questions regards the injury all positive.
From there follow up for an appointment was quick within a matter of couple of days
Chat over the phone with the physio where she confirmed in detail the issues I had experienced.
Follow up by physio in recommending me treatment and local physio's to use excellent
