I highly recommend this company
I have used this company several times now. I love that I can choose the size of bag that I need for the project waste and can fill it as I go along. Handy delivery by post and when full, just go back on the website, put in your collection number and it's gone within days. Fabulous service. Highly recommend.

Simple and efficient skip service
Really simple and straightforward booking, delivery and collection process.
We booked a Mega Bag to take the waste from our bathroom refurbishment. It easily swallowed up our old bath, shower door and fittings, as well as several bags of assorted ‘bits’. Would definitely use again.

Useless overpriced rubbish
Useless, unreliable and a complete waste of time. Save yourself the aggravation and get a skip instead. Fobbed off by everyone in their call centre & continually promised collection dates that never happen.
The result has been my shared access driveway has been blocked for over two weeks, preventing access and parking to myself and five other neighbours, including someone who is wheelchair bound.
I've had to manually move everything and re-pack it into the bag, to try and block the drive for the minimal amount of time possible. Hippo have told me they'll get it the next day, then failed to turn up on four occasions.

We appreciate how disappointing it must have been to experience repeated delays, particularly when the bag was blocking a shared access driveway and affecting both you and your neighbours. We also understand how frustrating it was to have to move and repack the contents yourself after being given multiple collection dates that were not met.
Our collection service operates on an aim of five working days rather than a guaranteed collection date, however we recognise that your experience fell well below the standard we aim to provide.

Spoke to a couple of the staff there as I had an issue with payment. They were very helpful and resolved the issue. Bag arrived ed promptly and was taken away efficiently and quietly on the morning of the 3rd day. Much cheaper than a skip (especially on a deal price). Highly recommended. I have used before and will again.

Unhappy with Hippo Waste
Tarmac driveway was damaged by Hippo when I had our Bathroom renovation by Wickes, was asked by Hippo to do all the work to get quotes, cheapest was £150, however the tarmac company just filled when they were passing by whilst we were on holiday so never got a receipt, so tried to claim money back without receipt, but Hippo will not pay without receipt so now I'm out of pocket with a darker area on our driveway where new tarmac was used

HIPPO is efficient
HIPPO is efficient - my full Hippobag was collected within 48 hours of booking collection. It gave me a good long time to fill it before collection so the clearance work could be done at my own timescale. The website and booking process is very straightforward.

Very convenient.
Very convenient website easy to use, bag delivered quickly and collected 48 hours after booking. Driver very helpful. They are expensive so need to be really needed and filled completely. It would be super helpful to be able to book a collection date rather than "within five business days".

Solid product with some thought
Never had an issue. The initial purchase and then collection of the bag is usually seamless. They don't give you an exact date, but they've generally arrived earlier than expected.
The bag works great. But just like any skip if you have a blustery space cover and secure it with some tarp you're willing to lose.
Also can I make sure you think a little bit about how you feel it. It can tip over a lot easier than a skip can.
But otherwise, quicker to arrange than a skip and quicker to get than a skip. Definitely recommend

A simple process for delivery and collection. During the collection the driver arrived at 5:50 a.m. and was incredibly considerate of the time and the location and made as little noise as possible.

Megabag is not a useful size description.
Also, I wanted a larger bag to fill for next time, but was told I could only have megabag size! I.offered extra money to upgrade, but it wasn't available! Why not???
