I've always been happy with the prices and rapid delivery.

For the first time I had an issue with an item - It was quickly sorted and they kept informed throughout.

Great comms and service.

I've ordered from this company on two occasions with orders totaling several hundred pounds. On the last occasion I purchased an beginner FPV kit. The item appeared to malfunction intermittently almost immediately but I wasn't sure if it was a fault because this FPV stuff can be very complicated for a beginner and I thought it might just be the settings. Eventually it became apparent that there was indeed something wrong with the item after I reset everything to the manufacturers default settings but the fault continued to occur and actually increased in frequency over time. After about 2 months the quad would rarely arm properly because the rear motors would twitch and shutdown if I tried to take off.

When I reached out to HobbyRC for assistance I was eventually informed that "There is no warranty on a flown/used quad other than best endevaours with the manufacturer". A claim that I suspect is legally dubious given that this was a brand new item purchased from a UK vendor and was not even 6 months old.

Consequently, I am now very vary about doing business with this company. I may purchase from them again but will do so with caution because (unlike some of their competitors) I do not believe they will take proper care of their customers if something goes wrong.

Got some great advice from Mike on tech support on what fpv gear I should go for (no cheesey/forced sales guff either). Advice was spot-on and all stuff I bought worked just as he said. They even bung you a tasty fruit sweet & a discount voucher off next order - beltin! 🙂👍

I can't fault this company at all. Ordered 2 planes and some batteries. A few minor issues that were dealt with generously, promptly and professionally and were not the fault of HobbyRC. Will definitely use them going forward.

After loads of orders i can say 1 thing (maybe more) they are SUPER reliable honestly every order i have had has been 10/10 Quick shipping times and fast to dispatch. Customer service is top notch as well, replies within a day. Every order i have had comes with a cheeky discount and a sweet! gotta love them. Hobbyrc are the best and never disappoint!!!

I had two bad batteries sent and after an email to Mike he sent out another two batteries very swiftly.

I have bough plane with hidden fault that prevented plane from taking off (wheels felt off after 2-3 meters).

I was told that warranty doesn't cover that.

Pathetic.
Avoid them.

They provided needed advice via telephone and when I was ready to purchase delivery was prompt with no issues.

Great customer service.

We all get orders delivered overnight etc in the modern times we live in. So the value of a business in my opinion is how they look after you when it goes wrong (it happens sometimes).

I ordered 8 lipos, delivered over night as expected, but a couple were faulty. I contacted them by email with details and a couple of photos, and just got back a response of 'replacements on the way'. No drama, no hassle, just really good and efficient service.

The first reason I bought from HobbyRC is that they had what I wanted in stock and at a good price.

The reasons I will be using them again in future are:

Quick delivery: Each order I have made has been despatched same day, and arrived the next.

Support: As is always possible with electronics, occasionally there are issues. When I had a problem with an item I ordered, Mike was fantastic in patiently helping me to sort the problem, and quickly replaced the item once we determined it wasn't possible to salvage.

Thoroughly recommended.

Used HobbyRC a couple of times and they were good. However I got annoyed with them when they suggested I should take apart a brand new Radiomaster Boxer to fettle the menu roller. They also sent out a duff Radiomaster Lithium Cell which should really have been checked considering it was part of the Transmitter purchase.
No problem with the return, but there are other suppliers out there.

I bought a radiomaster tx16s mk2 jb edition. Along with a receiver and a tx 5000mah lipo. A GNB 5000mAh 2S 5C LiPo Battery For Radiomaster TX16S . When using the battery in the tx, the battery level went down very quick. On testing at 1amp(pack said 5c ie 25amp discharge poss) I got 3874mah. I have since done another test at 500mah and only got 3991mah.
I ordered a radio master 6200mah as a replacement. Because I needed the radio to setup my models for our national championships. Which are coming soon.
After I had done the order I sent the an email explaining the above.
They said they would reply in 72hours.
However 48 hours later they did a refund no quibble.
I have placed a number of orders with hobbyrc. Aways found its a quick delivery and well packed.
Without hesitation I will use them again.

Really am blown away by this company. I ordered on Wednesday and my quad and batteries arrived the next day before lunch. Mike seems to be a really kind and helpful person that's eager to assist with queries - I'll absolutely always be using this site to feed my drone addiction in future.

Quick delivery on my order, placed around 3pm and arrived first thing the day after. Useful advice given to my email enquiry too. Will use again.

Bought allot of items from this company with a quick delivery then a few weeks later one of the chargers packed up I sent it in and it took them a good couple of weeks to send out a replacement. I understand a faulty part has to be tested but return postage for a 3 day service using yodel and then even after receiving the item there is only one particular day they check it so if your item is delivered on another day you wait days and days for replacement

Made quite a sizable order with these morons and ordered 6 6s batteries. I paid extra for 1-2 days delivery and waiting home for the delivery only to be told that the delivery was returned to sender. HobbyRC emailed to say they had messed up and had to send again as they had bot declared the batteries correctly for the courier. Its now beem 4 days and I'm still waiting. HobbyRC refused my refund for express delivery since they couldn't claim it back because it was their mess up then they can't allow me to claim it back? Absolute morons. Don't order from them and if you do don't bother with thw extra postage as its just a waste and their after sales to their customers is clearly not important to them at all.

Update.
Parcel never arrived and after 4 weeks I finally got a refund for the order.
Mike seemed pretty sound throughout the process of claiming the lost package but dpd seemed to draw it out quite a bit. I'll now be looking to buy my 6s batteries elsewhere since my hobbyrc account was closed down following my first review 🙃
