Your Website was down
Your Website was down, so I called the telephone number given instead. This put me through to the insurance company. The guy I spoke to was very helpful, but I would much sooner have done the registration on-line, because I am quite deaf.

Quite easy to register
Quite easy to register. My only issue was being on hold for a considerable time after confirming identity.
I would suggest that an option to ask if timing is convenient is added during the initial conversation.
Strange that the caller did not have make and model of purchase to hand leading to a frantic search on phone whilst walking between locations.

I had to wait a very long time in the phone before someone answered.
Then the majority of the time they tried to talk me into signing for an extra insurance that I don't need.
Just take my registration and that's it.

Bad phone experience …
Once I got through to the Hotpoint customer service section the guy was really helpful but I was passed from pillar to post by unhelpful “agents” who had little or no knowledge of Hotpoint or the customer service expected.
