My son-in-law bought HP Laptop invoice dated 30 December 2025 for myself. Could not be set up until following week, within 7 days the paint on regularly used keys were beginning to rub off. This lap top was obviously NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. This was reported just after 30 day returns limit and HP refused any redress. By April at least 10 keys were very faded and the lap top cannot be used in electric light as those keys are invisible. I am now ready to throw the thing away as other reviews, the lack of service they received and based on my own experience show that HP are a waste of time. Date of experience as below is irrelevant.

Actually less than one star. Firstly I received a defective brand new all in one desktop. Needless ro say the previous one lasted less than three years. That should have been my warning. Customer service is the worst I have seen. Why do I have to speak with an AI on the phone for several minutes, repeating every single thing I said. Won't it be easier to just complete a form or send an email. And then the hopeless people in the chat room! Horrible nerve-wracking experience. Rubbish.
Absolute waste of money
Absolute waste of money i have the touch screen laptop and first it doesn't have any good apps on it and i keep having multiple issues with the hinges on the right of the laptop and they manufactuors are clearly not doing it well as i get cracking when i move the screen and every now and again blocking and disfunction of sound and Hp suppourt refuse to help in any way and say its my fault even though they gave me this laptop basically already broken .Please don't waste your money i have had multiple problems and fixtures with this laptop.
Zero star review
I was going to write a zero star review to alert customers, but there seems little point. The overall response for HP seems to be poor or less than poor.
I have been a loyal customer of HP and they have bought several computers and printers.
I placed an order for a computer that was in stock, and have now been told that after it had not arrived, they are going to cancel it as it no longer in stock.
I had the choice of buying another computer (that was not discounted) or a refund
I couldn’t speak to a manager, I couldn’t make a complaint over the phone, and when I asked an email address for a complaint, the email address turned out to be defunct.
It’s clear HP don’t care. The arrogance that they display fo customers and the law is shocking.
It is up to you whether you want to buy from HP but the evidence suggests that may not be wise
Worst Computer Purchase Ever
Bought a brand new HP omnibook 7 touch, Worst computer I've ever owned.
If wifi is turned off or computer sleeps, either I can wait 10 minutes or reboot to get the internet back.
These are the choices.
Don't buy HP laptops if you want to use the internet, at all.
This is after spending over an hour in chat and changing over 20 things.

Never again HP and I don't recommend it. Worst laptop. After every update, the sound doesn't work. NO NO HP.
Worst experience I had with any printer
The printer we bought had a lot of issues, even as new the technical issues and quality issues were too many. The worst was that you have to pay subscription to use the ink and even pages you can print are restricted, even if you have ink! Absolute scam from HP.
Shocking
Shocking, chat bot that cannot detect a thing, then long waits on the phone with a message “thank you for your patient” no queue number nothing. Tells you all to need to know about what they think of customer service, avoid

HP LaserJet M110w is an absolute rubbish, as it is the overall support you get with it. Don't buy HP unless you want to waste time and money. I would never recommend it to anyone.
Bought a new Omen laptop from HP
Bought a new Omen laptop from HP. Everything seemed to work fine to start with until I needed to print something.
The Chatbot just goes round in circles, the HP support page provides no easy way to get support and the call centre staff insist on putting me through to the printer team (the line disconnects when they do) as they think it is a printer issue, even though the printer works perfectly from my Dell laptop, iPad and phone.
HP support is an absolute joke. If you buy anything from HP expect no support at all. Really disappointed.

Contact centre staff don't listen to information and just follow a script asking you to check things which are clearly completely unrelated to the issue
Use this company at your own risk
I am giving one star as the system will not go lower. After arriving later and paying for fast delivery, the wrong parts delivered. 2 months later and correct valves arrive. And yes the saga continues, Dead on arrival and after proving and video sent told I would have to return at my cost. Lied to and told they no longer stock valve motor.
So I have no working part,no refund but the loss of month's is the worst. Use this company at your own risk.

Printer stopped working mid-print and there is no support to fix. Online support is so poor, every option online leads you to a dead end. Awful.

Working in partnership with DPD to makes my life as stressful as possible. They sent ink out for me as as soon as I saw it was with DPD my heart sunk as I waited for my heart rate to rise. I’d have felt more confident and safer using sticky tape and having a rabid badger turn up at my door. After two attempts from DPD I had to call HP who said a refund could be up to 8 days after they relieve back the parcel. A TECHNOLOGY company couldn’t do it sooner. So if you need something they sell look to see if Argos sell it and get it from there. Even if you have to drive 50 miles it’s more reliable to do it yourself.

If I could give less I would. Awful products. New printer. Never keeps wi fi connection. Constantly needs to be in set up mode. Even HP customer service don’t know why. But will not replace it. £70 down the drain. Avoid this awful company. Terrible products even worse customer service.
Steer clear of this company
If only there was zero rating I would give it. Tried and tried to find a contact number to talk to a human.
Whatever has happened to this company. It's almost like they hide behind technology so they don't get hassled. Never again!!
Bad service taking money
I have been in a long battle with HP instant ink regarding a unpaid subscription that I paid for twice and they say I need to clear the outstanding. I did pay twice. They suspended my account twice after paying which gets you into a payment loop where they manage to get more mo ey out of you. Disgusting service and never investing in hp ever again.
HP Envy 360 dead after 15 months.
HP Envy 360. Bios chip fried 3 months after standard 1 year warranty expired. Piece of crap.
