I have given the 5 stars purely because the agent who took over my ongoing claim actually dealt with it and kept me informed therefore avoiding many phone calls to find out what was happening or/if any process re my claim was taking place.
Demi took over from the original handler (claim going nowhere, file lost!!! & other issues).
When I was lucky enough on one of my many calls to speak to Demi she managed to located the missing extensive file containing: the claim form, photographs along with corresponding time stamps and estimates for replacements + covering letter etc.
I had Everest Triple glazing installed pre Covid, the Argon gas had escaped leaving awful streaky misting which was especially bad in 'normal weather' (only disappeared in the 'heatwave of this year only to reappear...).
This misting applied only, so far, to the very large centre panel of the bay window.
I appreciate the insurance company has been deluged with the now defunct Everest given there is a dedicated option on their phone menu for Everest.
When Demi took over my claim I was kept up to date + I had a dedicated 'claim handler' to contact by name /e mail. It was a huge relief and much more efficient.
I think the company eventually hired extra staff to process the claims .

I was helping to sort a claim out for my elderly mother in law.
Installsure asked for us to complete what was a huge amount of paperwork. Then I had to arrange for a fitter to call and obtain a quote. The original guarantee from Safestyle was for 10 years.
After all of this they still turned down our claim because they only have a 5 year guarantee so the original one is useless if the company go bankrupt.
They could have just asked what the installation date was and turned it down immediately instead of wasting my time.
This was all for quite a small amount of £500 as well.
Just like all insurance companies, they don't want to pay out

I’m in the middle of a claim with installsure, a legitimate claim according to the policy documents. So far it’s been 4 weeks and they’ve lost documents I submitted on the claim form, documents that have to be uploaded or you’re not allowed to process the claim form. Then they asked for a second quote, despite that not being detailed on their own “how to claim” information. However, as I’m a reasonable customer, I obtained the second quotation.
Confirmed that all documentation was in place on a call today, the chap on the line wouldn’t give me a date for the next response to my claim. I’ll update this review with my experience as I go along, but so far it isn’t great.
All paid now, claim settled.

An absolute joke. I started my claim in March 2025 where my composite door had faded. I filled all the paperwork in and was asked to get two companies around for quotes. They even asked their own company to come out and assess it making it three. Then the final decision was made using only their own appointed company's view (which is amazing) then miraculously the policy doesnt cover the door from fading even within its warranty period and is classed as wear and tear. So in summary they made me run around for nearly 3 months asking several companies to come and have a look, when from day one they had no intention of honouring the warranty from safestyle doors. There is clearly a manufacturing fault so the insurance is not worth the paper its written on. Really not happy and i would warn anyone against this insurance process being honourable. If anyone would like to contact me then i am more than willing to discuss it further.

I found the process from start to finish very frustrating. Put my claim forward in Jan 25, Everest windows, and still not my payment, which isn’t much as there’s a £100 excess. They are very slow for an insurance company, communication is terrible. This needs to be looked at as it’s the only way to get support when you window company goes bust after you paid a fortune for new windows, thanks Everest!!

Unfortunately we were left with a faulty front door, following Safestyle going into administration. I contacted Installsure and to be honest they have been totally amazing from start to finish. Great communication throughout the process and all emails responded to reasonably promptly. After completing the claim form and sending the relevant documents, our claim was dealt with really efficiently. I can't thank everyone enough for all the support and for settling our claim. A great service from everyone at Installsure. Thanks so much for all your help.

After Pennine Windows went into liquidation, I was left with a sizeable repair bill, which would have been covered by the Pennine warranty. I contacted Installsure and they were amazing. Tasneem was lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful and I received a payment for the repairs. I was particularly impressed that no attempt was made to discredit my claim, or reduce my payment. A fair and excellent service.

Once I had completed the forms and returned them, the service was quick and we were registered the same afternoon. The client service administrator, Karan, was very helpful and efficient.

referred to these via Pennine which was then windowsplus roofs had an absolute nightmare, my 20 year guarantee states repairs will be made free of charge, to me that means no fees, says it there free of charge, 2 windows wont open and they are saying I need to pay excess, they are guaranteeing my windows im not paying insurance on them, they are faulty , not my fault but they refuse to repair them, how long until my other windows develop the same fault?? absolutely disgraceful , plus the claims procedure is deliberately hard and customer service is bad, just to add since their response, pennine are still trading under pennine, same lousy guarantee, how long until they "cease trading" again and do this to others , they are faulty2 windows with the same problems but no one is acknowledging this

They have just swapped our company over as they've changed insurance underwriters, 4 weeks in and they still can't agree on the cost of a policy. They sent out an outline amount to charge per policy and on registering they've since added an extra £6 on what they stated. So we've been under charging for a month, and will be out of pocket on everyone we've had to compulsory sell. Can't think of another company that could trade like this and it be acceptable.
Edit:- Thank you for getting in touch. I will check the prices of what has just been sent through against what we're actually being charged when we register the next policy. I'll be back in touch to let you know if it is now correct.

Having read other reviews that have been very critical of Installsure, I wasn't overly optimistic about getting a positive outcome when we needed to submit a claim after the installer of our faulty Rockdoor went out of business.
True, it did take a little while, and an email chaser, to get an initial response but after that the whole process ran reasonably smoothly. Installsure were able to confirm that we did have a valid insurance policy and advised us of the reference number. This enabled us to submit a claim through their website that was easy to use and functioned well without any issues. Email communication and updates from Installsure's staff were prompt and regular.
Once we had submitted the two quotes required, within a few days we got confirmation that our claim had been approved, less £100 excess.
Payment did take a couple of weeks to reach our bank account (we were advised that it would be made within a month) but we did receive it.
