Had my initial virtual consultation with Josh today after finding InvisibleBraces4U while comparing Invisalign Comprehensive prices.

Josh explained that the current Comprehensive package is £2,395 for unlimited aligners, with up to 24 months at 0% interest, and includes whitening, IPR and final tooth contouring.

Retainers aren’t included in the £2,395 price. I was quoted £360 for two sets of Vivera removable retainers, or £295 for a permanent/fixed retainer.

I was also advised that a scale and polish is required before starting treatment. InvisibleBraces4U charge £80, although Josh made clear that I can have this done through my own dentist instead.

As I’m travelling from Teesside to the Leeds clinic, appointment frequency was particularly important to me. I was told Comprehensive treatment would normally require only three physical visits, potentially four, with the rest monitored remotely. Photos are submitted weekly through the Invisalign app for the dentist to review.

I specifically asked what happens if further aligners are required after completing the planned treatment. I was told there would be a £99 administration fee for another set of aligners, which I’ll clarify further at the clinical consultation.

The next stage is an in-person assessment and 3D scan in Leeds. This required a £25 deposit, which is refundable after attending if I decide not to proceed, or deducted from the treatment cost if I do.

Josh was friendly, straightforward and happy to answer a fairly extensive list of questions. I’ve booked the Leeds clinical consultation for tomorrow, so this review relates only to the virtual consultation and booking process, not the Invisalign treatment or clinical outcome.

For transparency, after booking I received a message from InvisibleBraces4U offering entry into a draw for Invisalign treatment free of charge if I leave a Trustpilot review naming my Treatment Coordinator (Josh). That incentive is why I’m entering the draw, but the information and experience described above are my factual account of today’s consultation.

Josh was super friendly and talked me through each step of the way when it came to each of the packages. He asked me if I had any questions which was really nice and listened to me every step of the way. Thanks a lot Josh!!!

All these reviews look glamourous and praiseworthy and rightly so in its own context. But the reviews are all about initial consultations and the first meeting with 'Jamie', not the experience after that. Once you get booked in with the initial call, and make your payment (deposit), and then go to the clinic - that's when the red flags will start to appear. Firstly, you'll not be seen by a Dentist from the branch it will be an external person and the person you spend most the time with is the invisiblebraces4u sales consultant. After your scan, you will be told what package you need (unless you've had invisalign before you will NEVER be offered the £999 pack plastered all over the internet. After they've taken your payment, you're told the trays will be ready in 4-5 week. This is when you will be ghosted and bombarded with emails to sign a consent form even though you've signed it already. You will also get the wrong emails for the wrong treatment plan and when you raise this as a concern, you are asked to book another appointment for another scan 'for a second opinion for the records' and if you question why its necessary you will not get a reply, if you follow up its a 'dont worry about it'. If you comment on social media they will be deleted and, in some cases, replies are given with a sarcastic undertone or simply just rude. The package you ACTUALLY need will only be £200-300 cheaper than your local dentist/invisalign provider who will have much more interaction and regular check ups with you without being ghosted. You will feel much more in the loop and customer service will be way better. I have sadly asked for a refund for the way I have been messed around, but haven't had a reply. My friend also has not been responded to and they've messaged weeks ago for their refund. Lets hope I get my money back as I paid a larger deposit for a smaller monthly DD.
