Completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional behaviour at the Leeds clinic today.

I attended the practice specifically to discuss an ongoing issue with my treatment. The conversation was being conducted calmly and diplomatically with another member of staff when Valentina unnecessarily inserted herself into the discussion and began shouting at me in front of other patients.

This is not simply my interpretation of events. Other members of staff witnessed the incident and acknowledged that Valentina had been shouting at me and that her conduct was inappropriate.

Despite this, Valentina refused to acknowledge that she had done anything wrong and no apology was forthcoming. That lack of accountability is particularly concerning when her own colleagues witnessed what happened.

There is absolutely no justification for a member of staff inserting herself into a calm discussion and shouting at a patient in front of others. For that same person then to refuse to acknowledge any wrongdoing demonstrates an extraordinary lack of professionalism and accountability.

The wider handling of my case by Ellie, the Office Manager, has also been extremely poor. Despite the history of my treatment, the numerous issues previously raised and the specific circumstances that led to this point, she has treated the matter as though it were simply another routine case. There has been a complete failure to consider the circumstances on their individual merits or recognise that this case cannot reasonably be treated in isolation from everything that has preceded it.

That lack of judgement and appropriate case management has only served to escalate a situation that should have been resolved professionally and sensibly. The handling of this matter has fallen woefully below the standard I would expect from a healthcare practice.

A zoom called was booked at the time of my convenience, I was sent reminder messages of when my zoom call was approaching. I spoke to a lovely member of staff called Jamie who guided me through all the different packages, I have now booked a face to face appointment at the clinic near to me. I will start my journey, hoping to see amazing results.
