Absolutely fantastic company and service from start to finish. Starting with Alec talked me through everything right from the start answered any questions and explained all, sent all the information over straight away and left me to make my mind up.

Lots of options of where to take my training and which places best suited me.
I had the pleasure of being taught by John and he was brilliant, very calm, clear and thorough with his teaching. With his years of experience he made me feel I was in the best possible hands which shows with me passing my test first time.

Can’t thank J Coates and there team enough for the last couple of weeks.

Thank you, John for all my road driving, Austin for my reversing test and Liam for my final day and test. You were all amazing.

Passed my C+E (Class 1) with only one minor fault after having superb tuition from instructors Simon and Liam.
Friendly, thoroughly knowledgeable, and can't thank them enough!

What an amazing experience.
My lessons were taken with Liam Daisley.
Absolutly superb, he was amazing, we had a laugh but also very serious moments.
I managed to pass first time due to the tips that he had gave me.
Highly recommend

Chris kept the course really interesting, and we learnt a lot. The whole course was professionally done.

J Coates is a brilliant training school. I got my Class 2 and Class 1 licences with them back in 2018, and I’ve continued to use them for my CPC training ever since.

A special thanks to Chris, as today is his last day with the company. I was lucky enough to spend the day doing my CPC course with him, and he was absolutely brilliant.

Thanks for all your help, Chris, and all the best for the future! 👏

Very clear, concise and informative training on drivers hours and regulations by Chris @JCoates 👏🏻

Another interesting course this is my second with Chris made the course interesting and very informative ,I did learn some new things on this subject.

Highly recommended training service

Here is a review ready to post in English:
"Passed my Category C+E test on the first attempt, and it’s all thanks to the team at J. Coates—especially my instructors, Liam and Austen. Their patience, professionalism, and clear instruction gave me total confidence behind the wheel. I highly recommend both J. Coates and these top-notch instructors to anyone looking to get their Class 1 license without the stress! Alex Balac

Absolutely over the moon to say I passed my cat c test today with only 3 points! 🚗🎉

A massive thank you to Liam, who has been absolutely brilliant throughout. He’s been so calm, patient and reassuring, which made such a difference and helped keep me calm too.

What an experience it has been! There have been plenty of nerves along the way, but today it all paid off.

Thank you so much, Liam — I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better instructor! 🙌👏

1st Time Pass for my Category C Driving Test!!!

I would like to give a massive thanks to Liam Daisley for teaching me so much in the short period of time given before the test date!

Liam knows his stuff on and off the road!

He gave clear instructions and advice throughout the training, and pointed out my weak points early on which allowed me to improve in these areas over the 3 days working up to the test!

I can honestly say, without the help of Liam sharing his knowledge and expertise I would have failed the test, but on the day I felt calm at ease and confident!

Exceptional training instructor and overall top bloke.

Thanks again!!!

Just completed my PSV Cat D Licence with J Coates (HGV Services) Ltd. My instructor was Austin in Northampton. I found Austin to be an excellent instructor who was able to explain things to me in a way that I was able to comprehend and gave me appropriate feedback allowing me to respond and develop my driving skills to which ultimately led to me passing the test.

Absolutely excellent staff, really encouraging trainers. The team were able to help me through some difficulties and get me to the optimal result. I could not have achieved what I did without the tutelage of those at J Coates. Thank you to Ben, Chris, Tristan and Alec

Hi good evening, my names Stuart and I had my reverse and fifth wheel training the other week and really nice bunch of lads, had my driving training this week I had Liam train me and generally was such a nice bloke really knows his stuff and is really
Helpful and explains everything perfectly I have dyslexia and he made my week so much easier. I passed with one minor which I’m over the moon with which also goes hand in hand with the trainer and trainee. If I seen him out in public I would buy him a drink. I’d recommend you guys 🤝
