I saw this advert on the internet , so made an enquiry . The response was quick,and very thorough and helpful . I booked an appointment, they turned up when they said and cleared my furniture . A very polite man and lady , very careful in the house . They did an excellent job . I will be using them again and would highly recommend them .

I arranged and booked the collection of my mattress in a 4 hour window as I was going away on a work trip that same day but kept getting messages saying they were going to be later and later. After I had left for my trip no collection attempt was made until the following day despite my already informing them that was an unsuitable time becauseI was not there. There was no communication between the company and myself to rearrange the collection for a time I was available, this was decided by the company themselves and they decided to make the attempt for time they knew was unsuitable and after several days of messaging back and forth they refused to refund my £40 deposit claiming their attempt to collect the mattress is a “wasted journey” which is true, but they knew that already because I had told them I was not available. Do not waste your time or money on this company.

I cannot respond to the reply so I am updating my review. I did leave the mattress outside on the Monday because I was told you were 30 minutes away when no attempt to collect the mattress was made on Monday and no communication was made I asked my housemate to bring it inside that night, he didn’t respond to my message so I was unsure if he had done this.

I did receive the message but was on a work trip and my signal was not great so responded as soon as I could asking if you had collected the mattress as I was unsure if my housemate had brought it inside the night before after you didn’t turn up to collect it. I DID NOT say my housemate would be at the house because he was also at work, these claims are false and an excuse for you to keep my deposit. I had told you more than once that collection on the Tuesday was not an option. You wanted to keep my deposit so you attempted to collect the mattress knowing that no one would be there. This company is a joke.

Have used them many times. They are ways prompt and polite. Offering a good cost effective service. Will use their services again.

I would have have not written much about my experience having moved passed the service received from the so called JunkMunch LTD and thank God the whatsapp conversation is available as proof if need be.
I was not in anyway abusive as replied by JunkMunch, I kept on saying the word" I feel really cheated" and disagree to the official leaving without refunding my deposit.
Okay, this was what happened;
I cleared my back garden and needed to dispose the waste as the property didn't subscribe to garden waste and I was unfortunate to come across JunkMunch, I sent a picture of my garden with packed waste full of thorns and I didn't want to injure my hand, so I took a picture and send via whatsapp, the official responded quoting 89£ and I seek clarification to be sure if its because it had to do with entering the property and packing the waste(as per labour cost) which was confirmed yes. So I proceeded to bear the injury and packed the waste outside the property into 10 bags and took a new picture and attached asking for a new quote having done the labour and the official reply with 40£ and that it can be higher if more than 100kg. so he sent a form for payment and I paid 40£.
Upon his arrival, he asked me for a balance and I was like I already paid the £40 charges as agreed because I already did the work by cutting off the labour which he insisted it made no difference.
I was unthinkably shocked, knowing that I got another offer from another client charging £46 , wondering how I ended up with this, I kept on clarifying how the message didn't communicate the agreement claimed and the 'I dont care' attitude of the guy was an eyesore, saying he doesnt care and will not refund as long as he made a trip.
He took his weighing machine and was leaving, so I tried to stop him from taking his weighing machine and my husband came out to come into things and pleaded that I let him go, seeing that he clearly was just being mean.
I also spoke to his female colleague, showed my our whatsapp conversation and she said she wished she could help but she's only a worker, the guy even tried to shut the girl up from talking and he's here writing up made up stories to reply me.
Again, I am writing to every aspiring users of JunkMunch Service, let him write his quote in clear terms as some gimmicks are in between and I am dissatisfied at such.
