I have used Know You More coaching twice and found both experiences invaluable. Each coach was able to sit alongside me to hear my story and to work with me in the direction I wanted to go. I still draw on the conversations we had and the insight it gave me to my world at that time. It was impactful as the intention is to move forward and that’s exactly what I was able to do. I have recommended the process to family, friends and colleagues and those who have accessed it have also been very positive.

I would certainly recommend this process. Having never had coaching before I have found that I have really benefitted from having someone completely objective to talk to. Ingrid was very supportive and non judgemental from the very start. When the circumstances of my work situation changed she was responsive and asked for additional sessions which have been absolutely vital. My confidence levels and my sense of self belief have definitely improved, thanks to our sessions together. Thank you Ingrid.

My coaching experience has offered me the opportunity to explore professional and personal experiences in a psychologically safe environment. The impact of two, two hour sessions has been extremely powerful and rewarding.

Structured but flexible & friendly coaching that helped me increase my time on task, set clear boundaries between work and personal life, and see patterns in myself I otherwise wouldn't have!

I had the opportunity through work to access a couple of taster coaching sessions. With the last couple of years in the NHS being as tough as you can imagine I jumped at this opportunity. It seemed my life outside of "work" was also becoming fast paced, with an upcoming house move, career examinations looming and general bits and bobs that life inevitably throws your way. So why not speak to someone about how I can manage this effectively and in a way that was positive and healthy.

I had two sessions with Kay Young. She was so brilliant. I came away from my sessions with exercises and techniques to improve my confidence and esteem - with the aim that I can tackle lives challenges with the belief that I can achieve them. Which for me, is vital for a sustainable and happy quality to my life.

This opportunity has opened my eyes to the benefits of having someone with the correct tools and appropriate "advice" . And in the future I can guarantee I will continue my journey with coaching / counselling / psychotherapy.

Response to my request for coaching was fast and well orglanised

My coach Lynn was amazing. She made me feel at ease straight away. She gave me tips on how to build my confidence at work after a long period of absence, and how to challenge my thought processes and beliefs. I have already recommended the coaching to my colleagues.

A very supportive experience that allowed me a safe space to explore my leadership skills and next steps on a 1:1 basis. Great to have dedicated time to stop, talk and think with an experienced coach. Thank you.

I found the 1:1 coaching extremely helpful at a time where I was questioning my career and whether I was right for my job role, especially since I was still quite new in my role. My coach Sarah was very supportive and the sessions helped me reflect and view things from a different perspective and take ownership of my behaviours and choices and make important changes within my practice. I have always wanted to help and support people, but I was doing it in a way where I was taking on far too much and not supporting or empowering them in their challenges. I am now more confident and mindful in my practice and see every challenge as an opportunity instead of a problem. I have enjoyed coaching so much I am now reading more about it and looking for ways I can continue in my professional and self-development journey.

Experiencing Coaching in a safe space,

The Know You More Team is full of people that want to make a difference in the world, starting with what they do best, providing opportunities for people to either develop their coaching skills or be coached by a team of professionals that share similar values.

The coaching came at the perfect time for me when I was still relatively new in role. My coach was incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. It really helped me focus and supported me on working through the way forward

Being part of the KYM community is a fabulous experience. I have been part of so many exciting coaching conversations! For me the social enterprise model of KYM is really important and I have welcomed the opportunity to give something back through pro-bono sessions and have thoroughly enjoyed coaching a number of young people in different sectors to those I would normally reach.
The CPD and supervision opportunities provided by KYM are fabulous and whenever I have a question there is always a quick and helpful response. As well as being a Coach with KYM I have also used KYM to provide coaching within my organisation - being a client has been an easy experience and I'd highly recommend it to others!

I didn't realise I needed this experience as much as I did until I took part in it. My sessions with Anne, my assigned coach, were so helpful. They created the space I needed to reflect on my experiences and look for solutions where necessary. Both on a personal and professional level. The methods and strategies we used were ideal for replicating with the rest of my school team. As a result, I continue to seek and engage in coaching opportunities and conversations.

I completed my coaching qualification with them and honestly one of the best experiences. Every person involved in the organisation is so amazing and people centred. I have learned so much from them and am inspired by the people.

I wasn't sure what to expect but I am greatly pleased with my sessions and the outcomes achieved. The time I spent with my assigned coach, Jo, was high quality and extremely important to my professional development. She helped me reflect on my desired outcomes and provided ideas and suggestions to help work toward them. I ended up implementing a couple of her suggestions beyond my immediate relationships to my wider team so I'm thrilled it had a knock on effect. Every manager needs a coach from time to time in their career and I am extremely pleased we were offered this service as resource.
