I ordered the Witham backpack in Tan. Wasn't sure about the colour when it arrived. Spoke to customer service and there was no quibbling. They were happy for me to exchange it for another colour. Now the proud owner of the black one and I love it. Wish all online companies were as easy to deal with.

Recently bought myself a Dee backpack and am already loving it. As a student and someone living in a city it is both perfect for carrying my laptop and books but also very practical for everyday usage. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a new everyday backpack.

Bought a Dee backpack for my daughter's school bag. It's very rare to get any praise from my 14 year old so when she told me that she really liked it because it fit all of her stuff in and was easy to carry around school I was a very delighted mum. And, it's recycled material too so doing my stuff for the environment.

Have bought a number of bags as presents. All my family have been impressed. Great quality.

I bought a kovered backpack -Taw canvas- middle July last year, inspired by the brand headline: “built for life”. Unfortunately I found the product quite rough at the beginning, my shoulder/armpit almost got scratched in summer, but I thought canvas had to get softened by wearing it and I carried on thinking: It’s built for life, let’s be patient! After only a few months of using the popper (the only that keeps the backpack closed for the 2022 design) came off and basically made it impossible to use. I was travelling at the time and it basically let me down, yet I kept a positive approach and been waiting for getting back in the UK in order to having it properly fixed in house, but sadly after sending an email to the customer service explaining what happened, the answer I received just left me speechless:
…“unfortunately we are unable to fix this issue for you in house.
I recommend that you take your bag so a local repair shop and they should be able to sort this for you!”
I thought it was a business with values of craft, durability and aftercare (they even send a certificate along the backpack saying that components are guaranteed for life) but unfortunately It’s only another corporate pretending to be a small business, in order to charge more money. Very sad.

Not had the products long but the bags look like they should last a long time.

Customer service is faultless, it is how John Lewis used to be, customer centric and first class.

Had a Humber bag that had a zip that did not meet my standards. The customer service team were quick to send out a replacement. Excellent!

Purchased a Satchel too, again good quality. Just the padding on the shoulder strap can't slide in the exact spot due to the buckle.

It's sounds like a we'll run company so you get that personal touch of customer service. These guys are the new benchmark for customer service. Read some of the reviews and it's true what everyone says.

Great bag for a great price. Great quality materials and looks and feels well made. Great for carrying a day's worth of stuff to work or on days out.

Only problem is that the strap is prone to slipping, and instead of constantly shortening the strap I have taken to sewing it in place.

I'm a little dubious about this company, they sent me a link to review my Taw backpack after purchase, which I completed and I've pasted below. This review was never displayed on their website, nor can I really find it anywhere (I'm copying it from the email sent to me to verify my review). I actually went back and reposted it assuming I'd made some kind of mistake, but it still didn't work. At any rate, my update as of now, plus the original review are below. My original rating would be four stars, my updated rating for the Taw backpack itself is three stars, but given the poor experience of reviewing, they lose an extra star.

Everything stands from the original review, but over time it feels like the 'floating' internal lining is getting a little slacker, so it is getting even more difficult to quickly place items in the bag as the pockets are gradually obstructing access even more, even when empty.

I would not recommend this bag.

I've had this backpack for a few months now and I'm generally happy with it. The material seems very study, and I do love the look. The main pocket is slightly narrower (in the dimension perpendicular to the back when worn) than I expected, but otherwise the size is as expected. A few small things do let it down in my opinion.

1. The lining of the main section is attached only at the top, so it is completely loose inside the bag. The result is that packing the bag can sometimes be a little difficult if the internal pockets are filled first, as they cause the lining to collapse into the bag (and also makes the bag hard to see into clearly).

2. The straps can cut in a little after a long time wearing.

3. I'm not totally sure about the sturdiness of the magnetic buttons themselves: the plate appears to be in two parts, and the outer part of one of the two that hold the front pocket closed fell off my bag almost immediately (unless it was never there). As the pocket is zipped, it still holds, but it's certainly not ideal.

First impressions are excellent. It’s a great looking practical bag. Unfortunately it ripped after only a few weeks of normal use, with the handle separating from the bag. Despite numerous web forms and emails I’ve had no response. It appears the ‘guarantee’ is non existent. I took the bag to be repaired myself which shows I like the bag but is very disappointing. As much as it’s a great bag I wouldn’t buy another and can’t recommend to anyone else.

We ordered a bag some weeks ago, during the Royal Mail strike, to be delivered to Australia. I contacted Kovered when it didn't arrive and they were very concerned, but given the strike, asked us to wait a little longer. When it still didn't come, they quickly dispatched another via a courier. This one arrived just one week later! Amazingly, the first bag arrived the next day (after 7 weeks in transit). The recipient of the bag is delighted with this excellent quality gift and we are delighted with the care and concern and great customer service of the team at Kovered, especially when they are dealing with circumstances beyond their control. Had my bag for almost 2 years without any complaints, one of the zips became faulty and after contacting customer services and provided evidence, I was sent a new replacement bag the same week. Excellent customer service and so happy with my bag that I’ve bought a hold-all as well.
