This bag is lovely. Well made, heavy and looks great. I made an error with my order and contacted customer care. They couldn’t be more helpful and resolved my issue quickly.

I love the Taw backpack, it is so stylish and I get so many compliments from people when I’m out and about! I love the roll top as i feel my belongings are extra safe and secure. Amazing quality for the price, thank you!

I bought the Witham canvas backpack. It is an exceptionally lovely bag, very spacious and great design. And above all and most importantly, it is sustainable sourced. The company offers good customer service.

Not sure how these bags are getting good reviews. Only positive thing I could say is they look good.
Practicality is terrible.
I bought the Taw
It has 2 open pouches on the front, when it rains water just goes straight INTO them. Same as the side pockets, they get filled with water. The side pockets are also not big enough for a standard water bottle.
The backing of the bag is flimsy so it folds on half on your back.
If you use the front pouch for a book it then makes it hard to use the bottom of sack. As it takes up the space of the sack.You have to empty the front to use the sack.
Not for walks, not for travel, not for the rain.
You can get bags that look just as good but are also practical elsewhere.
Made just for looks for advertising.

I recently bought this bag and wow, so many pockets! For its size, this is an incredibly practical bag which is easy to pack and unpack, especially the main section which can open out a bit like a suitcase. All this whilst looking like a stylish dare I say hipster styled bag. I originally bought one for when I travel into the office, because of the many pockets and separate sections, but I've now just bought a second for day-to-day life as I liked it so much. I only wish there was a colour slightly between the navy and the black, but that is hardly a gripe.

The backpack got wet a second time, and the stains returned, so I contacted Kovered again, who were excellent. I can't fault their customer service at all. They've promised to replace the bag, so I'm going to up my review to five stars. I always believe that if you stand behind your products, even if they are not perfect you deserve maximum kudos.

Bought a Kovered Taw waxed backpack, and absolutely love the style, and mostly it's a great backpack.

Pros:
- Nice looking
- Large enough for most laptops
- Comfortable to wear
- Spacious

Cons:
- The lining isn't stitched in, so when you pull something out, the lining comes with it. A prolapsed backpack is not great when you're using it somewhere public or busy.
- The lining pockets are useless, as they move all over the place inside
- Although it was advertised as being suitable for a 17" laptop, it doesn't fit in the laptop pocket inside so it just ends up taking up the whole bag
- The waxing is not very good quality, the bag got wet and now it looks awful as the rain has permanently stained the light parts of the bag.
- The magnetic clips are designed poorly, so you spend ages trying to marry both sides together so they stick.

To be fair to Kovered, they offered to replace it, but recommended not getting the same colour as the staining is likely to happen again. I feel like they should have faith in their products, and should resolve the issue rather than just accept that their customers will end up with a dirty and stained looking bag.

I can't recommend getting one, at all. You'd be better just getting a cheap Chinese one from AliExpress and throwing it away when it gets too stained. Absolute shame, as it looked nice, most faults notwithstanding.

The bag is exceptional for the price. It's made its debut as a hospital bag for me as a birth partner for the missus full of food, my pillow and books for when she does the hard work any minute now. Will be using this for a long weekend to Dublin next month for a mates wedding when inevitably I'll have to fill it with gifts for the guilt trip I'll feel leaving the baby and the missus. Great company this selling quality products. Sorry I didn't ever get an email to allow me to leave a review about the actual nag on the site but am not sure if that's as I paid through PayPal. I'll be getting a backpack next from these 100%. Thank you!

Can I add to my praise of Kovered ? When I last posted they were sending me a replacement strap for the backpack . It arrived promptly but the magnetic fastening was the wrong ‘gender’ .When I e mailed to ask whether it would be possible to have the correct one the response was ‘ send us back your old backpack and we ll send you a new one ‘. It gets better. Somehow they got hold of a previous address and posted the backpack there. When I got in touch , they posted out another new backpack right away to the correct address and said they d sort out the other one .The new one has arrived . I can honestly say I have never had such brilliant customer service anywhere , ever!

I ordered a Taw backpack. The product was great, very sturdy and stylish. However, I discovered a catch in the lining that caused a problem with one pocket. I contacted the company and they immediately organised a replacement. Top customer service. Really pleased with the bag.

After searching high & low for a smart looking carry bag I stumbled upon the Mersey Waxed Canvas Messenger Bag from Kovered! A hassle free purchase experience saw my bag turn up in New Zealand within no time at all. The bag is exactly like the photos. Its sharp looking, great quality, the right size and very practical with the various compartments. A personalized note in the bag that it had been packaged by "Ben" was a nice touch. Would highly recommend this bag for a smart casual work or weekend look.

I spent a number of months looking for a a messenger bag and settled on the medway from Kovered, I purchased about 2 months ago and it arrived within 2 days, its great, fits all my stuff for work. I loved it so much I went and brought a Kovered backpack as well.

About a week ago the zip started to fail on my messenger bag, not a big issue as I usually use the buttons, however I did email Kovered a couple of picture and no questions asked they sent me a replacement. Great customer service

Great products. I have the Humber and the Tamar. Shipping was amazingly fast. I love the Humber. The quality and design exceeded my expectations.

Great experience. Ordered on a Sunday. Delivery in Germany on Tuesday. Great experience with the customer service and fast responses. The product looks great and feels great.

Have now received two bags from this company and both are great, utilising durable materials and offering a nice style.

I experienced some delivery issues with the second bag but Abbi provided superb customer service, really going above and beyond (sending a replacement on next day delivery, contacting the courier and tracking the delivery status first thing on Monday morning).

Really love the bags and excellent customer service too!!

As a customer of kovered who recently bought a backpack, I wanted to post a review on their website about the ceap strap which makes the backpack uncomfortable while carrying it.
One month later, they still haven't uploaded the review on their website, which means they only accept good reviews to be shown on their website. It is highly fraudulent as it manipulates the buying decision of new customers. By commenting here I wanted to create awareness of how this company acts on their customers.

Like the backpack, very nice rustic and unique style. Feels and looks good quality. Was using it for 5 years until one of the magnetic clasp failed. Contacted the customer service for possible part replacement and they solved my issue in the blink of an eye. I was left happy customer. Very quick response and instant service. And did I mentioned that love the backpack.

I needed a new backpack for work and ordered from this company. When the bag arrived I was dissapointed. The quality was not what I'd expect for a £50 back. The material was low quality and it was just a basic, cheap bag. I returned it and had to contact the company to follow up on the return. They responded, but didn't answer my query. Instead, they asked the reason for the return. Long story short, they had the bag and knew they needed to process the refund but didn't - which meant I had to chase them twice.
