Beautiful dresses and great customer service!

I absolutely love these dresses! The quality is brilliant AND they have pockets!!
I only started wearing them in November and now have 10 and get so many compliments on all the patterns.
Lyra style is probably my favourite as the wrap style top half makes it super easy for breastfeeding a little one!
I'll certainly be buying more and I recommend them any chance I get!

Delivery has always been super speedy too x

Miserable experience all round. Stressful to deal with, battle to get refunds, and dreadful quality dresses. I will not be adding to my collection again.

This used to be my favorite store but the selection, service, and quality has been declining rapidly. I have a large collection of older dresses from them that I LOVE. Beautiful prints with amazing silhouettes. I even wore an Isabelle style dress to my own wedding! Unfortunately, I've ordered twice in the past year and the dresses are not the same. The fabric is much cheaper, there's way less to choose from, and customer service questions are unanswered. The fabric is now super soft and stretchy, and for me it now falls lifelessly down in unflattering ways, heavy and floppy. It's no longer the wearable art, just a normal dress that could likely be found anywhere. Very disappointed.

Awful quality of clothes, no wonder they have a ridiculous time frame to return with no leniency. Avoid at all cost.

I bought two dresses in the Christmas sale. At £35 each, they were discounted, but not excessively cheap. I love their woodland designs, the hedgehog dress in particular I fell in love with!

The quality was awful. The stitching was wonky, and the Lyra dress had visible seams down the front: it looked like they’d been snagged, but it was just sewn that way. The Arabella fabric felt like swimming costume material. I own many polyester dresses, but this is a particularly nasty quality one.

I sent photos and was sent a prepaid label, but no response to me asking if it was a bad batch.

I can only assume all the dresses are therefore that poorly made.

A real shame, as I bought one of their dresses preowned, several years ago, and it’s gorgeous, and washed and worn well. They seem to have begun to cut corners in production.

Can’t fault their customer service, though, I was refunded promptly, just disappointing to be down £3.99 and not get the beautiful designs they show on the website.

I have been a customer of Lady v Lonon for years...............I must have over 100 dresses. I am reading the reviews and got to say, they are pretty pathetic. I got some dresses 10 years old and they wash well....keep the shape keep the colour. If I buy something from another company I am always disapointed and go back to lady v london. If needed I will show you the wardrobe I have of dressed......I even got a bag full I am going to sell as they dont fit me any more.

It should have raised a red flag or two that there are no reviews on the website, but clearly I was not being a smart shopper that day.

Items arrived in a reasonable time frame, however the fabric looks and feels very cheap, which is not what I was expecting for the price paid. There was a noticeable difference between the size 10 garments although the styles were similar. I have purchased from this company before and got a good quality vintage-style tea dress: they appear to be moving toward plasticy polyester jersey for most of their styles so I would carefully consider what you're bying.

Returns are at the customer's expense, which is quite frankly a rubbish tactic to get less invested people to keep sub-par merchandise.

Lady v accused me of trying to commit credit card fraud when trying to return an incorrectly sized items.

Avoid as they are obviously the ones acting dishonesty.

I bought Red floral border-Day dress. It's so pretty, true to it's size, made of old fashioned cotton, not polyester like most clothes nowadays. And it has pockets! And fast shipping to Finland. I'm very happy of my purchase!

I was almost put off by the other bad reviews but I’d been looking for a black velvet dress with this cut for ages! The Lyra dress is perfectly cut for my apple shape 16-18 figure. It can be so difficult to find something flattering with my body shape. So I took the chance and ordered, so glad I did. I erred on side of caution and went for 18. It’s a perfect fit. The dress isn’t lined but the skirt is really full, super comfy with a small amount of stretch and it has pockets! Perfect. The delivery by Royal Mail was quick too, I got dress within 3 days or order. I’ll use this site again.

Ordered and paid for a Christmas dress fir Christmas day in plenty if time to arrive in NZ. After a month I made contact. Sorry we lost it in the post! Does that even happen nowadays with tracking? No option of another dress. Blaming the company they use for international orders, will never buy from them again. Crap service and judging by the other reviews, rubbish quality 🙄

I ordered 2 dresses after 2 weeks still not arrived so checked tracking and been sent back.. this is not first time iv ordered and have always received. When I checked 8 addresses on their system and the one they used had 1 wrong number in post code, so I deleted that off system and reordered as they wouldn't resend only to reuse the wrong postcode and refunded but not postage so I'm down a dress and £8

Rude unhelpful customer service assistant. Steer well clear.

Customer service non-existent, phone number just goes to mail box which states 'full'. DPD which they use has lost my parcel and struggling to get anyone to reply to emails ect. Paid for next day delivery a week ago now, joke. This is the second time now in a row.
Lady V? What is happening, this used to be a great online shop, with fantastic clothes and service...what's gone wrong over past year???

It used to be a fabulous shop from about 2012-2021. The last 2 years the quality, variety and the customer service sank and the prices increased. For the past 5*, currently 3*. 2 months ago, I placed an order and a discount code didn't work. I mentioned it in the form checkbox, but it was ignored. The shipping is not very reasonable and very slow.

Perfect. I ordered 2 different dresses in two sizes just in case. They fit perfectly in the size I expected. I’m curvy and short. The mini dresses are perfect, just to the knee. Super good quality. Arrived on time. Amazing. I ordered 6 more on different styles. That’s me for the next two Summers! Thrilled x

Awful.I ordered a dress which was delivered on 6th jan,lovely dress but didn’t fit so I went online to return for free as advertised via Royal Mail however there was an error message saying Royal Mail could not find the company.I emailed several times and was assured this would be “fixed” and the company suddenly now have a new website which now states returns are at the customer expense.I am now well outside of my returns period with no contact at all from the company and a dress that doesn’t fit

Slow and dismissive customer service - I reached out on 3rd December about a tracking number that didn't work and a missing parcel, the response was "it's been delivered here's the tracking number and link" and lo and behold it's the same not-working tracking number and I still have no parcel. All subsequent attempts to contact customer service have been ignored. I used to sing this company's praises and recommend it always , I have numerous dresses, but now I wouldn't recommend it to someone I hated.

I just happened upon this website, browsed the dresses, ordered four that were on sale and crossed my fingers that they would fit. Not only did they arrive in less than one week, they fit perfectly and are so unique and adorable! I just ordered 4 more (and qualified for free shipping!)
