Worse lawn service EVER! They promised you a lot of lies to get your service… LAWN DOCTOR did more harm to the lawn and now I have to go and pay someone to have 1/2 of my grass replaced. DO NOT trust this Company! I can see why now they only have a 3.6 rating. I should of read reviews before I committed to their service. I cancel my service after spending close to $300. SAVE your money and listen to reviews.

I just called this company and ask some questions I didnt confirm with them and several days later somebody without telling me fertilize and weed killer my yard when I noticed I called them and ask why you send sombody without confirm with me. They killed all grass instead of weeds, and weeds got double.

I want everyone to know that if you have landscape yard, with no grass and you use these company for weed control don’t, I found out they come out look for about 5 minutes and leave. I ask the young man who came out about this and he looked like a deer in the headlights, he could not answer any questions I asked him. I did get a refund for one treatment, but now I wonder how many times they came here and did nothing. And please don’t call corporate they can’t do anything. Bottom line use some one else.

Spent over $1,200 on power seeding fall of 2021. Now a full year later with the continuous fertilizer plan our lawn does not look much better than before, maybe a 10% improvement. Large bare areas in the front and on the sides (and yes, we have and use a sprinkler system).

The mosquito treatment was effective, so that was good. Also, the crabgrass was minimal this year so that also gets good marks.

The $1200 power seeding - that was a waste of $.

Lawn Doctor is the worst company I have dealt with in years. My lawn looked great this spring. But now half of it's just dirt. I called a technician out and they told me to change the sprinklers and aerate the lawn both of which I did. Their response was to reseed the yard next year!! The technicians broke planters and solar lights. Customer service was terrible!!!! No offer to replace anything. I've requested a full refund. Next step is Corporate and the district attorneys office. STAY AWAY FROM LAWN DR.

They're OK if your lawn has a virus ... but don't expect good results if you ask them to take care of weeds. They came out 3 times for my weeds and when I called them back and explained to them that the same weeds that were there to begin with still hadn't been killed they wanted to charge me again. We have cameras so we watched them apply the weed killer and they missed areas and in my opinion did not apply enough weed killer - these folks are as bad as Truegreen when it comes to weeds - don't recommend them at all.

Worst customer service from the office through the technicians. My lawn was beautiful. I just used them for the applications. What could go wrong?
Everything! Slowly the yard started turning brown with big patches of no grass. They not only killed the grass but also dug up the yard with their heavy machines. They also would not take any responsibility for the damage done to my lawn. They even broke my gate bringing in their equipment and tried to blame it on me. Beware, now I need a lawn plastic surgeon.

L.D used to ne good. It did help to rid my lawn of crabgrass and other weeds. And its prices were affordable and reasonable. But since they have this weird habit of canceling visits and sleathily raising prices they have lost my business. I can no longer afford them or tolerate the negative effects to my lawn

I hired The Lawn Doctor to treat and maintain my lawn, but they didn't do that.
I told them numerous times that my lawn was yellowing all over and something was wrong with it and they kept telling me my lawn was fine when in fact it wasn't. I had another company come out and look at it and the technician told me that my whole yard has fungus. I hired that company on the spot and fired The Lawn Doctor. The new company has been around for more than 50 years. They weren't even treating my grass for weeds and I was paying them to do so. Customers do yourselves a favor and don't hire The Lawn Doctor unless you want to go through what I went through. I could have lost my whole lawn because of them. I won't recommend them to anyone.

After researching numerous lawn companies to help get a lawn going in my backyard, Lawn Doctor assured me that they could do it. I took all of their recommendations, including 2K work of tree trimming, mulch removal, and rock removal. They pretreated the soil, aerated, and power-seeded last fall. The lawn looked great a few months after seeding.

Fast forward to this year: the lawn that they planted almost completely dead. I followed all watering instructions that they gave me. In addition, the weed control that they put on the rest of the lawn did absolutely nothing.

When asked about it, they stated that the yard could not grow grass because of rocks in the soil. There are a few small rocks, but they assured me at the beginning that that would not be a problem at all. I had this on an email and sent it to them. If they had told me this in the beginning, then I would not have gone with them. They then stopped making any sort of contact with me after I started asking questions about this. I finally had to cut ties with them as they refused to work on the lawn or even contact me anymore.

So after about 3K spent to get a nice lawn over the past year, I still have weeds in the existing lawn and the new lawn is slowly becoming nonexistent.

Please be careful if you hire these guys. I was taken advantage of.

After 35 years of trying different lawn services with very little success and a lot of wasted money we finally tried Lawn Doctor and one year of using them our lawn is now the envy of the neighbor hood. I highly recommend Lawn Doctor, you won't believe the difference!

I have been using Lawn Doctor for 2 years. My backyard is almost dead. The grass has slowly
thinned out and died. Would not recommend !!!

Awful service they burnt my lawn all brown spots . They never came to look at it. Don’t use this company

I hesitate to even give 1 star. The service was terrible, and damaged my lawn by spilling chemicals that killed a large patch in the front yard.

In the back yard we have a bad case of brown patch, which they did not identify, comment on or treat.

Attempts to contact them were fruitless. They are not responsive at all.

Do not hire this lousy company or you will regret.

I have used lawn doctor for over a year now and finally canceled this service since my lawn looks worse than when we started. They said after several treatments that several of the patches of weeds would dissipate and we would have a nice lawn. They charge quite a bit for no results. The one thing they are good at is showing up every quarter to quickly spray your yard, give you the bill and drive off. Used them years ago and they were great. Not anymore. I will find someone else or do it myself.

Good experience for me all around. Our lawn looks nice and the staff was friendly. I see a lot of negative comments but didn't have any of the same issues.

Last year I decided to address my neglected lawn. I called and subscribed to their service. On top of the regular subscription I paid to have the lawn aerated as well as having the lawn reseeded. Afterwards, they came out to do a weed and feed with defective equipment which left about 6" zig-zag patterns all over the lawn that burned the grass right down to the dirt, some of which is still evident this year. They gave me a song and dance about how they were going to take care of it, and then blew me off. So I paid extra to have a nice lawn, they took my money, and then screwed me over. Avoid the Lawn Doctor unless you don't care what your lawn looks, they don't.

The man treating the house next door became aggravated by our barking dog in our fenced in backyard. Though separated by a fence, the man approached our dog, made the comment “don’t make me spray you” then repeatedly sprayed our dog on the face. When confronted, the man answered “Why didn’t you get your damn dog if you knew it was barking.” Unprofessional and completely unacceptable!

Absolute worst experience. I paid this company to destroy my lawn. They also charge me for seeding my lawn after they destroyed it. I will never use or recommend this company ever! Don't waste your $$$
