No nonsense online service. John, with a minimum of fuss, directed me in what was needing to be done and successfully dealing with a CCJ on my credit report due to a parking fine sent to the wrong address. All this in the face of glacial incompetence.

If you are a practising regulated barrister then why does your name not appear on the bar standards board register of actual practicing barristers ?

To be able too lawfully offer litigation services you need to either be regulated or be employed by a regulated entity. To perform litigation services for a member of the public without such may be regarded as a criminal offence.

Neither Lawyers4u nor John Abraham appear to be regulated by either the Bar standards Council nor the Sra .

I find it extremely unlikely that someone would pass the bar exams then fail to actually practice the law in a proper regulated way out of choice .

Given that you are not on the barristers register nor a barristers chambers you should not claim to be so.

I googled this company - they claim to be "barristers at law" on companies house but when I searched for barristers chambers by this name there is no record of them . John Abraham the owner is not registered as a Barrister or a Solicitor . So I don't know how they can claim to be Lawyers ?

I 100% recommend lawyers4u. I received a CCJ because of communication breakdown between courts, and paper work not received when the court changed from one address to another. Because of the breakdown in communication from the court I was at first a little hesitant and thought I could defend myself. Thank goodness I used John who was so very helpful, approachable and professional in handling the case. John put together a N244 form that I was completely too emotional and on the wrong path. The whole process including drafting and submitting the application was completed in a short period of time. I will hopefully have the CCJ set aside but I wanted to write today as I feel a weight has been taken off my shoulders.
