Nu een paar dagen in het bezit van de Amsterdam Urban Ebike en enorm tevreden. Het is een stevige en mooie fiets, de versnellingen zorgen dat ik snel weg ben en niet onnodig veel trap op lange rechte stukken. Service bij LEKKER was top, heel goed en snel geholpen. Al met al enorm tevreden!

The battery seating on our new Lekker has never functioned properly from Day One. Since the purchase in June 25, Lekker has twice sent me a replacement metal clip, but the battery still does not sit in properly. As a precaution, I use cable ties to ensure it doesn't pop out. Given that there are a number of complaints on this issue, both on here and on Lekker's site, it seems to be a manufacturing defect. Otherwise, we like the bike.

This Bike looks clean, has very good Quality and makes a lot of fun.

Mein Lekker Amsterdam macht mir von Anfang an Ärger.
Laute Bremsgeräusche . Bremsbeläge mehrmals abgeschliffen später durch andere Marke ersetzt.Nachlassende Bremswirkung hinten. Bremse immer wieder entlüftet , keine Besserung.
Stösselschraube am Bremsgriff hatte sich gelöst.
Speichenbruch hinten .Speiche erneuert
50Km später Speichenbruch und Seitenschlag .Felge(Org.Ersatzteil)und neue Speichen montieren lassen .
10 Km später Kabelbruch zum Motor .20Km später Motorschaden.Ob ich mir das Lekker GTS kaufe werde ich mir genau überlegen.
Leider zeigt sich Lekker gar nicht kulant.

We bought a Lekker bike in about 2019, the bike has continued to do everything we ask of it as a daily commuter for many years and then a kid carrier. Recent after sales technical support has been fantastic. I would not hesitate in recommending Lekker or to buy again.

I have purchased a Lekker Amsterdam GTS in September 2025 and have used it for commuting to work, 14 km one way.

I have been looking forward a lot to this bike, since the combination of robust frame, touring geometry, soft tires, internal gear hub and specially Gates belt drive has been my dream list.

The experience is rather mixed, though.

I have immediately noticed that the rear brake touches the disk intermittently no matter how I adjust the caliper. Upon more thorough inspection I could see that even though the brake rotor is flat the machined surface where it attaches to is not flat. So the disc is somewhat warped when tightened and touches. Not a great quality for a 3000 EUR item.

Some of the screws meant for bottle holders were hand tightened, I have nearly lost them. Noticed and tightened them.

The long bolts meant for belt tightening tension have been bent heavily from the factory. Not a great quality for a 3000 EUR bike.

Today the left crank arm has simply fallen off during riding. The center bolt holding the crank arm in place hasn't been tightened properly and it has fallen off and is not lost. I have only noticed that the entire crank arm and pedal falls off mid riding, I have nearly crashed.

Now I am unable to use the bike, it is parked in my shed. I have ordered a couple of crank bolts, but I would expect that bolts and nuts are tightened and secured on a 3000 EUR bike.

The crankset is a vital part of the bike, almost like an engine part in a car. The crankset failing after approximately 600 km riding on a brand new bike is a bit bad.

I have lost the confidence in the bike, I am not sure what will give up next time.
I don't want to bash the brand, but I have simply expected much higher quality from such an expensive item.

I think the customer service is very good. I got a battery upgrade for the same price. I think the Jordaan Bike Urban is a beautiful bike. It's a lovely olive green color.

Regarding the bike, I'm happy that I can just barely reach the ground for someone my size.

I've to get used to padeling harder compared to my last bike, which had a front motor. I now constantly ride in the highest gear. But the bike rides fine.

I like the double kickstand and the handlebar lock when stationary.

I noticed that my pannier was touching the spokes a bit, and that was because the tip of my pannier was slightly bent and the weight wasn't distributed properly. Maybe I should look into a protector.

Great customer services

Got my shiny new Lekker Amsterdam GTS the other day, rode it 26klm's home from the local bike shop.
I had debated for some time about an electric bike, but increasing arthritis in my spine made up my mind for me.
Normally a 26klm ride would really give my back a work over, but the new, more upright and relaxed, position on the GTS changed my world.
I could now enjoy the ride and get to look around rather than punching through a head wind, (most of the way home).
Most of the trip was done on level 3 with only one steep section on level 5, more so to see how it felt.

The Gates belt drive combined with the Enviolo hub are a great combination.
Riding with the Bafang motor feels like I have a constant tail wind.

I really wanted a bike that was clean, simple and very light on maintenance, this is why I chose the GTS.
The more relaxed riding position has changed my riding world.

I had a couple of questions for Lekker about some add on's, got really prompt replies and great service.
The team at Lekker sorted all my requests ASAP with no corporate natter, just, "What do you need and when do you need it".

I use the GTS for a daily commute and a weekend run a round as I don't own a car.

I can't praise the Lekker team for the wonderful after market care they give to their product.

Highly recommended. I was supported through every step of the purchase, received fast help whenever I needed it, and the bike has been great — three years later it still rides perfectly.

LEKKER Bikes is a great company. The service is perfect and the employees are kind and helpful. And most important...the bikes are so beautiful and comfortable. I bought the Jordaan Urban eBike, the first one with a frontrack which wasn't yet in production. I could buy the prototype, otherwise I had to wait 3 months! Last week I could change the rack for one out production which was adjusted and easier to use.

Habe vor einem Jahr ein Lekker Bike gekauft und bin rundum zufrieden. Auf Fragen zum Rad gab es immer schnell eine Antwort.

Great bike but one common issue apparently with the battery holder that got broken after 2weeks and cannot be repaired .

I really like the look and feel of the Lekker Amsterdam GT — it’s stylish, well built, and the price point is very reasonable. However, the combination of the belt drive and Enviolo hub hasn’t worked well for me. I lose too much traction and power on hills, and the belt starts making quite a bit of noise when it gets dusty on trails. It’s a great city bike, but less suited for trails or hilly rides.

Zeer snelle en servicegerichte reactie van de klantenservice van LEKKER, zelfs in het weekend. Erg tevreden over de snelheid en inhoud van de geboden oplossing voor mijn probleem.

I asked Lekker to send me a bike rack in September - it arrived promptly. All my interactions with Lekker have been excellent.
I am thoroughly enjoying riding my Lekker E-Bike. Because it makes riding so enjoyable I am riding more than 4 or 5 times more than I was on my old basic bike.
