Überschreitung der Lieferzeit
Aus einer Lieferzeit von 3- 4 Wochen sind uns insgesamt 9 Wochen geworden und das E-Bike kam nicht so an, wie bestellt.
Schade und auch sehr, sehr ärgerlich!

Unkompliziert und zuverlässig
Die Lieferung hat etwas länger gedauert als angegeben, ca. 1 Woche, was für mich aber ok war. Die Leute im Laden sind sehr nett, nehmen sich Zeit und versuchen zu helfen.
Das Fahrrad ist super, bisher keinerlei Beanstandungen.
Ich würde es weiter empfehlen.

great customer service
I have an e-bike from a different manufacturer but Lekker is the Australian distributor for AtranVelo accessories, and I was after one of their front racks and AVS trays. Got great customer service at the North Melbourne store, so very pleased with them in that regard.

Best bike shop
Went into the Melbourne store for lekker bikes a couple days ago, the customer service was excellent the worker Tom in store was extremely helpful and seemed to know pretty much everything about the bikes,
I will definitely be purchasing a bike in future and getting it serviced at Lekker

Excellent Bike and Outstanding Support Team!
I’m very satisfied with my Lekker Amsterdam GTS. The bike rides beautifully and feels solidly built. The Pinion gears shift smoothly, and although the bike is a bit heavy, the Bafang motor easily makes up for it. I’ve been riding it for only five days now, but I already love it and hope it will last for many years.
Customer support has been excellent – super friendly, quick to respond, and genuinely helpful. They really make the difference!

Exceptional service.
Delivery was exceptionally fast. The bike came fully assembled with just some packaging to remove. There was even some charge in the battery so we could give it a bit of a test ride. Excellent

Nog steeds geen fiets, inmiddels wel
Op 17 sept 2025 heb ik een Lekker Urban besteld. 3 weken levertijd.
Bestellen via de site ging heel snel en soepel incl een paar extra’s maar…
Inmiddels zijn we 5 weken verder en zeker 10 mailtjes maar nog steeds GEEN fiets helaas..!!!
Inmiddels een kleine week verder en een prachtige Lekker Amsterdam Urban afgeleverd. Vanmiddag eerste ritje door Nijmegen!!

Das Amsterdam GTS ist ein tolles Rad
Das Amsterdam GTS fährt sich super, bin jetzt 400 km (seit Mitte September) problemlos gefahren. Sehr freundliche Bedienung bei der Probefahrt und Bestellung.
Einen Stern ziehe ich ab weil der gelieferte Akku defekt war, aber auch mit dem dann neu gelieferten Akku funktionierte das Rad nicht.
Bei der dann in Berlin durchgeführten Reparatur( loses Kabel im Rahmen ) war man wieder sehr freundlich und hat mir ohne Nachfrage einen Gutschein angeboten.
Ich würde mir das Rad wieder kaufen.

The massive delay (promised beginning…
The massive delay (promised beginning of May - delivered mind August) keeps a bitter taste. I understand the supply issues but any further (weekly) status update and ETA was not communicated at its best.
The bike is nice and I enjoy it a lot!

Amsterdam 8 speed bike
Overall the Amsterdam 8 speed bike is great.
2 issues have with relate to the spokes and gear changes.
I have had at around 8-10 rear spokes give way in the 12 months I have owned the bike. They give way where they connect to the hub. Either they are not rated to carry the rider weight (up to 120kgs) and I have to check prior to riding that they are all intact.
Gears - After selecting a gear change sometimes I will only change after a few pedal rotations and slips as you pedal giving you an uneasy feeling as it engages especially as you are applying pedal pressure.
Probably need to arrange for more spokes to have in case.

Regarding the spokes, this model is rated for up to 100 kg (rider + load). Over time, spoke tension can naturally settle — especially if some spokes have been replaced — so we recommend having the wheel re-tensioned by a qualified mechanic to prevent further breakage.
For the gears, Shimano’s Nexus 8-speed hub requires easing off pedal pressure during shifts. Shifting under load can cause the delay or “slip” you described and may affect long-term performance. Regular servicing and cable adjustment help keep it smooth.

Ich habe über Lekker Bikes ein ABUS Bordo 6200 Faltschloss bestellt, das auf der Website als geeignet für einen Apple AirTag beworben wurde („clever verstecktes Fach für AirTag oder SmartTag“).
Tatsächlich ist das Schloss nicht für AirTags geeignet: Der AirTag hält nicht fest, ist sichtbar und Witterung ausgesetzt. Auch ABUS bestätigte mir, dass es sich nicht um ein funktionales Fach handelt. Die Angaben auf der Webseite sind somit faktisch falsch und für mich irreführend, da ich ein Schloss mit AirTag Fach benötigte.
Der Kundenservice versuchte sich mehrfach herauszureden, machte widersprüchliche Aussagen, anstatt mir wirklich zu helfen und machte sich in E-Mails sogar über meine rechtlichen Hinweise lustig. Eine Lösung ist bis jetzt noch nicht gefunden. Ich habe selten so einen schlechten Support erlebt...
Die Produktbeschreibung ist irreführend, und der Support hinterlässt einen unprofessionellen und unzuverlässigen Eindruck. Ich hoffe, Lekker Bikes verbessert künftig sowohl die Produktinformationen als auch den Kundenservice.

We contacted ABUS right after your comment, and it turns out they made a mistake — they didn’t include the attachment needed to fit your AirTag with the product. They’ve apologized for this and are sending us the missing parts to make the AirTag/GPS solution work properly.
Unfortunately, ABUS sent out a few batches of locks - not only to us - without this component.
First of all, a big apology from ABUS, and thank you for catching this issue! This allows us to check our stock to ensure no other locks are missing the same part.
