I received my life assure kit quickly. I have not had a reason to use it yet, but I am sure that should that time come I will get great help and service.
The device works well, and the odd time I've dropped it, the response has been very prompt and understanding.

I have fallen 14 times since Christmas. I have a balance problem for which the doctors have not been able to discover the cause. Yesterday when I fell my pendant went off immediately and some one was speaking to me within 2 seconds. I told them I was fine and did't need assistance. My family decided to call the ambulance, so I contacted Life Assure again with my pendant and told them we had changed our mind. They called for the abulance immediately.
My only concern is with the pendant, which only Automatically called for help on three of my 14 falls.
As I never was unconscious during any of these falls I was able to push the button if I so choosed.

Got a pendant for my mother. The pendant is VERY sensitive - just getting off the sofa or sitting down (while not hitting anything) can set it off. That could be a positive thing so was fine with it, just surprised.
Had to get help installing the app as it is VERY buggy. My sister had similar issues on a different Android phone. Both of our phones are less than 2 years old and common brands like Samsung Galexy. Eventually we both just turned on text notifications from the app and did not use the app as it kept crashing and my phone wanted it to be put into deep sleep due to draining the battery.
We then found the battery in the pendant would not last more than 12 hours - we twice needed to contact support, who have limited hours M-F, when in the presence of the pendant, to reprogram it. Neither time the reprogramming worked.
Then a new pendant was to be sent but did not arrive so called and they wanted old pendant back first. Nope. Not taking a safety device that we are paying for off my mum that does not work as advertised and sending back and waiting for a new one - that would take at a minimum 10 days based on shipping and processing that our mum would be without.
They eventually sent a replacement pendant and I set it up on a Saturday and customer service was not open and the person who answered the pendant call did not know how to return the broken one. Also new pendant does not work in their Life Assure app - only shows the old pendant information.
On my 3rd try, I got through to Life Assure today and the lady, while nice, told me there are no issues with the app, had to send me a new invite to monitor the new pendant and then she waited while I tried to get the app to work which did not end up opening at all in the end. The app still is crashing despite Uninstalling and rebooting my phone during the process! As I called at 12:30pm PDT and they close at 2pm PDT, there is nothing they can do to help for today.
As a disabled former Senior Product Manager for a software company who has also done a lot of customer support for the company's customers in both Canada and the USA (we were open 6am - 9pm PDT), Life Assure Canada and its support line/software is AWFUL.
YES, the emergency feature works and someone calls you to verify that no one has not fallen. That is good.
Everything else we have gone through in the last 2 months has been a nightmare and I cannot wait until we can return the pendant (and the one that does not work) and we can be done with this company.
Also tired of being "upsold" on insurance and donations when I call in for support.
Life Assure has lost its customer focus and the app which caregivers/family rely on, cannot be depended upon to work consistently.

I had a fall 3 days ago, and it didn't activate the device.
Would be nice if the device can be tested remotely.
I still wear it, but mostly as a call device.
I'm a little disappointed.

Well this is an update as to how giving life assure another chance worked for us or should l say didn’t work for us.
My 81 year old dad took yet another tumble and the new device failed to go off
Once again our worst nightmare came true.
Or dad lying on the floor unable to help himself up.
As before l phoned life assure and they kindly said again he should have pushed the button. He twisted his elbow and was lying flat on his face on top of the device unable to push himself up to push the device.
Life assure has given us no peace of mind what so ever and l am expecting a full refund. I will let you know how that works out for us.

ETA: After this review the company did prioritize my refund. As a result I am changing my rating, (at their request).
I am very disappointed with the way I was treated after my husband passed away. I was promised that I would receive a refund as soon as I provided the tracking number for returning the device. Then I was told two days later that it would be another 4 - 10 days before I would receive it. They made a promise and didn't keep it. The amount due me is nearly $1,000. This is no way to treat a grieving widow. Shame on you.

The response was exceptional. The workers were well trained and took excellent care of me all the way to the emergency at the hospital in Stratford and stayed with me until I had been attended to. They were magnificent.

The. Response from the monitoring team is always very quick even when I accidentally triggered an alarm and cancel it they contact me immediately to ensure all y well When I contact the administrating team for inquiries they always have responded in a timely manner and very polite manner
