I made a support request when I had poor internet response times - ultimately diagnosed as a problem with my own computer. I had a number of interactions with support whilst we resolved the issue. This was with a real person - and the same person each time - who was demonstrably competent, patient with me and wanted to help me out. I think he went beyond a narrow interpretation of his role and gave me advice on what I should do with my computer.
Lightning fibre were very professional
Lightning fibre were very professional, quick and thorough. Rob, Glenn &Conor set it up and were friendly, informative and tidy.

Amazing customer service.
I have been with Lightning Fibre for around 2 years and recently moved home. With all the changing and moving of utilities, Lightning Fibre were by far the easiest company I had to deal with, I called a few days before our move and spoke to a very helpful lady on a Tuesday evening and then the next day I was contacted by Robin who sorted the install at my new property. Robin was very friendly and helpful. I can honestly say that I cannot fault their service.
Our install was booked in for just over a week later and went without a hitch with the install guys being very friendly and again, very helpful. I would recommend Lighting Fibre to anyone who wants a great product and customer service.
Regretting the switch to Lightning Fibre
I switched to Lightning Fibre after being with Sky as I was told it was better quality and better price. The price is cheaper, but the quality is not great. Multiple times over the past few months, my wifi is disconnecting leaving our house without any connection. Considering my TV won't work without connection (Netflix, Disney+, etc) it is frustrating. You can't contact anyone about it except via email after 5pm, in which case, you get a ticket, and a pretty dismal response with no real reason as to what the issue was. It has happened again today 07.07.2026 at 8:05pm. I know that there is planned maintenance on 08.07.2026 from 11pm to 6am, so I know it isn't the planned maintenance, but whenever I speak to them about it, there is no answer as to what has happened, just an assumption that there may have been work going on. Yes, the bill has been paid, so it hasn't been disconnected due to missed payments. Does anyone else have this issue? There was such a big hype about LF coming, but I'm beginning to wish I hadn't bothered switching. Sky may have been expensive, but at least, if there were issues with their WiFi, you get an investigation into it, they compensated you or gave a discount on your next bill, and issued an apology for the inconvenience.

Luke at Eastbourne is amazing
Luke at Eastbourne is amazing! Our box stopped working at the worst possible moment. My son has broken his ankle and would be spending the next few weeks at home, and our tv, computers (everything) is connected to the internet. Luke went out of his way to make sure we were back up and running that very day! Super service and I won’t ever be leaving!

Very accommodating and helpful with last minute changing times on the day of installation
The Lightning Fibre guys are really friendly and were very accommodating with some messy time changes on the day of installation (customers fault, not theirs), when I had some trouble contacting my friend to let them into our flat, since we still didn't have a doorbell installed.
They did a great job installing, clean and tidy and the service works great. Would highly recommend going local for internet services :)
