What is ‘fibre’ vs ‘full fibre’?

Happy with installation
Staff I spoke to before installation were friendly and helpful and the two people who did the actual installation were great. As neither myself nor my husband are great with technology they helped us connect up our devices and did not leave us until we were both happy with the work carried out. Would definitely recommend Lightening Fibre

I've had Lightning fibre since it was first installed in my area, I have a telephone system which I had before fibre and a simple adapter allows it to work with fibre. I have never had a problem with this system so cannot suggest any improvements.

There was a technical problem so I had to wait a month for this to be rectified but I was not kept up to date with the situation. The 2 men who did the connection were polite and efficient and explained exactly how they were going to carry out the installation and consulted with me with regards the positioning of the router clearing up any mess and reinstating the lawn they had to dig up

Immediate help is reassuring
I didn’t expect a reply after normal working hours but a very patient employee was reassuring and worked to get me back online. I extended my contract the very next day. To speak to someone directly was a very positive experience.

Excellent installation with Conor and Cully
Conor did my installation today. He was excellent sorting out a complex connection which wasdue to the configuration of my house. Ably supported by Cully they were both efficient and professional and ensured the wires were hidden or placed where they were not noticeable. All fixings were done well and things were tidied. Both were very personable and polite. It had taken LF a bit of time to do some engineering in the road a few weeks earlier so my connection could go ahead but I certainly can't fault the installation day itself. Excellent work and everything is up and running.

Good value internet service with decent support service.
Have been using Lightning Fibre for several years now. I had a problem with dropped service on a Friday. It was resolved by a friendly technician on Monday. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because it would have been nice if the problem could've been sorted on the Saturday. A whole weekend without wifi was a bit of a pain especially with the world cup and tennis on! I've since acquired a 5G router as backup.
