What is ‘fibre’ vs ‘full fibre’?

Customer Service every time. No 'chat bots'. Staff that are genuinely helpful. No problem too small. This then radiates to their installation teams and beyond. Great product, service and price.

Lightning Fibre listened to what the problem was, immediately raised a ticket and booked the engineer for the next day. Two hours later he called round as he was free, saw where the fox cubs had chewed the cable and cheerfully set to work in the pouring rain, attached new box and thick trunking to keep it all safe from creatures. All restored within an hour, absolutely brilliant service and broadband very reasonably priced too.

I switched to Lightning Fibre last month. Before installation I phoned Lightning Fibre and arranged a pre installation visit to talk me through what would happen and answer any questions. Three days later the installation was smooth and quick. The installers removed a redundant copper cable to the house in consultation with me and explained the work they needed to do.
Our broad speed is now better than before (my provider was Plusnet) and my monthly bill is less. I’m delighted with Lighting Fibre.

Have had broadband for the last 2 years and opted to up grade for the next 2 years. No problems always very helpful and always someone available to talk to if any problems.

Overall pretty happy with lightening fibre pretty much zero issues however did have a problem last week lost connection landline and internet just so happened on a Friday, Called to get help and was informed engineer would be here on Monday,
Was not impressed as ment a whole weekend without landline or internet. Wife called after I spoke the them and thankfully they sent a engineer on Sat morning. Fixed the problem in 10 min. Cable outside in the grey box had disconnected.
Problem fixed thankfully. Based on that I'm pretty pleased but would have been a different story if I had to wait till the Monday.

We contacted lightning fibre with a view to having super fast fibre installed. In just over a week from site visit the installation was completed and everything was switched over to the new system. The installation was done to a high standard by Glenn who was very helpful throughout. Excellent company to deal with so far five stars by us 👍
