Fake referral program
They promoted a referral program and I was excited to use my friend’s code.
Turns out the referral program won’t work if I don’t use the $15 credit (which can’t be used if I use any other promotion).
So basically a clickbait to get you to refer your friend with a “$15”. Disappointing.

Great website to use
Mobile website is very quick.
Items are easy to find.
Placing the order through was quick.
Although one minor hitch - when I swooped from mobile app to the website, it lost ALL the contents in my basket…
Fortunately I was able to locate everything quickly and could proceed with the purchase.

Poor Buying Process
Wrote a review earlier and for the sake of responding to a public review, LF responded to Trustpilot’s Review and dropped a personal note stating it had been escalated.
1. Order placed since 14/02.
2. Raised 2 queries via App - 3 diff CS rep responded to state stocks were unavailable, which explains why it hasn’t been shipped and requested to be patient.
3. Checked on site - shows that it is available for sale and not sold out.
4. Put a review on Trustpilot on 24/02 - 4th CS rep responded back on 26/02 to say that something went wrong along the payment processing which explains why goods are not shipped (contradicting to all 3 different CS reps’ responses earlier).
5. Replied if it has to go to a point where public reviews had to surface surfaced before actual checks were made as opposed to providing lip services earlier.
6. Went silent again.
7. Received a note on 01/03 stating an item is not available and was cancelled. Again, cross referenced the same item on app and it is still published ans available for purchase.
8. As of date, delivery date stipulated is 12/03 to 19/03 - almost > 1 full month from date of purchase.
Not a reliable site to purchase items you need unless you are looking to stock the items up, well in advance.
Poor management of stock availability, customer service, remedy to complaints, and long delivery turnaround.

Great products, but orders always get cancelled
I love the products and the prices are great. But my orders always come back with issues, or get cancelled with no notice.... so I usually have to reorder 2-3 times every time I want someone, which is a massive pain.

Good - they carry products using organic natural ingredients
Bad - if a review is not positive they do not allow it to be posted giving products a bias opinion which is not honest marketing, people shoud be able to read the information and make choices

Waste of my time
Had a unpleasant experience purchasing with lookfantastic.
Firstly, when I saw bad reviews post my 1st purchase, I tried to cancel the order within the 1st 2 hrs. This was rejected as they claim order is processed.
Secondly, order were sent out with improper packaging. My item leaked and were rejected by my local courier before delivery. Was told refunds will take 14 days.
Was excited for my order but truly disappointed with how the whole experience turn out. There is no duty of care towards consumers in ensuring items were properly packed. All in all, I wasted close to 1mth to wait for the items and to wait for the refunds to be approved. Why waste my time?

Forced to pay for tracked delivery
They are offering LNY discount so I went to make a bulk purchase. But upon checkout, they removed the Standard delivery option and only left the Tracked delivery option which is $22.50 (a ridiculous cost).
When I sought help, I just kept getting responses from different agents which never answered my question. They just kept saying
1. "Tracked delivery is Available". I KNOW THAT, I'm asking for standard.
2. "Please check the delivery options at checkout page". I already provided a screenshot to show that standard delivery was unavailable. Also that's not what I was asking in the first place.
3. "Delivery options are subject to change". Conveniently, they took away the standard delivery option when they offered a discount. I'm being FORCED to pay for tracked delivery which negates my discount in the first place.
They're trying to cheat your money here. I've had to repeat my question to them MULTIPLE times simply asking "when will standard be back" and no agents seem to understand my question and keep diverting.

Mixed, but overall, positive experience
The site sells authentic products at competitive discounts. However, I had one order which I regretted to make - I immediately cancel it, the status shows "Cancellation Processing" but, boom, 10 days after, the package arrived. I have my part to blame but I thought the order was cancelled. Anyway, one of the items leaked, and I reported it, and I got a partial refund, which is fair. Their customer response was prompt and to the point, which I appreciate. All in all, I would buy at the site again - I just did - but I would be very careful and remind myself that, unlike iHerb, the order cancellation may not work on this site.

I have been purchasing products from Lookfantastic for a few years now. The quality and integrity of the product delivered is always guaranteed. On tom of that, any time I had issues with missing or damaged packages, the after sales team was eager to help. They reached out to the post more than once to help me locate packages and in the event the products were damaged, a replacement was always dispatched within 24h. I highly recommend their services and will keep purchasing.
