However Bradstone don’t charge as I have ordered samples from them over the last month for free

Thank you for reaching out to us about your sample order. I apologise for any confusion or inconvenience this has caused.
Upon reviewing the tracking information with our supplier, Bradstone, we confirmed that your sample was requested on the 25th and delivered on the 29th. The proof of delivery (POD) has been emailed to you for your reference.
As we've previously explained, we charge a small fee for samples to cover our costs and maintain the integrity of our sample service. In some cases, our suppliers ship samples to us first, and we then forward them to you via a courier. In this instance, the sample was sent to you directly from Bradstone.
To resolve this issue, I've processed a full refund for the sample charge. We hope the paving you ordered is perfect for your garden and looks lovely once installed.

Very professional company I bought some slabs which 4 had issues with. I emailed them with pictures, before you know it they were replaced to finish off the project. Excellent service deffo use again. Very trustworthy.

Excellent customer service.
The team at LSD couldn't have been more helpful in ensuring we got the right products and deal for our landscaping project. Special thanks to Rob and Manuel. I have not seen our sandstone paving yet as it was delivered to our landscaper's yard in advance of the project start date next month. Hopefully I will be as pleased with the products as I am with the service!

Really happy with my purchase of Indian sandstone slabs. The colours are stunning and create a lovely warm glow.
The delivery was within a week with no breakages. I would not hesitate to order from LSD & BSD again.

Order took 2 weeks to arrive
Order took 2 weeks to arrive. The pallet of slabs was shipped to the incorrect address which put my job behind as I had organised all arrangements settled for a week after I had placed the order.
No compensation, nothing offered just a "nothing we can do"...
Further edit:
LSD has responded saying that they "resolved the issue in the 15th, the day after initial issue was recognised".
That is a blatant lie.
The error was made on 9th of July and I phoned to check what was happening with the delivery on the 14th... Not exactly the next day is it?

We've looked into your order and can confirm that it was placed on July 2nd. Due to an administrative error, the pallet of slabs was unfortunately shipped to an incorrect address.
We were first made aware that you hadn't received your order on July 14th. Please know that as soon as you notified us, we took immediate action to rectify the situation. We were able to arrange for the correct delivery to your address on July 15th, just one day after you informed us of the issue.
We hope this explanation clarifies the timeline and our swift resolution once the problem was brought to our attention. While we deeply regret the initial error and the disruption to your plans, we appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention so we could resolve it promptly.

Quality control and response by suppliers poor
When prompted Rob Linacre from LSD investigated and arranged a refund for the stone samples which was due after we placed our order for over £2000 of landscaping. He also seemed sympathetic to my complaint about the quality of two of the large stones in that order that were very obviously badly marked and encouraged me to send him photos of any in the pack that we would like replaced. Saying that LSD held STONEMARKET their manufactures to a higher standard because of their higher prices.
He then informed us that STONEMARKET have said that is what to expect and they would not be sending replacements and there was nothing else he could do.
Regretfully i haven’t yet been able to upload photos so you can judge this (not yet uploaded as using the Trustpilot app - hopefully Trustpilot will get in touch so I can add these?) the marks on two of the large stones are much more noticeable than minor marks and in my opinion for this reason they should not have been included in this premium priced product. The thickness of the stone products has been reduced from what was advertised when we were placing our order making them much less robust.

Thank you for your recent feedback regarding your Stonemarket paving. We understand you're disappointed with the outcome, and we want to assure you that we took your concerns seriously and did our best to advocate on your behalf.
Regarding the "marks" you observed, Stonemarket has confirmed that these are not defects but a natural iridescent, rainbow-like effect inherent in natural sandstone. This is a characteristic feature of the stone, and as such, it's not something they can rectify or replace. They explained that variations in colour and appearance are to be expected with natural stone products.
Concerning the paving thickness, Stonemarket recently adjusted their standard to 18mm. This decision was made to help keep prices as competitive as possible, following extensive testing conducted by both Stonemarket and Marshalls. Their tests concluded that while 22mm paving is stronger, 18mm performs exceptionally well in typical installations, provided it is laid correctly.
We hope this explanation clarifies the reasoning behind Stonemarket's decisions. While we regret that we couldn't achieve the outcome you desired, we appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention.
