We had been on the market for a year with another agent and despite them working hard and being caring, we had no results.

Michael McMullen from McEwan Fraser sent us a letter offering their services since the house had been on sale for a while. He came to visit and talked us through a specific approach and pricing strategy he would take to make the property more attractive and hit the right targets in online searches. We found him very confident, assuring, knowledgeable and helpful and the process of relisting our house with McEwan Fraser was easy.

After a short period of time and several viewings, we had a strong offer which we have accepted. Interestingy, the family who have purchased the house was on Mcewan Frazer’s mailing list and residing locally. We have now successfully completed the sale and have moved on from what was extremely stressful period before McEwan Fraser became involved.

We would absolutely recommend McEwan Frazer to anyone looking to sell or buy the property. We wish to send a particular thank you to Michael McMullen and Logan Watt for their exceptional services, working late out of hours, understanding, and especial their human touch that we all need in those tough times.

Connie came out and valued 2 x guest houses for me in Glasgow one in the city centre and one in the west end. She was easy to deal with and very experienced in her field this came across in her communication and the advice she provided, her communication was excellent. If my family decides we are selling we'll use Connie at Mcewan Fraser to sell for us. I have already recommended her to a friend who's looking to sell his business.

A very long story cut as short as possible: we decided to sell our property with McEwan Fraser after their regional manager visited us and proposed a specific solution to our problem (equity advance). Midway through the sale, we found out that said service was unavailable to us: in response to our complaint, we were told it hadn't been proposed (it had). We also had some communication issues with the agents following the offer we placed on the property we wanted to purchase, in that they were not available and didn't communicate effectively with the counterpart's agents and us. After our complaints, we were followed by their Managing Director, James, and a solicitor, Angus, who have been very helpful and led us to completion. There have been other issues, but addressing them would transform this into a poem.
Worth mentioning that their advertising team has done an excellent job, and their photographer, Grant, has been stellar.
In conclusion, they are considerably more expensive than their competitors, but we decided to buy/sell with them based on the promise of a stress-free experience. Due to the above-mentioned issues, that has not been the case, and we wasted a considerable amount of money.
They seemed to care about our issues, and some of the people we dealt with have been very good, hence the three stars, but I am reluctant to recommend them.

Selling a home is the most significant thing you can do in your life and McEwan Fraser made it feel like the easiest thing in the world. The team - Alishah in particular - were communicative, direct, happy to chase or provide updates, as well as helping us through a serious & unexpected hurdle when a buyer dropped out. They also recommended a separate solicitor to manage our onward purchase, and the whole experience felt seamless. Genuinely cannot recommend them highly enough, I was legitimately delighted by the service.

From the moment we met Grant we knew we were in good hands. His friendly, personable nature put us at ease as soon as he arrived. He explained how he would go about taking photos and some of the things we needed to do to help - eg put on lights, open up the piano lid, tilt the blinds at the best angle to let as much light into the rooms. He showed kindness, professionalism and care in absolutely everything he did. We were so impressed and happy to have Grant in our home. He has such a passion for his work and that shone through when talking with him and seeing him work. To have someone who loves what they do makes such a difference! His care and attention to detail was excellent and this was only magnified when we saw the photograph proofs. Wow - the photographs are stunning! I used Diane at mcewan fraser for my one off new build sale and everything from start to finish was amazing. The communication from her and Logan in the office was always great keeping me up to date with the sale and any enquiries. I am now using them for all my new build developments and they have sold some off plan taking a lot off me as a developer. Great company with great, knowledgeable and polite staff.

If I could give 10 Stars for Grant. I would, and so would my wife. He is a uniquely gifted man with his personal and professional approach. I’m honest enough to say, I didn’t want him to leave after he did our photoshoot because of his friendly approach.
His attention to detail and professionalism are outstanding. A next level human being.

I recently sold my flat in Edinburgh through McEwan Fraser Legal, and they could not be faulted. Although using them for conveyancing only, their team were on-point from the off; in particular, the solicitor handling the sale, the quite brilliant Gemma Hayward, who treated the task with the same respect afforded to a full-service provision. From first contact through to the nuts and bolts of the legal back and forth (bids, paperwork and so on) Gemma - polite and friendly throughout - was super efficient, ultra reliable, and always communicative, offering insights and updates whenever required, with a very quick response time to emails. Even their fee was quite reasonable! I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, if and when negotiating the sometimes unique challenges of the Edinburgh/Scottish property market. Thank you, Gemma. Kelsey Robertson was fantastic with us, we had a pressured situation where we had to get an offer in and hadn’t heard from another solicitor so Kelsey managed to sort this all within an hour.

I honestly can't thank Stephen enough for how quickly he helped me during an extremely stressful situation involving my daughter. I had spoken to 3 or 4 agents regarding marketing my mothers house in Inverness , and when we spoke to Craig Peters at McEwan Fraser Legal, he stood out as easily the most engaging and helpful of all the agents we had dealt with.
