Excellent Service During a Difficult Time

I chose this estate agent because Miles Byron had already marketed and sold a number of properties in the local area very quickly, which gave me confidence from the start.

When I first met Richard the estate agent, he came across as very friendly, warm and extremely understanding of our situation. We were in the difficult position of needing to sell our mother’s property in order to help fund her future care, so it was a stressful and emotional time for our family.

Richard provided helpful advice on how to present and “dress” the property before it went on the market. Once it was listed, the interest was immediate. He received numerous enquiries and organised an open day which ultimately resulted in a successful sale of the property.

Throughout the whole process Richard kept us fully informed, regularly messaging with updates and progress reports. It was very reassuring to know he was taking such a personal interest in the sale and keeping everything moving forward.

He also went above and beyond by recommending trusted local tradespeople who could help with property surveying, deep cleaning and the removal and clearance of the property once the sale had completed, which made a big difference for us.

Richard was always available to guide us through the sale and clearly explain each stage of the process in simple terms, including what would happen next with the contract and completion. This gave us great confidence at what was an extremely stressful time.
