I booked our holiday over the phone. Your representative Sarah took all of our details and the deposit payment. Confirmation documents arrived within the hour - they were all incorrect! Instead of being registered as Mr, your representative entered me as Mrs, which would I imagine invalidate all of them including the ATOL certificate. Fortunately I did look through them and noticed the mistake and called Sarah back. I was informed that “it’s just a fault on a drop down menu”. I understand that mistakes happen, but I would have expected at least a cursory apology, which I certainly did not get.

Been looking for a Krakow city tour for a while and the one offered by Newmarket seemed a great option. Spoke to Claire on Sunday and outlined our requirements. She was extremely helpful and advised she would check if our preferred hotel could accommodate us. By Tuesday it was all sorted. Musa took care of confirming all the details and was so friendly and patient. This is my first booking with Newmarket and very impressed so far.

After travelling with Newmarket holidays last year to Canada & having a wonderful time, I thought this trip to Italy-Portofino,Florence & Tuscany would be as enjoyable. How wrong could I be, the holiday itself was lovely apart from too busy a schedule but the problem lies with how Newmarket Holidays dealt with a cancelled return flight to Bristol that was as a result of the airport traffic control in September.
Having received a text at 2am on the morning of departure we were still informed that another flight could be laid on for us & we would need to go to the airport. There were 10 of us on the flight that were affected and we were at the airport for over seven hours with very little information of what was happening. We were informed that we were able to purchase food and drinks that would be refunded by Newmarket holidays. They later reneged on this agreement and told us that we would need to claim on our insurance and then change their mind again and told us to claim from the airline. We have since tried to do this and been told that we can’t get the full amount because there is a refund voucher, we didn’t receive anything.

We eventually we put up in hotels this was not without problems when as for solo passengers we were told that we could have a twin bed room and if we didn’t like that we could stay at the airport. This isn’t how I feel we should be treated. I have put in a formal complaint to Newmarket holidays but they’ve really dismissed how I felt.
We were eventually given a flight 2 days later to Gatwick not Bristol & we were assured that a coach transfer had been arranged by Newmarket Holidays & that we should wait at a certain point & time which was followed by the 10 of us to the letter. We attempted to call & ask where the transfer was only to be told ‘there’s a problem with traffic’ another was ‘they are parking’ & another ‘look out for someone in a high visibility jacket, & also numerous phone calls. After waiting for over three hours we were told to depart from the terminal & find the coach parked waiting outside the Premier Inn.
Since then they have passed the responsibility onto the passengers by claiming that there appears to be some confusion around pick up location. This is strictly not true, we did everything that they asked us to do. It’s just a pity that they don’t feel the same.
Be warned if you do book a holiday with Newmarket holidays then hope that nothing goes wrong because if it does they don’t seem to know how to deal with any problems and this is from the ground up, there has been no acceptance of responsibility , no recompense and for a company the size of Newmarket holidays I would’ve hoped that they would know how to,deal with customers by now.

What a fabulous trip!!!! We had an amazing time visiting Delhi, Amritsar, Dharamsala, Shimla, Ramthanbore, Jaipur and Agra. Our highlights were seeing 6 wild tigers which was just amazing and the Taj Mahal of course which was just beautiful!!! We had the most amazing guide, YP Singh who was very knowledgeable and great fun too. He went above and beyond to ensure everyone in our group was having the best time. Everything was very well organised and we would definitely recommend this trip to anyone considering India for the first time.

Myself and my friend were on the Newmarket tour with Andrea Huntey Outwith all the wonderful things we got to see and do in New Orleans, Memphis and Nashville...Andrea (Mom) was absolutely wonderful. She went above and beyond to accommodate and help each and every one of her 'ducklings'. Her information and knowledge of each place we visited was second to none. We never missed any important sights/ highlights and found out so much about each place, the sights...the sounds...the best places for food and drinks. She was always available when needed... approachable, helpful and most importantly very friendly. Her enthusiasm rubbed off on the group and I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say she was an important part of our holiday helping us get the absolute most out of our tour.
The only downside for us...which had nothing to with Andrea...was we had to dine at different tables on the Riverboat cruise, as there were uneven table numbers we were split up. I suffer a little from anxiety and this could have had a huge impact on my night/holiday. I think this issue needs addressed. We were VERY disappointed with this as we both has to dine with strangers feeling we intruded on families meal time and we also felt embarrassed. Again...no fault of Andrea. Andrea is an asset and great ambassador for your company.

I had a wonderful experience on my Newmarket tour we stayed in Birmingham Alabama for 1 night then we went to new Orleans then mempis and stayed in the graceland guest house visited graceland then went to nashville the whole tour was amazing and our tour guide Andrea Huntey was marvellous she gave us so much information everywhere we went and she took us to pebody hotel to see the ducks this whole tour was fantastic and I would recommend this to anyone

Andrea has been outstanding throughout the whole trip. She is knowledgeable, personable and nothing has been too much for her. She has packed so much extra into our trip with surprises that made this all that extra special. I cannot speak highly enough of her. This trip has been fantastic, and largely because of Andrea. If we do another NewMarket trip we would hope to meet Andrea again and have her as our guide. Thank you!

Andrea Huntey was informative,very friendly approachable and great knowledge of the cities we visited.Newmarket offered and delivered great service.

Tour was great such a variety of different experiences tour rep Andrea Huntey was fab gave us lots of information on all the areas we visited and was always helpful

The tour guide Andrea was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. She was always available to assist with any queries or questions. Knowledge was great.
Coach driver was a little grumpy and at times undermined her which annoyed a lot of the group.
But the destination's were fabulous. We enjoyed all 3 cities and would certainly book again.

We took the 18-day tour, and had a truly memorable trip. We were lucky to be hosted by YP Singh - an excellent, knowledgeable, passionate and funny guide. India is lovely and it takes skill to get a group around all the sights on the list. We had such good experiences in Delhi, Amritsar, Dharamsala, Shimla, Jaipur, Rambanthore and Agra. A real mix of activities to keep our senses engaged. Recommended

Just good information and pleasant to talk to

I was able to get through to the Customer Service Dept. quite easily and my issue was fully understood and resolved by Musa efficiently and quickly. She was very courteous throughout and called me back as she had promised to update me on the resolution.
During my two calls with Musa I also asked two specific questions about my upcoming holiday and she was able to answer them immediately and in full.

The holiday in India was amazing. We were accompanied by a very knowledgeable, funny & amazing guide. Our senses were all awakened. Brilliant experiences in Delhi, Amritsar, Dharmsala, Shimla, Jaipur, Ranthambore & Agra seeing temples & tigers, enjoying tuk tuk rides & being in a 17 long white taxi convoy.

Unfortunately our experience with Newmarket holidays prior to departure was decidedly poor & they were very unhelpful.

Our 19 day Guided tour of India with Yatendra Pal Singh Tanwar was amazing. He made our holiday. He was a fountain of information and knowledge, and nothing was too much. My wife hurt her foot and the next morning he produced an ankle support and wouldn't accept any money for it. He went out of his way to make sure every one was happy. And his laugh is very infectious, he had us laughing every day. The tour was great , we saw a lot of beautiful sights and YP gave us plenty of info about each location. This was our first escorted tour and it was brilliant, and mainly due to YP and his hard work.
