As a recent partial retiree with no experience of financial planning and a historic risk averse investment appetite (and scepticism of the financial sector), my wife and I are new customers of Nova Wealth. Joe Checkley, our Chartered Financial Planner, has been excellent to deal with since we began our journey 5 months ago, has been accessible, responsive to our many questions/ concerns, patient and laser focused on our needs. He and the Farringdon team (called 'Amy') have put together a financial plan that we are really delighted with and confident in. As a scientist, the 'evidence based' approach to advice that Nova have adopted works really well for me, and everything is explained in precise but simple and accessible language. I wish we had had the foresight and confidence to take professional financial planning advice years ago. We can't turn back the clock for sure, but we can look forwards to an ongoing and positive relationship with him and his excellent team. Well done!

Really great experience with Nova helping us with buying our first house. We had Ben, Will and Kerri and they were really friendly and helpful, answering all our questions quickly and thoroughly. Would definitely recommend!

Not a great experience all in all. We spoke to Dan and he was pleasant enough. However the level of analysis they can do before you have to pay large sums is very superficial. Essentially they want you to put money into their investment vehicle. This all makes sense but doesn't really fit with the narrative on their site.

- I gave them loads of my own personal information and received zero analysis (let alone deep analysis)
- They did want me to invest with them - so not sure what he means by his comments
- Not true that they make everything clear in first session at least for me
- They did offer me a follow-on but after months and by then it felt pretty pointless

Really impressed by the high level of support provided by the Nova Team, including James Butler, Ben Kehoe and the many others working behind the scenes to bring a detailed understanding of my financial provisions and investment strategies. They are always willing to help and do their upmost to deliver. Really looking forward to many more years working together.

Ben Kehoe was my husband and I’s hero when it came to buying our first home. We had no clue what we were doing, but Ben helped us and held out hand throughout the entire experience. He made himself available at a moment’s notice. Both Ben and his colleague Kerri Gibbons were amazing. 10/10 would recommend and go to him again.

The Projections he provides for our retirement are an eye opener. You'd be suprise how much sooner you could retire.

I originally approached Nova Wealth as I worked in an environment where redundancies were a high possibility and I wanted to know if I could survive, if I were to drop out of employment completely, with my portfolio as is. I also wanted to look to see if there was more, I needed to do for the future looking to ensure a comfortable retirement in my old age.

James talked me through the options, providing clear direction where I was carrying too much risk and how to address this. James also described a view of a potential future that I hoped I could achieve, but did not in reality think I could attain. The entire process was clear and easy to follow. The team supporting James were brilliant too, providing swift response and ongoing progress updates.

The outcome from the review has given me confidence that if made redundant, I would be fine and could stop working completely. However, the rest of the advice has potentially changed the trajectory of the rest of my life. I could, if I so desire, wind down and stop working, taking early retirement, in my early 50s. In fact, James recommended that I could draw down more than I initially thought, enabling me to live a more comfortable life in my old age. Knowing this is a huge relief for me. More importantly, it has given me the option where I can live a life doing the things I would like to do, that I currently cannot do due to work commitments. Engaging in this process genuinely has had a positive impact on the rest of my life. I cannot thank James and the team enough.
